Personality: Sang Mi unlike her brother is a hyperactive bundle of dorkiness, she's not afraid to show who she really is and is opinionated and straight to the point, she finds it difficult to do ageyo and refuses to do any sort of cute act, but she finds people that have natural ageyo adorable, she tends to speak to herself whenever she feels nervous andwhen meeting new people, she's never quite unless sleeping or listening to her assortment of music and she'll never miss an opportunity to embarrass her older brother or anyone that's close to her. Her 6th grade teacher once told her that to follow your dreams don't sit on your behind and chase them till you've achived what you want, so with that in her mind Sung Mi auditioned and never gave up, Sung Mi after being in 3 different compaines is an extreamly hard worker, she has now gotten the grasp of what not to say and do in companies and what they will look for in people and she strives to be close to their ideal Idol.

Likes: Sang Mi ~ likes finding new and unique clothes at side stalls, a few of her best kept clothes comes from those side stalls.

Background: Sang Mi led a normal life with parents and an older brother she could always rely on, until her brother decided he wanted to audition and become an idol that Sang Mi after seeing her brother become a trainee that wanted to follow in his foot step. Auditioning at 6 places Sang Mi auditioned at the company her brother was in and got accepted, this was the beginning of her journey to become an Idol.

Family Background: Hwanhee pursued Sooyoung when she was 16 and he was 18 years of age, by the time she was 18 she was already married to Hwanhee and at age 19 she gave birth to Jinyoung four years later Sang Mi came to the world. Sang Mi lived a normal working family life style.

Best Friends: Hara || KARA ~ Sung Mi met Hara while she was still training at DSP and true to word of mouth she's the nicest person one would meet, Hara gave Sung Mi a few tips on what not to do in the entertainment industry and also helped her with the harsh training hours that us trainees had to deal with. After being there for 4 months Sung Mi looked up to Hara like she was her own sister.

Jaehyo || Block B ~ Although Jaehyo is alot older than Sung Mi he never treated her like a child, more like Sung Mi treated Jaehyo like a child, they met when they were still in DSP together before he left , Sung Mi and Jaehyo were like two peas in a pod, if you saw Sung Mi it would mean Jaehyo wasn't far behind. Sung Mi treated Jaehyo like she would treat her own older brother and Jaehyo adopted Sung Mi as his little sister.

Minzy || 2ne1   ~  Minji and Sung Mi go way back, they were best friends in Elementary school and Minji was another factor in why Sung Mi wanted to become an idol. They both entered YG at the age of 13 and were both in the running in becoming a new member of a girl group, Minji made the cut and not Sung Mi, she was happy for Minji and agreed that her image wouldn't fit a group that fierce.                                  

Friends:   Hayoung || Apink ~ Sung Mi met Hayoung when she was being introduced to the members of Apink as she was going to become their new member and making it 8, Sung Mi became instant friends with Hayoung since being the same age made it easier to converse.

Enemies/Rivals: Minah || Girl's Day  ~ From the day Sung Mi met Minah she's never liked her, with her over the top cuteness that is a little sickening to watch, to the over used eyesmile she does when ever they perform.

If you trained under a different company, why did you switch over to WM?: Sung Mi was going to debut under YG in 2ne1 only to not make the final cut, switching over to DSP she trained for another 6 months to debut in their new girl group RAINBOW to then decide she wasn't right for their image, going ove to CUBE Sung Mi was put in a group that was preparing to debut ~ Apink ~ but decided agianst staying for the cutesy image was okay but she didn't want to jeopradise their debut.
