I have grown so disenchanted with Kpop as of late. It could be for one or a combination of all these reasons

1. B.A.P.'s temporary/permanent hiatus

2. IKON will never debut

3. JYP refuse to give Got7 a decent song to promote 

4. BtoB are still so underrated and despite being one of the most talented idol groups out there can't have a breakthrough

5.  Everyone is so obsessed with roof hits, chart rankings, and music show wins (or it could just be the people on Onehallyu, I should stay away from that place)

6. No one makes good music anymore, not even established groups like Big Bang and SNSD. Big Bang's only decent release from the MADE series is "If You." SNSD's new songs sound like something Rainbow and Dal Shabet should be promoting.

7. All of the departures completely ruined EXO for me. Things just don't feel the same. It also feels like a few people that are still in the group don't really want to be there. 

Despite all this I am still looking forward to SM's new boy group. Hopefully SM will have learned from all the mistakes they made with EXO ( is SM capable of learning from their past mistakes?) and this group will have a great debut and be managed and promoted properly throughout their careers. I also hope IKON debut around the same time and we can go back to a friendly rivalry a la Beast/Mblaq with some awesome joint end of year stages. I have a hunch that both their fandoms will be bat crazy so things could get messy.
