Hello everyone, I hope everyone is having an awesome summer so far :D (if it is summer where you are??)

Okay this blog post is because I have discovered (HA) found Archive of our Own (mostly because I accidentally fell in love with Merlin and Teen Wolf oops) I've started using it a lot more because lots of different fandoms (and also because Livejournal is honestly too hard for me to use, I am honestly so clueless when it comes to LJ) and I was wondering if any of you guys have an account? IK that there aren't a lot of exo fanfic writers in the archive (when comparing with like, Doctor Who and etc) but if any of you want to check out my account (winks wonks) I'd probably love you a lot. You don't need an account to kudos or comment tbh, so you know. HMU ;)))

I will still be posting drabbles and fics on AFF, but Aff is actually really slow in China??? For some reason???? I'm not sure, but the website takes forever to load, which is another reason I'm starting to transfer some of my fics to my archive account. (some because I'm looking back on things i've written and I kinda want to curl up into a ball and find a small cave to hide in)

Okay shameless self promotion aside, I'm now going to talk about my summer (because you all want to hear about it, IK)

I'm in China for the summer (like I am basically every year lol but) and its really nice. I mostly stay in Shanghai because my parents moved back there two years ago (I go to a boarding school in the states) but I'm in Beijing at the moment, visiting my grandparents and extended family and such. I was born and raised in the States, but honestly I really love China so much. I've spent the past five hours in a small cafe with my laptop and a few books (the coffee and food here is amazing honestly) and I haven't been interrupted even one and no one cares what you're doing and its a bookshop with a cafe??? Does america have this or am I just very confused and have never come upon such a thing. And the thing is, these small cafes where you can sit and work for hours can be found anywhere and its so calming and relaxing and URGH. I really want to just stay here....

My summer has actually been super relaxing so far. Last year, I was really busy studying for SATs and trying not to freak myself out (I failed tbh), but this summer I've mostly been studying for my subject tests (October) and planning on starting my college apps soon. I've been hanging out with my brother a lot and spoiling my two kitties with love (sometimes unrequited love -_-)

I'm sooo nervous for next year, and honestly can't we just skip the college application process and go straight to college??? I'm not really sure what I want to study anymore (I want to become a lawyer but that means studying something like lit or history during college and then 4 years of LAw schoOL?) and I really wish I had my life in order but I don't??? But at the same time, I also feel really good about myself (I got better grades this year than last year which is really cool) (and I've finished most of my tests :))) and I have a vague idea of what I want to do with myself. Its not nearly enough in the long run, butI think I'm finally getting somewhere.
