appearance. let's start with her height. jaemin stands at about 170cm- which is pretty tall for the average korean woman, and she's proud of that. she had a growth spurt recently which resulted in her height boost- she's ridiculously happy about it you see, because she's now the second shortest in her family (her mum is the shortest, and the rest of her family are incredibly tall you see). moving on, jaemin weighs about 51kg, which is slightly underweight for her height category but she's a dancer, so she has to always be exercising to keep her stamina in tip top shape. next would be her features- since she was young, people have always commented on how she looks a lot older than her actual age- it was so bad to the point that there was once, she had to pay an university student's fare for the bus when she was in elementary school- she was pretty angry. she had a lot of baby fat, which made her look older but ever since she began attending dance school for real, and after she hit puberty, her features became significantly sharper, and soon everyone was complimenting her left and right- and she'd blush all the way. her sister likes to say that she's the "second gyuri" (okay, this is my own opinion but i really think that hayoung looks a lot like gyuri, especially in the japanese version of nonono). anyway, on to her hair- over the years, jaemin has experimented with many different hair colours but the one colour she liked the most on herself was blonde- she probably had that colour for the longest time ever but when she was going to debut, the company made her dye her hair another colour, say, they'd give her pink dip dyed hair, which she would appreciate a lot honestly, because she's always wanted to dye her hair pink.
fashion sense. jaemin loves purple- she'll actually wear anything, as long as it's purple. she's not one who really cares about the way she dresses but since her dongsaengs and unnies would mind, she usually lets them coordinate her clothes for her- simply because she's too lazy to do it on her own. as for the moment, her wardrobe is filled with lace- lots and lots of lace- mostly purple and white- her unnies believe that their makane (if she turns out to be) should always look like a pretty purple flower so they filled her wardrobe with purple, black and white stuff- there's nothing else, really. she usually dones on a purple shirt with some white shorts, jeans or a white lace skirts. as for footwear, she'd either go for her pink sneaker heels or just plain ole sneakers. her winter style is just basically her putting on some knit sweater (on not so cold days) or a trench coat (on colder days) with just a dress, long sleeve undershirt, and thick wooly leggings. people just don't understand how she's just not freezing in that, because any normal person would be.

BEING BORN ON A RARE STARRY NIGHT, SHE WAS GIFTED WITH NAMES THAT MEANT STARS ( EXCEPT HER KOREAN NAME OF COURSE BECAUSE OF HER DAD ), LI LIXING AND ESTELLE LEE. JAEMIN FIRST BEGGED HER MOTHER TO SIGN HER UP FOR BALLET CLASSES WHEN SHE WAS 4, SHE REALLY LIKED IT A LOT- AND SHE PRACTICED IT A LOT, DESPITE HERSELF. HER SISTER INTRODUCED HER TO POKEMON THE VERY NEXT YEAR, AND SHE SLOWLY GREW OBSESSED WITH IT. POKEMON AND DANCING BECAME HER LIFE. AS JAEMIN GREW OLDER, HER LOVE FOR DANCING TOOK OFF, AND SHE BEGAN SIGNING HERSELF FOR DIFFERENT KINDS OF DANCE CLASSES, JAZZ, WALTZ, YOU NAME IT, SHE'S PROBABLY TAKEN A CLASS ON THAT DANCE BEFORE. OF COURSE, MANY TALENT SCOUTS WERE PRESENT AT THE COMPETITION, AND ONE PARTICULAR SCOUT HAD COME UP TO JAEMIN TO SCOUT HER. SHE REFUSED AT FIRST, BUT HER FRIENDS PERSUADED HER TO AT LEAST THINK ABOUT IT- SHE BROUGHT HIS BUSINESS CARD BACK TO BROOKLYN WITH HER AND DISCUSSED ABOUT IT WITH HER PARENT. her training life was pretty uneventful, though some trainees disliked her because she had been friends with the infamous jo twins. she treated everyone witth respect though, despite their obvious dislike to her. she ignored them, and focused more on achieving her dream to perform on stage. when she had first entered the company, she was made to take an evaluation test to test her skills, other than dancing, and when her trainers found out that she had such a unique voice while rapping, they jumped at the chocie, and got her to train her rap as well. she was definitely more unliked when she was chosen to cameo in boyfriend's mvs but why would she bother herself with the hate? they were all there for the same reason- because they wanted to achieve their dreams- so, she completely ignored and tuned them out.

personality. kwangmin appears to be clueless pretty much 99.999999% of the time and he is extremely unable to "read the atmosphere". he is extremely 4d and child-like which estelle finds very endearing no matter how stupid he may be some sometimes. he's literally crazy about pikachu and around jaemin which can be really annoying at times. he can be possessive at times but hey, possessive guys are cute! he can also be rather stubborn and bull-headed at times. surprisingly, kwangmin is the quieter of the jo twins and is usually unable to strike up a conversation with someone unless the other party brings the topic up first. he doesn't like being treated like a child period- he gets pretty mad.
background. they met through his brother youngmin when jaemin first entered starship. youngmin had seen her one day in the dance studio and was amazed by her dancing skills so he went up and introduced himself to her. then after jaemin had finished her practice, youngmin pulled her aside to introduced her to his brother, kwangmin. the two were shy at first until youngmin had asked what jaemin liked to do and she said she liked to play pokémon and that's what got kwangmin out of his shell and they started talking about all the kinds of pokémon that they liked and stuff. so, basically, these two clicked because they liked the same things.

"the best friends who have matching pikachu socks." these two children are always talking about pokemon every single time they speak to each other- no one knows why they haven't grown out of that show even though they're like way too old for it ( they aren't too old in their opinion, because you're never too old to love pokemon ). they're always arguing about which pokemon is better and can't go one episode without starting an argument. they love to annoy and poke fun at the other, by doing something they really hate- like kwangmin always pats jaemin head even though he knows she doesn't like it. however, these two work well with each other when it comes to pulling pranks on others- age plays no game when these two pull pranks. they once poured ice cold water (with ice cubes) onto youngmin to wake him up. he woke up immediately and chased them around the dorm. they can be lovey-dovey too if they try, but that ain't gonna happen anytime soon, because their feelings haven't properly developed- they're still at the budding stage. attraction is there, but they're unsure of their feelings for each other. as such, they'll just act like best friends for the time being. but let's face it- kwangmin would never see jaemin as anything more than a little sister- seeing as how she's still young- maybe, just maybe, when she grows older, he might just reconsider. on the other hand, jaemin does kinda like kwangmin but she's still young so she's unsure whether she actually likes him in a romantic way or that she just thinks of him as a friend..
