PAST
1996, 11th of July, 4:30 PM - The youngest daughter of the Jo Family was born. She was named Jo Huirae after her late grandmother who passed away on the same date , 4 years ago. Born into a recently broken family. How so? Just a few months before her birth, her mother had found out about her father's mistress. Neverteless, her mother loved her dearly despite having to be another memory of her father.
2001 - She was starting to slowly understand at a young age that there was something different about her family. She would often see the kids in their village going out with their fathers to do little activities as a way of bonding. She was contented with her older brother who acted pretty much like the fathers of her neighbors. The only difference she could make was that--her brother was younger and she would of course, address him as 'oppa'. Being a curious five year old, she would ask her mother about it but she always waves away the topic which has left her clueless until...
2002 - This was the peak of her life--she was finally going to start school. It was not what she expected to be like though. She expected to have numerous friends who loved to play by the lake or those who had the same favorite flavor of ice cream as her but instead, she was greeted with children who had nasty attitudes. She was criticized for the she presented herself. She wore boyish clothes since she grew up mostly playing with her brother. Then the topic of her father came up and she got teased for not having one as well. She knew that she had to tell her brother but out of fear, she allowed the bullying to continue.
2007 - 'Outcast' was her new nickname in school. Nobody wanted to be friends with her and that just made her insecurities increase even more. Her brother had noticed that her bright personality had slowly faded and she was more secretive compared to before. He told her that she should try to have other activities aside from the one she has in school (with him assuming that the change was due to what was happening in her school---brotherly instincts). This is when she met the choral society. This wa also the year that she had met her best friend, Jung Hoseok.
2008 to 2009 - Her mother had gained an illness which the local doctor said to have been terminal. This is when she had completely broke down. Her brother tried his best to reach out to her but she had seem to have shut everything out. It was thanks to Hoseok (who lived next door and just had to jump from his window to get into her room) that she started to eat normally again.

He thought that it would be a good change for Huirae so she could start anew but she refused to continue her studies in fear of having to deal with the same kind of bullies from her former school.

2011 - She made a promise to herself that she would try to change for the better. She usually stayed at the apartment her brother rented for them. She would spend most of her time singing the songs she recalled being taught to her when she was in the choir.She would also send snail mail to Hoseok just to update him with what was happening.
2012 - She was roaming around the city when she saw a street show in which a very talented girl was performing. She heard people calling her 'Bae Juyeon'. She seem to have caught everyone's attention for people were whispering both good and bad things about her. She was not the type who would gossip about others, she cared more for the talent this female showed. After the show, she decided to approach her and compliment her about her singing. She had told her that if it was possible, she wanted to learn how to be a great performer like her and from then, they've been good friends.
2013 - She had techinically auditioned but was also scouted by one of the producers of CT Entertainment named Kim Jaebeom. She had been discussing to Juyeon about her plans in auditioning which she supported her with a full heart. She was on her way home and she was singing the song she was suppose to use in the audition but Jaebeom has heard her on his way home as well. He had explained to her who he was and she was very enough thrilled to start training after a few more explanations and meetings from the company itself. Huirae had also given her full support to her best friend who she was surprised to find out that was already debuting in his own respective group.

FASHION STYLE » Growing up in an average family, Huirae does not really have any opinions about a certain style. Her first priority is usually comfort and her second priority would be how appropriate it would be to wear for that certain occassion.
CASUAL - When wearing casual clothes, she does not really favor wearing sleeveless tops...alone. She prefers topping them with a polo or a cardigan. She usually wears shorts and pants as well since her casual clothes are quite similar to what she wears to practice. As for her footwear, she would usually wear her worn out sneakers or combat boots of which her brother has grown out of.
FORMAL - She always wears white dresses whenever there is an event. She likes the symbol of purity whenever she wears such. The lenght of her dresses is always just two inches above her knees. She does not feel comfortable in wearing heels so she usually wears ballet flats or sandals with her formal look.

Her hair is currently dyed in an electric blue shade but her original hair color is coffee brown. Her eyes are a light copper tone. She has oddly tan skin compared to the other members of her family and she had no clue why--she would have guessed that she inherited it from her father. She stands at 166 centimeters and weighs about 53 kilograms. She has two piercings on her right ear and one on her left ear-- Two stars and one crescent moon.

PERSONALITY » Chunji usually gives off the playboy feel--in which he claims isn't true. He says that he just really is fond with making friends, specifically with women. He is 'suave' as how his noon fan describes. He is also very charismatic and very flirtatious. Don't get him wrong, despite being a tempting bachelor, he still loves his brothers. He has admit that sometimes, the attention given to him got to his head but he much preferred to share the spotlight with his brothers. He may not aact much like an older brother, he still shows that he cares for them. Among the group, he loves to tease the younger members. He is closest with L.Joe. His dongsaengs, members and younger fans beg to differ. They often see Chunji as the feminine member of the group who often whines about everything that bothers him. 'Diva' is how his fellow bandmates call him and he retorts by calling himself manly.
RELATIONSHIP » The two met on a variety show called 'We Are Dating' in where they were paired up be each others on-cam lovers. Chunji took this chance to prove his manlier side. He became prone to having skinship with Huirae.He even said on the show that Huirae should start datinghim for real which caused a slight issue between TOP Media and CT Entertainment. Chunji explained about his intentions for doing so and TOP Media had to inform CT Entertainment that it was only for the sake of publicity. Chunji made it a party of his daily routine to pick her up in her dorm and take her to her company
OUTCOME » Chunji confesses that at fiirst, it was all for the sake of his image change but he soon started to fall for Huirae. Huirae soon admits that she too has developed feelings for him but was afraid that he would just end up playing with her. They decided that they would try to just simply date each other out of mutual interest rather than for the benefit of their career.
