Before being a member of Thirteen, Nicole has always trained herself at home by watching idols. She and her little brother Hansol would bond by watching idols and listening to music. She never stops practicing or repeating a line in a song until it is perfect. She would pick practicing than to eat snacks. She would only eat after she perfected what she's practicing. She would cry if she can't practice because she loves to sing, dance and rap. She always gives her best. She might not give her all when learning the steps or lyrics but when she masters it, she starts to give her all in practicing it. For her, she can't really live without music. It is one of the important things in her life. She would cry whenever her earphones get broken. She would cry if she can't sing for a day.

Nicole is always kind and polite to people and will always bow at them. She bakes stuff for her members a lot and even for her brother's group. She likes to help people a lot and promised herself that she would donate to charities when she becomes sucessful one day. Nicole will stomp her feet and pout when she doesn't get what she wants especially when it's about snacks. Although she always has a smile on her face when she's whining because she doesn't want the person who bought it to feel bad. She always whines about stuff and complain.

This is her attitude when she is either sick or in a bad mood. She wouldn't get angry at you if you didn't annoy her or something. She is just acting normally and just resting when she's sick but when you annoy her or do something she doesn't like, she would shout and be grumpy. She will be really grumpy if she's in a bad mood, the members know she doesn't feel good so they wouldn't annoy her or . She is also bossy when she's sick or in a bad mood.

Nicole is afraid of many things. Her three phobias are insects especially cockroaches, failure and bad people. She is also scared of escalators, heights and death. She is always shaking and shouting whenever she sees cockroaches. She's really scared and you have to comfort her and make her drink something so she would calm down and stop shaking. She is totally scared of many stuff and she relies on her brother whenever she's scared but she also has her members who understands her well.
-Quick-tempered 'Quick-tempered Tiger'
Nicole can get angry quickly and her members know it well. She would shout when she finally lost her temper. She tries to stop it and would just try to cool off her anger by eating ice cream. She doesn't like it when people disturb her. She also hates it when people judge her. She would give mean people some death glares. When she's angry, she kicks and throws stuff here and there but don't worry! She just throws things like pillows or scrunchies. She doesn't like mean and arrogant people. She would stand up and give them a proper lecture. Do something bad to her or the people she loves then she'll give you the death glare. Sorry but you've messed with the wrong girl.

training life »
Nicole was excited when she started training. She wants to learn more and she kept on absorbing everything that was being taught to her. She was very serious but also had fun at the same time. She was so happy to have her brother training in the same company as her. She was the first one to audition in Pledis and Hansol was allowed by their parents a year later. She had small fights with other trainees because she is after all a know-it-all and she wasn't very happy with trainees judging her. She was just doing her best and she didn't do anything wrong. There were times when she asked herself questions like, "Should I stop raising my arm even when I know what the teacher was asking?". Nicole was frustrated but she just continued to do her best and explained to those trainees that she can't program herself to not answer so they should just work hard and learn more. She and her brother is semi-fluent in Korean so it was easier to make friends but they still had to learn some more Korean. Their parents visited them every now and then. Their parents had known the members of Seventeen and Thirteen since back then. Nicole is very close to the Seventeen members who also took care of Hansol. She was so sad when Doyoon got eliminated from Seventeen and when Ailee left the company because they became like her older brother and older sister she never had. Nicole was also upset when the original Hellovenus disbanded and her best-friend Hellovenus' Yooyoung came back to Fantagio. Nicole had permission from the company to watch her brother's performances in the missions for Seventeen Project: Debut Big Plan with their parents.

background » Nicole and her brother Hansol were born in New York, United States but they moved to Hongdae, South Korea when they were nine and seven years old. It wasn't very hard for them to interact and talk with people since their Dad talks to them in Korean even when they were in New York but they had to learn the culture as well and it was just a little shocking since their Dad already told them about South Korea's culture before. Nicole took care of Hansol very well and she protected him if there were bullies. Nicole learned Hapkido so she could defend herself and her brother. She has been studious and had high grades since she was a kid. The hardest thing they encountered would be reading and writing hangul. Nicole would teach her brother when he had a hard time. She was a very good noona and would give him treats if he had high marks on the tests. She has been bullied because of her intelligence. They would bully her so she would let them copy but she already had a strong sense of right and wrong so she never let them copy. Hansol would get angry at her classmates who bullies Nicole. She stops him from fighting the bullies because she always had ideas and plans on how to stop them from bullying her. Nicole would act and pretend like a teacher is coming and she always fooled them with her acting. Nicole became brave when she learned Hapkido but she never fought the bullies. Instead, she lectured them.

She and her brother started to love watching idols and listening to music since they were young. Nicole didn't ask her parents to make her take vocal lessons because she did well in learning and training herself by watching idols and researching online. She always listened to the tips the idols are giving. She loved VIXX, Apink, After School, Shinee, Girl's Day and F(x). She would listen to her brother rap and she was always proud of him. They bonded by watching performances and listening to music. When they go to school together, Hansol would always complain how his sister is always taking so long but when she goes out, he would just compliment her and would not complain anymore. NIcole was the first one who auditioned in Pledis. She sang Afterschool's "Shampoo". She passed and was supposed to be a member of Hello Venus but she was dropped and the company wanted her to be in Thirteen instead. A year later, she was totally surprised when their parents and Hansol visited her and told her the good news that Hansol would be training in Pledis as well. She started to be close with Seventeen members when her brother joined in.

He may look feminine with his long hair but Junghan is really manly, sincere and cool. He is sometimes quiet but he is also playful at times. Junghan is very gentle and he is very hard-working. He is shy and very polite. He gets along with the other members well even if he's shy. He is thoughtful and caring. He is very passionate about performing and gives his best. He is the second oldest and he is very reliable and responsible. He is Seventeen's Angel because of his angel-like voice and his sweet personality. FIRST MEETING » They met when she came in their practice room because Hansol told her to come. Her brother introduced s and she had eye-contact with him first before any of the members. They were slightly awkward and shy at first but they became friends and started practiced singing together.

INTERACTIONS » Whenever Seventeen buys snacks or candies, Junghan would give his to Nicole because she loves sweets while Junghan doesn't like it as much as her. He would watch her eating happily and would blush and smile when he sees her eyesmile. Nicole doesn't know why but she just smiles when she sees Junghan. She would watch him play basketball with the members and would cheer for him. Junghan is very sweet to Nicole and he seems to smile a lot when she's around. They like to walk together outside and Nicole likes to take pictures of nature but would take a picture of him too. Hansol likes to come with them sometimes. Nicole teases him by calling him just "Junghan" and without oppa after it then Junghan would say "Bwoh-ya?/What?". He would complain and chase her around just so that Nicole will call him "Junghan oppa" or "Oppa" again. They like to buy books together at the bookstore near the company. Nicole likes to bake something for them a lot. He would always be jealous whenever she is with Jihoon or Joshua but he knows that they are her friends. Nicole's ideal type is exactly like Junghan and he was so happy when she said that. They like to goof around and have fun together. Junghan isn't quiet when Nicole is around because they always have something to talk about. She cheered for her brother and for the whole Seventeen especially Junghan on their performances. She liked Team A's "No F.U.N" performance a lot. She would sing it out of the blue and he would smile whenever he hears her singing it. They are slowly falling for each other and it can be seen through their attitudes when they are together and when they are with someone else. At the end of music shows, they stand with their members but would have eye-contact and would talk either by mouthing words or gestures.
