BIOGRAPHY:

the originators of double x dance, ahri and danbi have been through many years together in the same crappy apartment. what started off as a silly idea during an internet chat, the two met up and made the dream possible. now as ahri is determined on yet another silly idea of being a no agency idol group, danbi is starting to have her doubts on how much longer she'll stay. with a mental pact to give up just one more year of her life dedicated to the group, if they fail, she'll leave their childish dream.

with the most beautiful doe eyes and the longest eyelashes, it's no wonder that danbi is resembled to a deer. she struggles with makeup and tends to just smother bb cream, dabs of mascara, a quick shade of eyebrow powder, and a tinted lip balm. she desperately relies on her members to do her onstage makeup so she can look camera presentable.

she has naturally darkened brown hair from the constant walking in the sun and has never dyed it. she's a bit nervous about going bright/unique colors since she believes she's too plain to work it. danbi is hair goals. honestly. having never fried her hair, danbi has the softest hair that she finds to be her best trait. it's naturally straight and she does braids when she wants natural waves.

for a dancer, she's oddly fragile looking. danbi will be honest when she says she has the body of a middle schooler. she's a bit insecure around the chest and booty area due to the fact that she has none. danbi has a bit of slim muscle around her calves only because of the constant dancing but literally her arms are jello. 

STYLE:

danbi dresses very feminine yet semi-formal. for work, she's often seen in a clean blouse, a pleated skirt, and very comfy flats. on casual days where she's just doing some errands, a sweater, jean jacket, shorts, or jeans are what she feels most comfortable in. when she's onstage, danbi is given clothes from other members cause she'd literally wear a sweater to a club if she could. she doesn't usually wear revealing clothes because she feels awkward and will go for a simple croptop and highwaisted shorts. in the apartment, usually cause other member's boyfriends are there, she feels too awkward so she wears sweaters and pajama shorts.

PERSONALITY:

althought double x dance is all about living the dream and having fun, danbi has to be the realistic parent that disperses the chaos.

danbi has honestly saved their lives from multiple impulsive decisions that the members have nearly attempted. it can get overbearing at first with the constant nagging but she only does it to stop them from getting hurt or injured. she's considered the mother of the group, not only because of her care-taking skills and naggy attitude but because she's so calm during any situation and takes care of the other's first. having been the oldest sibling, she's experienced in cooking and cleaning. at first, danbi seems snobby as if she was too good to interact with you but she honestly just never feels obligated to socialize. she's completely fine by herself and prefers the silence of a cafe then a club how she managed all those times dancing in the club as indie pop, she'll never know. danbi dislikes attention on herself and is more keen on standing in the back and watching others. she notices even the smallest little detail and makes a mental note on it. this causes her to be able to understand what other's are feeling despite them not expressing it.

members come to her for understanding or advice as she'll clearly hear them out without any rude remarks. she's clear minded and usually has a logical solution to their problem. danbi rarely tells anyone about her problems. whether she feels like she's dying from work or uneasy about the girlgroup idea, the members believe she's strong enough to deal with them on her own. because she's their strong umma right? they fail to realize the danbi is merely a twenty-four year old, unsure about anything. she hides and hides her problems only adding them ontop to the messy pile unti the stack will eventually spill everywhere. that hasn't happened yet at least. having had wonderful parents, danbi was always taught to know right from wrong. she's righteous to the point where she'll calmly tell even a person with a higher position, that they're wrong. she's strong with her opinions and rarely stands back to anyone else. danbi doesn't do it in an aggressive way because raising your voice won't do anything.

with a calm yet bold voice, danbi will have a whole 30 minute speech about how wrong you are. by the end of that, the person would probably mutter an apology and race out. she dislikes arguments and tries her best to avoid any type of fight. it's hard to provoke someone like danbi. you could be cussing at her and throwing chairs but her expressions wouldn't even change. it's a waste of her time and effort to deal with someone that's nothing to her. she has so little time and so many things to do that danbi has no time for fun. it's bothered her how people even since highschool have picked on her for being "gifted" but there's nothing gifted about her. danbi just works so hard. you could tell her the slight darkness under her eyes, the bruises from dance practice still prominent on her body, and the way she constantly looks sick for long periods of time.

