Although her brothers are significantly tall, Ji Rin is five-feet and barely two inches. She is almost as skinny as those supermodels in the magazines, but her family's friday pizza nights and monday burger grill-athons put a bit more meat on her bones. She's the type that no matter what she eats, she barely gets fat. She pays close attention to her physical appearance and works hard to maintain her white skin (although she's naturally a bit more tan).

Fashion! Fashion! Fashion! Ji Rin never goes out without checking the latest trends of Seoul's fashion and make-up. Her clothes are never just jeans and a shirt, there's always a story or trend on what's she's wearing and why. It's always form over function for her as she sacrifices most of her comfort just to look good. I'm Ji Rin, but you can call me Rin."› You always have one of those friends that's the mood-maker of the bunch, that whatever happens she can bring the light mood in and is usually the one to break the bad tensions within her friends. She's extremely friendly, although that doesn't mean people always like what she says. She's very frank which sometimes seem rude to other people. But hey, she says what she thinks. Background: 

Ji Rin's family is wealthy that's for sure. They weren't always rich though. Her mom was once just a simple waitress and her dad a simple office worker wanting to make it big. They had their first child -- Shin Dong Wook -- at this time. They weren't planning on getting more children until they got more stable jobs. Ji Rin's dad decided to invest in a promising business he stumbled upon one day. The business didn't seem to be doing good, up until Ji Rin's mom suggested to change the way they ran their marketing. It boomed and became one of the biggest electronics manufacturing companies in South Korea. Ji Rin's dad started to invest in more companies, becoming the largest share holder in some of the largest companies in South Korea. They had their second child then, and the twins. By this time it was obvious that they were extremely financialy stable so they had one more child, Ji Rin's mom was especially happy when their fifth child was a girl.

Family:

Ji Rin's family has that really-close family vibe. Their parents, being so successful, barely need to leave their house and could work from home so they always have time for their kids.

Simple, classy, and feminine. Those are the three words to describe Sohee's style. She mostly wears one-piece dresses and mostly keeps her long black silky hair down. When she's working, she ties it up or uses a hairband. She barely know anything about fashion, so she usually just wears the most simple and non-obstructive clothes she can find, which are usually one-piece dreseses.

"It's very nice to meet you. My name is Im Sohee."» Sohee is extremely strict and responsible. She's the sensible and perfect young lady that mother-in-law likes. She's so strict and responsible that some people call her a robot and the like. Sohee always speaks politely and is always proper -- as if it's become a habit. She takes care of herself very well and knows not to be loud or noisy. Thankfully, that doesn't mean she doesn't know how to have fun though. But even when she's having fun, she would act proper; even when she's laughing out with her friends, she covers with her hand, or when she makes a joke, it comes out a bit forced (which is a cute point of her, says one of her friends).

Background:

The Im family is an extremely wealthy and respectable family, one of the most wealthy in the whole South Korea. They are also very strict, hence Sohee's proper-ness. For Sohee's immediate family, she has an older brother and a younger sister who wants nothing but to have fun. Sohee and her siblings are being trained like princesses, they have their nannys and tutors who teach them how to act and speak, which would look preposterous to those outside the family, but to them, it's like a tradition.

In school, Sohee is the student council president, and a good one at that. With her, she has her vice president and bestest friend, Kang Ji-Hyun, who also calls herself So-yu. She's known So-yu since high school and always relies on her when she feels like she's going to die from her responsibilities. She also has her other friends, Jung Jinyoung, Shin Dong Woo, Nam Woohyun, and Park Choa.

Sohee has only ever known Ji Rin by name, and even there she's only ever known Ji Rin by her family's businesses, since it's a bit of a need to know "competition" for her family's businesses. Ji rin on the other hand, has never known Sohee, mostly because she didn't care what was happening in the world around her. During the story, Sohee tries to be a kind of big sister to Ji Rin but she knows Ji Rin has to deal wth it on her own. Of all the people she's known, Ji Rin is the only Sohee feels weirdly angry about. She knows it's not Ji Rin's fault but she feels so frustrated and angry at her that sometimes she refuses to answer Ji Rin's questions.

