PERSONALITY ♡

❝ SOMEONE CALLED ME A CINNAMON ROLL, THE OTHER DAY ❞ Magdalena is someone that has a very warm aura around her. She is a very warm hearted girl who will greet just about anyone. People tend to gravitate to her because she makes them feel wanted and welcomed. She is someone who is interested in what a person has to say or do. She is the girl that puts time aside for her friends or family because she loves them. Magda is kind and cares a lot for other people.

❝ AN EYE FOR DETAIL ❞ Magda is an observant person; she says it helps with writing to be detail. She is someone who will take in her surroundings and observe looking for detail. She pays close attention to what’s going on around her. Not, only will she pay close attention to her surroundings but to what a person is wearing, their attitude, how they cope.

 ❝ DOWN WITH CLUTTER AND UP WITH NEATNESS!! ❞ If there is one thing you should about Magdalena, it’s that she is always organized. She keeps everything tidy and neat; her room is, as her teammates have called it a ‘clutter free’ zone. Magda can’t really function until everything is in order and she knows where to find everything. When the Lady Avengers are about to go on a mission then she will make sure they know what’s going to happen and what part everyone needs to take.

❝ THE TONGUE IS THE ONLY TOOL THAT GETS SHARPER WITH USE ❞ Some would say Magda is quite keen with her words, almost manipulative. Magda would disagree and say she is just persuasive. She has a way with words that gets her what she wants. It’s effective when she wants to get herself out of trouble, when people are beginning to disagree with her then she will start to talk fast making the person forget their counterargument. Whenever there is a discussion or debate, then you can expect Magda to win even if she is wrong. She knows when to give positives and negatives of an outcome, like “Don’t be so lazy” or “Be more productive next time.”

❝ I THOUGHT I HAD THIS UNDER CONTROL BUT I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE ❞ Magdalena is a very anxious person. She has high anxiety which she handles by doing taking deep breathes and thinking about good things. When that doesn’t help then she goes to meditate. But sometimes she can't control her anxiety and how it rises. That's when she has the worst anxiety attacks which trigger her powers to react, too. She just can't help it, she worries about everything. Usually it ranges from the team and how they react to her, to if she’s doing something right or not. Sometimes Magdalena can become sick over worrying so much. It keeps her up at night and sometimes she can't eat because of her nerves.

 ❝ NICE TRY BUT I'M STILL GOING TO DO IT ❞ Like her dad, Magda is a very stubborn person. She’s going to do things her way when she can’t agree with the rest of the team. She isn’t willingly to change what her plans are because that makes more problems. Magda is a person who wants what she wants and will find a way to get it.

PAST ♡ Magdalena’s parents were at the height of their careers with two children. Her mother, Leila Russo-Fury was at the top of the chain as a Lawyer. She was a stress free woman who maintained her figure while Magda’s Father was the Director of S.H.E.I.L.D.  Although, seven months into her new success, Leila started experiencing signs of nausea and fatigue. Not really worried, Leila dismissed it as being related to stress and food poisoning. At nine months, her mother didn’t know she was pregnant and started experiencing major pains in her abnormal region of her body. Thus on August 25, 1996, Magdalena was born which was a surprise to her parents. Magdalena was named after her great grandmother on her mother’s side.

Magdalena had a relatively normal life for the most part. She grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii with her two older sisters and mother. Hawaii was nice for Magda, she grew up near the ocean and she really enjoyed the Hawaiian legends that were told to her by her middle sister, Renee. While growing up, Magda didn’t really see her father, occasionally he would come back, but two people were always with him, which were a red headed woman and a man with a bow slung across his shoulder. Her mother welcomed the two strangers with open arms and Magda did the same. Growing up, Natasha and Clint were always around and became a part of the Fury family. Natasha would teach her Russian which she would talk to her in and Clint always made her pillow nest where they would stargaze at night.

When Magda turned ten, the family up and moved to New York City to be close to their father when he wasn’t off the grid. Surrounded by S.H.E.I.L.D. and the Avengers, Magda life became kind of hectic and fun mixed together. New York City was completely different than Hawaii and unlike her sisters who liked it, Magda wasn’t use to it. She didn’t like how crowded it, the smell and the people were quite mean. The only thing that helped her through the transition was books and writing. She spent her afternoons after school reading various books and writing short stories she only shared with Natasha, Clint or Renee.  

