do you know how extreme Mr Son is when he choreographs BTS songs? (no i didn't get to go to any of his workshops *cries*)

but seriously.. gosh i'm still laughing so hard at myself. since BTS released their album, < DOPE > has been my favourite track even though i go crazy and emotional at the other songs as well. i was wondering whyyyyyy didn't ANY of them mention about that song throughout promotion cycle for < I Need U > because they talked about almost all the other songs.

when they released < DOPE >'s music video i died. let's get to know me for a while. i.. focus on things that are little different from normal fans i think.. throughout the music video, i was just going crazy over the camera work, the editing and the choreo. i forgot that the boys were you know.. wearing different uniforms HAHHAHA

the song is legit dope itself even the choreo blew me away. my expectations were sky high and what they showed was as high as my expectations. i started learning the dance since then.

uhh.. being someone who doensn't get support from family when it comes to k-pop, i don't really have a lot of 'time slots' where i could freely learn the dance PROPERLY. i can't do it in my room because it's not on the ground floor, so if i did stand up and try dancing, my mother downstairs would definitely hear it.

golden opportunities came now and then when i was left alone at home. i fully used the one to two hours to try learning the choreo as much as i could by watching the dance practice and slowing it down to 75% (oh dumb i just realise i could have searched for the mirrored and slowed version.......................)

yeah so just now.. i (sort of messily) nailed the choreo, remembered most of the moves, and then i told myself "hey let's watch the original dance practice video"

there wasn't much to dance in the beginning until the hook where the crazy choreo comes into play.

i have never laughed so hard before at myself (not even as hard as when my mouth started swelling after my wisdom tooth extraction)

"SINCE WHEN WAS THE SONG SO FAST DAMMIT?!"

that's what i kept shouting while trying to match my steps to the beat during all the hooks. my goodness BTS songs are no joke..