Personality:

Sunggyu is a bit strict but also a bit of a derp. Around his friends he's talkative and loud, like any other twenty-something young adult. But around his family and "business associates" he keeps a stern face and a steady tone of voice. His switching personality prioritizes the latter; even if he has friends around, if his father or any of his contacts are around, he becomes strict and businessman-like. Sunggyu refuses to let his family down, it's one of the reasons why he acts like he does. He will and does work tirelessly to meet their expectations, even if it might mean he could let his friends or himself down. More than anything though, Sunggyu doesn't like letting his best friend down. Although sometimes he just can't help it. In which case he keeps it to himself and lies to her.

Background:

Kim Sunggyu comes from a family that was once very rich, now they're just upper-middle class -- a bit richer than most of the middle class. His family's businesses aren't booming as they did before, hence the decline in their financial stability and mostly why Sunggyu always obeys his father. His father is very strict, especially after their mother died. He has a younger brother and it was supposed to be the two of them against the world, but his father has turned their brotherhood into a competition, and now Sunggyu is always competing his younger brother for their father's approval. Recently, Sunggyu has caught his father's attention, agreeing to an arranged marraige with one of South Korea's wealthiest families.

Sunggyu's mother died when he was in high school. At that time, his dad was less strict and allowed him to be with his friends and his band. After she died, his father fell into depression for a few months before being reborn as the strict man he is. He forced Sunggyu to quit his band and the competition between the brothers began.

How you met:

Back in high school, Kim Sunggyu was in an indie band. It started with music club, where he met his friends: Lee Sungyeol, Choi Jonghoon, Choi Minwhwan, and Kim Myungsoo. They later decided to make a band and quit the music club. They weren't very popular, up until their second year to senior years when the whole school knew about them. Even though they quit the music club, they were still required to join a club. So Sunggyu decided on the club he though would eat up the least of his time -- the sewing club. Ji Rin joined that club in a heartbeat when she found out that there was a sewing club. Sunggyu sat next to her, it was the only seat available after he arrived late. Ji Rin was a fan of the band, but never looked at their photos so she didn't know who he was. She was just very friendly and liked teasing Sunggyu when he couldn't sew properly

How you act around each other:

Ji Rin has a huge crush on Sunggyu, you could say she's kind of in love with him, which is why she liked bothering him the most. She's always wanting to be next to him like a little puppy, and like a puppy's owner, he's always happy to oblige. Ji Rin's always running towards Sunggyu whenever she sees him and Sunggyu won't leave her when he doesn't need to. It either looked like they were a couple or like Sunggyu was treating Ji Rin as a younger sister (most people think it's the latter).

How you treat each other:

How did you feel when you were suddenly in the underworld?

I was confused, of course. Won't anyone be? I didn't know what happened, me and my friends were happy and then suddenly -- you know, it's like I was like a nightmare. I hated what was happening and I just wanted to wake up, but that's obviously not happening! I wanted to go back to my family -- to Gyu-jiji that maybe I could just close and open my eyes and he'd be laughing at me as if I just had a nightmare.

How about when the gatekeeper allowed you to go back to earth?

I wanted to, I was excited -- I was seriously happy! But then when you think about it, I'm already dead, so would I be undead or a zombie? Do I need to eat people's brains and all that? That made me nervous, I don't want to go back to my oppas just to eat their brains, no thanks! Ack!

What are you most regretful of leaving in your life?

Well... Mostly leaving things as they were, never really trying to change anything. I was too comfortable with what already was, I never really though of what could be... Uh, I-I meat my family and friends, yep! Hahaha... I wish I could've said goodbye o-or something.

What do you think of the body and identity you received?

It's like what, freaky friday? Like I've been switched with my mom but stricter and -- and dresses?! Really?! Out of the people-- couldn't I just have gotten a man or something? And... she's Gyu-jiji's... Ack.

If you could, would trade with someone else's, with whom would you trade with?

I honestly don't know. Maybe? Someone who had less impact on the people I care about maybe. Actually scratch that, no. I would rather not. I would rather know what this person could do to the people I care about and have that control.

What type of personality does your closest friend in the group have?

One of the quiet ones. They're fun to tease and bully. Hahaha! Plus wouldn't that be a nice balance?