BACKGROUND:

born in the incheon district of seoul, danbi was the first child of moon jisung and moon woori. ever since she was a child, she knew her family was more well off then the other kids. her father owned his own electronics company. having enough money, her father and mother wanted the best for her. she was given ballet lessons at the age of six years old. then her second sibling was born, moon daeho, a perfectly healthy baby boy. at the age of twelve, danbi and her family moved to the daegu district in a very smaller apartment. danbi at the time didn't understand what had happened except her parents had gotten more angry at each other.

danbi found herself always alone with her younger brother. her parents were always working and she had to take care of the 7 year old herself. she learned to cook, clean, and check up on her brother constantly. it wasn't till her drunken father had admitted they had no money, that danbi realized what happened. she was horrified and immediately canceled her expensive ballet lessons despite loving it. she began studying more in hopes of going to a good college to help out in the future. danbi still danced as she learned by herself and watching them on televison.

when she graduated highschool, she and her family were ectastic to hear about her scholarship to yonsei university. at the time, she had been talking to another dancer in ulsan and the two decided to get an apartment together. it seemed like a dream. she could dance and attend school. her father had given her a large sum of money for her to pay for food and text books. she couldn't tell him the truth that she was going to live in an apartment to form a dance team. he instead believes she's dorming with a friend.

PERSONALITY: 

» if danbi is the mother of the group, then yoongi is the father of bts. being one of the older members, yoongi controls the younger ones to do little stuff for him like getting to tv remote or handing him some water. he's definitely lazy and tries not to move as much as he can when he has free time. he's just a very easy going guy with a relaxed personality.

yoongi is a very sensible person, with his deep mellowness, he rarely gets stressed out. he's a blunt and assertive person and generally seems like he gives no s when he does. he just prefers to save his energy for the things that really matter to his heart like his music and family.

he's talkative and comical which his own charm and sarcastic humour that gets along well with most people's taste. 

HOW YOU MET/WILL MEET:

» after moving to daegu by twelve years old, danbi found herself living next to the min family. their only son, min yoongi, was a year younger then her. she didn't have a good impression of him due to his rude attitude and decided on ignoring his presence until she went to school and found herself sitting next to him. he had started school early and was in the same class as her.

they ended up sitting next to each other for three more years due to the alphabetical last name seating arrangment. the two were always stuck together for some cruel cruel reason. the teacher had even assigned danbi as yoongi's tutor. it wasn't long before their constant meetings ended up into something more.

the two secretly dated for three years and grew found of each other. yoongi had become a trainee at bighit and danbi also had her own dancing and college applications to work on. after nearing their four years, danbi rarely heard from her boyfriend. only a few text messages a week since he was so busy. one night, she opened her door and he had quickly explained,"the company said i can't date anymore. i'm debuting soon. i'll explain more to you later." then he just ran away

she never got a call or text from him and eventually just got over it until he just randomly showed up at her work, asking for a date.

INTERACTIONS:

» before as boyfriend and girlfriend, the two didn't cling onto each other but they enjoyed the small amount of time they had. yoongi would often sleep on danbi's lap while she read her books and they had small talks about the future. they gave each other space and the two didn't really fight about anything serious except small little arguments about who thought who was right.

presently, danbi doesn't give yoongi the time of day. she hadn't heard from him for over two years and is still a bit upset about it. danbi acts very calm and tends to ignore him whenever he shows up in front of her. which is quite often since he has a break at the moment before their new comeback. yoongi will nonchalantly apologize to her and just annoy her when she's working. he does try to be there for her and help her out at times because yoongi really did miss her.

he acts as if he's still her boyfriend in which danbi will coldy state that he ended it two years ago. it's obvious that they both have a bit of feelings still.

» nabi manages to speak to a popular music radio dj to get on the show. danbi immediately realizes something's wrong by how off nabi is feeling, so she finds out that the radio dj had kept trying to touch her. she's furious and on live broadcast, the dj questions danbi's intellect in which she states that she's smart enough to know ual harassment can land anyone even a dj in jail. his face pales and he avoids nabi.

» yoongi manages to bother danbi the whole day, pestering her that he's sorry. she shocking erupts, crying out how even jin managed to text her a few times, how come he couldn't? did he not think about her at all?

» so #2 danbi is a bit different then #1 danbi. this character is very soft-spoken and graceful. she came from a bankrupt family and decided she wanted to become a doctor in order to make a lot of money for her family. her parents do not know she's in a dance team and believe she's dorming with a friend. they don't even know that she's taken a year off of medical school. danbi is a bit unsure about the idea but because she loves the members, she took a year off to help ahri. if this doesn't work out, she's planning on leaving to focus on medical school. unlike #1, she's not that interested in auditioning anywhere else. if the group fails, she's just going to abandon dance.
