'White of powdered snow, red of blood and the black of the ebony were bestowed...'

 

  The woman prayed to god, as she sat at the veranda as the snow fell, to be blessed with a child. A child was all she wanted.

 

 

 

  Finally, her prayers were answered.

 

 

 

  The woman, named Mijoo and had the title as queen of a kingdom, brought her daughter to this cruel world. She had named her young and innocent child, Yein.

 

 

 

  Soon, the gears of madness had turned.

 

 

 

  Yein grew with her mother's love into a beautiful young girl. The princess was loved by everyone or more specific, every men. Every man that seen her beauty fell for her eversince she was young girl.

 

  Entranced by her beauty that couldn't be compare to other women that has lived in that time, many would like to claim the princess as their own.

 

  The queen also loved her beautiful daughter. Any mother would, until she felt some twisted emotions in herself. Slowly, 'immorality' grew inside her.

 

  Jealousy, sorrow and envy filled the mind of Queen Mijoo as she watched her daughter's beauty gradually charmed male's attention.

 

  When innoncent Yein confronted her, harsh words came out from and her body involuntary punished her without reasons. Her face had a sickening smile as she watched little Yein cry. Everytime the little girl reached out to her, she only averted her hand and looked at her daughter in disgust and annoyance. She turned her back with her merciless laughter as her hatred grew stronger.

 

 

 

  "Being 'Beautiful' is a sin. Judge her, that poor and pathetic child!"

 

 

 

  Princess Yein finally turned 20. She was an elegant and exquiste maiden. However, she grew without the love of a mother, the red thread that became lose. Even when men gave her their unlimited love, she rejected them all. All she wanted was a mother's love. She would not stop trying to have her mother return back into a loving one.

 

  Until she overheard her mother plotting a murderous act on her.

 

 

 

  That day, the queen has blessed her with Red (Hatred).

 

 

 

  The queen had asked a woodcutter to bring the heart of her daughter from the forest. Despite knowing her mother homicidal plan, Yein walked inside the forest where the act going to play.

 

  The woodcutter saw her alone and wandering. From behind and with an axe in hand, he lifted his weapon to see Yein's scared face, but had fallen for her beauty. He dropped his weapon, completely bewitched and told the princess to run deep inside the forest. With a trembling voice, the princess sent her gratitude to the man and disappeared into the dark forest.

 

 

 

  Her dress had been dirtied by the dirts and twig, soon it was almost night. Yein decided to take a break and saw a fallen tree bark amid the forest. She carefully stepped on the dead leaves  and twigs before sitting on the log. The forest had an eerie sound to her, the wind was barely noticeable and birds howling with misery of their chosen life.

 

  All of the sudden, sounds of bushes being shifted and twigs cracked made the princess turned her head towards the sudden noise. A lone man was hidden between the bushes.

 

 

 

  A man took a ride on his majestic horse through the forest out of boredom. Despite the harsh activity, he wore his royal attire with a red cape that sat on his neck surrounded with white fur. Anyone who saw this man knew instantly he was a prince of a known place.

 

  Knowing he had gone far in the forest from his kingdom, he decided that a break would be pleasant. Not long after giving his horse some food, he heard a noticable rustle not far from where he stood. 

 

  Curiosity took over him before he tied his horse and went toward the sound.

 

  What he saw at first glance was a beautiful girl in a dress and scared face, skin white as snow and lips like they were bathed in blood. His heart was struck.

 

 

 

  "Ah, such rare beauty. Even if you'll despise me, I will have you in my hand."

 

 

 

  Yein looked at the man with hope on her gaze, but turned into dread. He laughed creepily and what she say in his eyes, arose 'Lust'.

 

 

  His hand gripping tightly on her frail waist while the other gripped tightly on wrist, she was trapped. He introduced himself as Prince Hoseok. Yein tried to pry herself out from him, her face turned away in fear. Prince Hoseok however tighten his grip, his hand that was on Yein's wrist moved to her face, caressing her cheeks before gripping harshly on her white fragile neck.

 

  Yein choked and was forced to look at the prince, those eyes filled with coldness and mockery...

 

 

 

  "Being 'Beautiful' is a sin. I'll steal you, immaculate and pathetic child."

 

 

 

  Yein was kidnapped and brought back to a neighboring kingdom, where she was tortured by Prince Hoseok, just for his desire for amusement. Like a butterfly trapped in the webs of a spider, she was abuse with no end as she waits for her death. The girl suffer in agony under his care despite given a luxurious place similar to her previous home. The castle only brought her memories of her merciless mother and her cold face.

 

  She found out that Prince Hoseok was the next ruler of his kingdom. Howbeit, she was sure that the man would bring misfortune to the kingdom with his ignorant and cruel heart. She wished for the end of her suffering of the prince's touch, until she finally escaped the castle.

 

 

 

  That day, the prince had blessed her with White (Pain).

 

 

 

  The once pure and innoncent princess ran inside the same forest she had escaped previously. She ran and ran, until two sunrise past before reaching a small disarray cottage. There, Yein had met with 7 tiny men or what they called themselves, dwarfs, that had 'stealing' as their living income.

 

  The dwarfs welcomed her, presumably enticed by her beauty as other men had. For once, Yein felt peace and home as she set inside the small cottage.

 

  The cottage was filled with their treasure from all their dirty deeds. From diamonds and jewelry till important paper documents. A sword had caught her eyes. The sword that had black carvings from the grip until the tip of the sword, the design filled up half of the weapon opposite from the sharp side. 

 

  Yein held the weapon in her hand, admiring its beauty. Her hand unconsciously went to the sharp side lightly, fresh blood flowed from the cut. She was amazed how the sword, despite its beauty, still slitted her skin with a slight graze.

 

  Yein agreed to be the leader of the dwarfs. They promised to grant her wish if she succeed their deal.

 

 

The love she longed for, wasn't given.

The one who gave her a hand, turned into the devil's hand.

What she desired was, the atonement of the 'Sin'.

And her life...?

She didn't desire for it anymore.

 

 

  Fire spread widely through the two kingdom. The screams and cries of people filled the once peaceful place. It was such syncronicity that both kingdom that Princess Yein despised was very near to each other, it made her work more easier. Yes, the princess of the kingdom burned her own kingdom.

 

  Yein stood tall with pride, the 7 equipped dwarfs stood behind her, standing proudly along with their new appointed leader. In her hand was the blade of revenge, that had pierced her on their first meeting, now glinted with red lights of the blazing fire.

 

  The now bold princess paced through the kingdom, killing every human being she saw. The arisen feeling has taken over her. Red crimson painted her sword as she made her way towards her once called 'home'.

 

 

  There, she saw a woman sitting on her throne, smiling sinfully as she looked at her horrid daughter. Queen Mijoo sauntered towards Yein, none dare to break the eye contact. 

 

  She raised her sword and pointed it to the person she once called mother. Yein, with a cry of distress, launched her body forward and watched the queen withered in her own pool of blood.

 

 

  That day, demise had blessed her with Black (Revenge).