Around the age of 14, things became complicated for Magdalena. She started getting frequent headaches and anything she touched gave her extreme static shock almost always making her disoriented. When she wanted to use her computer than she would always touch it and then it would start talking to her. Freak out, she stopped using that, until things like this started happening frequently. The last breaking point was when Magda accidently shocked her mother while helping her cook. Mortified, Magda locked herself in the pantry closet; it took two hours for Nick Fury to get her to come out. After calming her down, her parents explained the history of her mother’s side. Magda had inherited the power Quintessence. She had inherited this power from her mother's side of the family, the last person to have it in her family was her grandmother. It's a rare genetic bloodline defector. It skipped her older sisters and went straight to Magdalena.

 After the manifestation of her powers, for a short amount of time she was sent to live with her grandmother in upstate New York. Her grandmother was experienced with her powers and taught Magda everything, from controlling her powers and ways to handle them. Her grandmother knew how to heal a dead goat and create portals to other worlds. Magda was inspired to learn more about her powers because she wanted to be like her grandmother. Shortly after getting her powers under control, she graduated High School and shortly after her grandmother died. Her death effected Magda greatly causing her to almost regress her control in her powers. 

PRESENT ♡ After months of being monitored by her family, Magda began slowly training. She trained five days a week with Natasha and Clint. She sometimes works with her dad at S.H.E.I.L.D. doing paperwork. Her dad has created a new project called 'Lady Avengers' for a certain set of people to join the group. He has asked Magda and two other S.H.E.I.L.D. agents to join it and look for others. Besides recruiting, Magdalena is enrolled in New York University and is majoring in Literature.

POWER ♡ Magdalena has the power over Quintessence or most commonly known as pure life energy. the fifth element.

❝ I JUST TALKED TO A TOASTER FOR FIVE MINUTES ❞ Since she has the power over Quintessence, Magda is able to make inanimate or electrical objects come to life and is able to talk to them. This makes Magda very careful about touching certain things especially when she's upset, over excited or angry. While she can make them come to life, she can also turn them back to inanimate, she can also shock herself or overcharge an electrical object to point of breaking it.

❝ A SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM ❞ Quintessence can also be used like electrcity or energy blast allowing her to attack her opponent using a whitish blue type of lightening bolt. Depending on how much Magda releases enough energy into the attack it can be very strong and powerful. Although her energy blast or lightening bolts can be powerful, if Magda doesn't have enough strength when creating a powerful attack like that then she can cause physical damage to herself. The type of physical damage include headaches, nosebleeds, coughing up blood or almost stopping her heart from overworking it. She can also form electric shields and barriers with her energy as a defense mechanism. This also allows her to absorb a certain amount of energy. Her power is really draining so it requires her to sleep alot if she has overused it.

❝ HEALING TOUCH ❞ Magda is able to heal a wounded person with her power. She can heal small wounds or heal it to the point where the person can survive until they get to a place where they can be examined and attended to. Unlike her grandmother who is more experience and powerful she can't raise the dead or heal big wounds. She's not that experienced with healing. As much as Magda can heal she can absrob energy from other people.

❝ CATCH ME IF YOU CAN ❞ Magda can create small portals to another place as long as she can picture it. She isn't skilled or experience to create big portals or wormholes to other worlds.

❝ MEMORIZING ❞ Since she reads a lot of stuff, she can memorize a lot of things. She is better at observing and memorizing the detail of a place or the way a person talks.

FIRST MEETING ♡ Well it's really cliche story. Kim Alexander works at the same Magazine place as Magdalena.Alexander is a big writer there and Magdalena is the newbie who is really impressed by his work. While busy writing a scene for her English Class and copying some worksheet in the employers lounge, Magda forgot her notebook there. When Alexander was eating lunch he found her notebook and was reading some of he work. The next day, Magda found a note ontop of her notebook, explaining how her short stories had inspired him to write again. Soon after, Alexander 'accidentlly' bumped into her and introduced himself to her while inviting her to the cafe next door to the work building.

RELATIONSHIP ♡ They have a close relationship. Some mistake them as a couple but they clarify they're really good friends. They usually talk about books, writing or the latest movie. They both help each other out with writing and keeping eachother motivated. If one of them is stressed then they buy each other ice cream and bounce ideas off each other. When Magda is free, Magda invites Alexander out to the movies or to a concert. Or they spend each other over their places with movies and food, which always ends in Alexander holding Magda's hand or cuddling her. Magdalena is trying to get Alexander into some of her favorite bands and books. But Alexander says he likes Florence + the Machines the best. His reason being that every song reminds him of how lovely Magda is. Which Magda replies with 'As if' and a ugly cackle. They go on small picnics and to amusement parks where Alexander embarrasses himself trying to win small prizes for Magda. They really value their friendship they are both interested in each other but are too scared to say anything.

CONCLUSION ♡ Its complicated, they both have crushes on each other but Magda doesn't want to mix her love life up with being an Lady Avenger.
