ok so i always knew the so called caribbean abc-islands were part of the kingdom of the netherlands but i never knew which island was the one that began with b. i knew aruba and curaçao, i even knew that sint maarten (saint martin) was a dutch island but i didnt know bonaire was. or  saba and sint eustatius which, along with saint martin form the sss-islands.

and appearantly, bes-islands (bonaire, sint eustatius and saba) are like an actual part of the netherlands itself while aruba curaçao and saint martin are more indepented, like they are their own country (i really dunno how to explain, pretty much that they are just as much of a country the netherlands is, and these four countries together form the kingdom. the netherlands as a country owns the bes islands and the wadden-eilanden).
