gyuri, by the looks of hers, looked so innocent like those typical sassy girls who makes the hallway of the campus their own red carpet. she has her own. she walks unfashionably, with a small smug smile on her face. so innocent yet so smug, right? but it was just how she walks. she had this habit sometimes that she imitates one person. 'she even calls him too-sweggy-to-handle-guy'. dubbed as little miss athletic, which is pretty obvious because she is the school's volleyball team captain and pretty much the most active female on the sweg crew. no one knows how this girl get a lot of energy that after a few sets of volleyball practice is she's in for a 'just dance' battle with the guys. she's your typical seoul teenager with all the teenage drama minus the drugs and . she's somehow tomboyish... often admits that she's manlier than the guys in the school. she's all smiles and very easy to approach. she takes every work seriously, even in group works. she loves to joke with everyone she's been with and can be everyone's advice machine.

but sometimes she's too stubborn, when it comes to her decisions. (sometimes, she insisted that the crew will wear maroon on wash day.) she sometimes blurt out weird statements and questions like, 'if the poison is expired, will it still be poisonous?' 'what if we make our own country by using dried dog poop...' pretty much sums up that sometimes everyone thinks of her as a lunatic. gyuri is too concious with her body, and it's weird that she sometimes eat a lot (she says, 'i don't care if i get fat, as long as i'm satisfied...') but later on cries that she'll gain another pound or two, which earns a hit from gayeon sometimes. 

she may be able to control her temper but there are times that the bottle just broke for some incidents and it will be too hard for everyone to calm her down. the lesbian issue was the one she's affected with, although she laughs it off, inside she's questioning everyone why they have to create such stories.

captain buns are so thankful that she had the crew with her, although it was unexpected that she became part of it.

born at the fifteenth of december and an illegitimate child of a businessman on his 30s by now. gyuri easily accepts that she is a daughter of a hooker before but as of now she doesn't even care anymore. together with her sister, her mom does everything for her to live without the assistance of her father. she ignored every word the kids said about her being illegitimate and one of the daughters of the mistake. there are times that she questions herself why does she have to be like that. her older sister always tells her not to put it on her mind but it became a mantra and became her strength point. that's why she is capable of controlling her temper well.

unfortunately, her mother died with cancer, leaving only gyuri and her older sister. she stopped her college education for gyuri. her sister only want the best for her. gyuri felt guilty sometimes that her sister sacrificed a lot for her.

it's not that hard for her to adjust on her new school, and made a few friends. she applied for the volleyball team because they offered scholarships for varsity students. in her simple ways, she repays all of what her sister had let go for her.

once she graduated high school, she'll finish her college studies and find a good job. she'll live on a well-off house and take care of her older sister like she is doing to her by now.

» home — gyuri's home life is pretty much how every teenager does everytime. there are times that she's being an extreme lazy . there are some that she's the all-around person. since she's living with only her sister, it's easy for them. as much as she doesn't want to cook, but she forced herself to learn, although she only know to cook a perfect, not messed up sunny side-up and bacons. she's pretty clingy to her sister when they're together. "unnie is like my twin. unnie is mine. mine!"
» outside — aside from her trying to fix her unfashionable way of walking, she is known as the clumsy girl-next-door. pretty much the opposite of her being athletic and being the sports girl of the school. good thing she's not as clumsy while on play. "ugh... damn these feet of mine..."

he's the founder of the crew... the ultimate 'swag', they said. yoongi, at first, seemed looked unmotivated, and sometimes he really is like that... he's too honest and never take back his words easily. everyone loves his cool attitude. he's like living in the young, wild and free life and seemed taking life easily. yes, he is expressive but he can't find the words to tell everyone his love for hiphop. yoongi is up for new challenges, as long as he'll have the swag to do it. but the fact that he's like that. he's fun to be with, and most times he's the energy source of the crew, no matter how blunt and lazy he is.

gyuri had been hearing about the swag boy the first thing she steps on her new school.it so happened that the boy was her seatmate. gyuri doesn't actually care until break. the cafeteria was pretty full so she had no choice but to sit in the fourteen-seater cafeteria table which fits for large groups and such. the thought of the people there, especially the seven guys and the other six girls, won't care if she sat with them. she examined the faces of the guys and girls, knowing they're known in the school somehow, especially the cheerleader one. she looked beside her and saw the same boy back on their home room. 'okay', she thought. 'keep it cool, gyuri. keep it cool.' until he introduces them as the crew. she wanted to shrink at first due to the stares of the others, but she remembered to keep it cool for her. besides, her sister, inha, said to make friends. she first approached the same guy, min yoongi is his name, who lazily gazed at her, and much to her surprise that instead of ignoring her, he talked to her cooly. and that's just it.

