Bad News

Okay, I tried to write this before but my tablet froze up and now I have to start over. If it freezes again, I'm going to be furious.

About my ballet evaluation, I didn't move up. I don't know about my friends because I found out first. Since I am already the oldest in my level, I have to quit because if I repeat the level, I would be with girls much younger than me. That would be awkward. I can still communicate with my friends through instagram but I don't know when I'll actually see them again.

I don't really know what to do know. I haven't cried yet, but I probably will soon. My blog posts have been kind of depressing lately so I hope to write more positive ones in the future.

"The greatest thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." Good old Abe Lincoln said that. Don't worry about anything but where you are right now. Don't worry about tomorrow, or the next day, just worry about the day you are in. I am sorry to hear that you are quitting ballet, but if you love it, then you don't need a class to do it. If you love it, you don't need an audience or more dancers or a teacher. I'm sure you can find an instructor somewhere, and if not, look online. I bet youtube might have some. I know it isn't the same but if it is what you really want to do then don't stop just because someone says you have to or should. Never let someone else control how you feel or think or do for yourself. At the end of the day the only person you have to impress or make proud is you! My little sister had her whole life turned upside down about two years ago, she gave up her dream of being a doctor, lost her boyfriend of 6 years, lost her baby, lost her best friend. She somehow found the strength to find herself a new dream. Something else that she loves to do. She has a new plan mapped out for her life that doesn't include her ex. She has new friends who help her and encourage her. Though she still suffers sometimes, she is happy. The reason I am telling you this is because you never know where life is going to take you. My sister says that she went through all of that so that it would lead her to where she is going now. without having endured those hardships she never would have found a new passion and changed her major. She never would be on the track heading toward her new and exciting and adventurous life! So maybe, for you, leaving ballet behind might be the hardship you have to endure to lead you to the place you are meant to be. Maybe fate is leading you to your destiny. You have an entire world of opportunity here. You have nothing stopping you or holding you back. Go have an adventure. Fighting!
