Girls' Generation showed that their popularity isn't only confined to young people but across all demographics. For it seems lately that whatever variety show Girls' Generation comes on, ratings will jump!

Take for instance, the latest episode of SBS' 'Running Man'. It's already a popular show, but the episode featuring all members of Girls' Generation recorded even higher than usual, according to 'Nielsen Korea'.

Their episode which aired on July 5 recorded a 9.7% rating, which was 1.7% higher than the previous episode, which is a pretty significant rise. Not only that, but the scenes where SHINee's Minho took off Gary's nametag and when Choi Hong Man was searching for Sooyoung recorded the peak viewer rating of the entire episode at 12.63%!

The latest episode of KBS' 'Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education', whichYuri appeared in, also snagged the number 1 spot in ratings in its timeslot.

According to 'Nielsen Korea', the July 7 episode had a 5.4% viewer rating. The latest episode's rating went up exactly 1.7% again from last week's episode, a huge jump compared to 3.7% from the previous episode.

Some may say that these shows are already popular, or these were particularly fun episodes, or the ratings rose because of the other guests - and all of this is true as well. But no one can deny that whatever Girls' Generation does always creates a buzz!