yoongi rarely talks to her, unless it's about the crew stuff and chemistry assignment. gyuri, still don't care. yeah, they're friends but not the best of friends. until one time when gyuri was assigned to clean up the room, and find yoongi there, embracing his hip hop side. she just watched him until he notices. yoongi's cheeks flushed red, embarrassed because someone had finally discovered her secret infatuation to hip hop. he told gyuri that she's gonna tell it to namjoon and the others right away. gyuri shook her head, "nah. i don't spill secrets just because i discovered it.", she softly spoke, finally earning a sigh of relief from him. but he's completely screwed because gyuri is still a mystery to him, and doesn't know what would come out on her mind once he did something wrong to her.

after the revelation, yoongi, even though it really not his nature, surprisingly became extra nice to her. gyuri had sensed it, chuckling at the thought of it as the reason. well, after a few weeks, gyuri knew some things about him, vice versa. she became extra honest but limits herself before she tell everything. for her, it was weird to trust people other than her sister and her best friend jinhye, but she finally trust the guy. she doesn't know why but it doesn't matter anymore.

gyuri and yoongi had gotten pretty close and started to endure their every flaws easily. hoseok would often told them that yoongi had finally found his match. 

then an incident happened and because of yoongi's smart mouth, he accidentally said something that gyuri was deeply hurt and broke the bottle that she kept for years. after that incident, even they often meet because of the crew, gyuri moves away from him, and instead clinging on gayeon that time. she was mad but she avoids herself to spill all of yoongi's secrets to everyone. she keeps her promises well, that even though her tongue has been itching to spill the beans, she prevents it.

yoongi pulled her somewhere, away from the crowd just to apologized and told her "this was the first time i did this but i don't know why and i don't care anymore... i have to apologize. i truly am sorry." with all the sincerity, she forgave him. from that time, yoongi, which is very weird for him to do so, had became wary with the word he said to her. he picks the words that were light and those words that gyuri won't be offended.. a part of him says that he has to watch for this girl... it's up to you guys to know what will happen.

who are you?  〉gyuri tries herself to keep still before bowing formally, "hello, i am cha gyuri of the volleyball team." she looks around for a while and nods, "they call me captain buns... and i think that's it."

how did you join the group?  〉she pauses for a while until she remembered, chuckling at the thought, "it was free burrito day that time. the whole school was getting crazy with it so..." she started drawing lines and boxes in the air, "...since i had my own lunch, i find myself a seat, which was the large table in the middle of the cafeteria... then yoongi shouts that we're the sweg crew. after the break, they asked me if i'm okay with joining the group and i said yes..." she shrugs, "we're all victims of yoongi, to be honest." and then gyuri laughs a bit after she said that.

what do you think of the group?  〉"aside from having free snacks care of seokjin, they're good." gyuri gave the interviewer a nod, her expression's pretty serious. the interviewer laughs at her short answer, "i'm serious, though. what can i say with those kids? i mean, all of the good things are at them already." she adds.
who are you the closest to in the group and why? 〉"uhh... aside from yoongi... there's... uhm..." she glances at the interviewer for a while, "uh.. all of them, i guess."

who are you the least closest to in the group and why?  〉gyuri blinked her eyes before shaking her head. "no one?" the interviewer asked, again earning a shake of her head. "are you sure?" he asked once again, and gyuri give him a nod.

any activities that you want the group to do? 〉gyuri raises her hand, signalling the interview to wait, as she pulls a steno notebook and flipped some pages, "i created a group bucketlist, but it's only you who i am gonna tell it." she looked at her list and smiled, "first is mt trip. like a camping or something. then... cut classes and never graduate together." the interviewer raised his eyebrow, "cut classes?" gyuri glanced at him, shaking her head. "that was just a joke. i was bored and i just included it." she said. the interviewer nods and told her to continue. "next is have an official sleepover. play jenga and uno, have games like truth or dare and charades... pretty corny but hella fun.." the interviewer nods, as he writes on his notepad, "a beach trip. and some open forums..." she nods, then closes her notebook. "some other wishlists are to be added later on..."

while in a restaurant with the others, which seat do you love the most?  〉"the aisle!" she smiled at the interviewer, and claps with no reason at all. "of all the seats, the aisle is the best part. very spacious and you can easily get out!"
