“ah, annyeonghaseyo, Choi Sooya imnida! *bows*” – When you first meet her, she’s the type that actually polite to elders. Like a Korean in common, she put politeness first in elders. Noted here that elders are the people that way, WAY OLDER than her. But still she’s a type of quiet one.

 

“you should use the blue one, it’s better than the one you’re using now. You will look chubbier if you keep using that” – ask Sooya something, and she will reply them with a honest answer. Well sometimes she goes blunt and being TOO HONEST and makes people kinda upset, although she’s saying the truth. Or at least, she’s saying what’s on her mind.

 

“………………” – extremely quiet. She’s not the type that greet people first, or the type that run to her friends and greet them like most of the girls do. If you want to talk to her, you need to greet her first. She won’t talk to people unless she need to talk to them. When ESSENCE in the middle of interview, Sooya will let the other members talk first. If they don’t know what to say anymore, at that time Sooya will be speak up.

 

“tsk. So annoying” – She easily annoyed at something. She can be annoyed at someone who is really loud. She can be annoyed if someone’s late for practice. There are 1001 reasons that can make someone like Cho Sooya annoyed. Even it can be possible, the other’s breath can be annoying for her.

 

“Aish. Why you have to ask me to do this thing? Can’t you do this alone? Give me that paper” – Although she sounds like complaining everytime she asked for some help. But in the end she will help them, whatever the situation is. She actually a kind helper.

 

“Ya, ya. You haven’t mastered the moves yet, let’s practice again!” – a totally bossy, she wants the best for her group, yet she forced the other members to do some more effort to the group. If she has to work together with other people, she also unconsciously taking the lead.

She always staying late at the practice room to improve herself in dancing, singing, and rapping, or other aspects what she think she should improve.

She have several nicknames, but her favourite is Practice Room 's Ghost , because it's showing how hardworking she is. She doesn't have any specific ideal type. As long as she likes him, it's enough.

The members once make a prank of her. They hide her phone, and she just okay with it until a month. The other day, They hide her iPod, and Sooya got panic until she cries , while searching it everywhere. After she found out, she got angry to them for a week.

She is a potential disser. She have several good-built hidden sacrasm words that can be spoken anytime she is got angry.

background » Choi Sooya was a girl with a sweet personality, at first. there was no sacrasm in her dictionary. her family is also nice, although they are not that rich, they live in happiness , three of them. there was until Sooya 10 years old.
When she was 10, her parents died due of accident in their own house. gas explosion. Sooya just about to enter the house when the accident happened, so she saved. just a little bruised here and there. The most fatal one is her scar on her back right hand that left permanently there, because she used her hand to cover her face from the flying window glass.
Since then, Sooya is having a phobia to a loud bang voice. She also can't be stay near a glaws or mirror for a long period of time. Sooya also moved to Apgujeong, taken care by her cousin, Cheon seung im or we all known as the well-known artist, Song Jihyo. But, although she lived with the famous actress, she still paid for her own living by herself. No, not becuase Jihyo don't want to pay it, but Sooya is trying to be more independent in her life. And that's when she know it, the world isn't as kind as she thought.
Many people judged her bad because of her status. People know her as a poor kid who got lucky to study into school which have a high quality. the high class school. Then she always being talked about. not being bullied, but people making distance at her. And she also noticed when netizen critizied Jihyo's almost- acting on 'Frozen Flower'.
Sooya, who can't saying anything out loud, only can save her dissapointed voice into words. Yeah, she start to write a poem. not a rhymitical one, but she keep writting whenever she want to explode. and with the writtings, she start to make some sacrasm sentences.
she kept doing her new hobby until she met Yuk Jidam on high school. She is the Senior while Jidam is still a freshman. Noticed Jidam also being left out like her, make her tried to approach Jidam. And just like that, those two become close.Because of that closeness, they can know each other hobbies. and that's the moment Sooya come into k-pop.
Sooya started to learn making rhymitical lyrics.
Other than a little notebook is in her 'must bring' item, she added a headphone and her iPod that she gathered from her part-time salary. she started to learn singing, that surprisingly, she have some talents on that. She have a unique voice. She also learned to dancing a bit. She started to pursue her dream : to make people enjoying my writtings, my songs.
And finally, she made it. on 2010, when she was 15(16 in korean age), she entered an audition in BigHit Entertaiment and passed. She made it into trainee. She also accepted into one of the best university in Seoul, taking music arrangement.

HOW THEY MET?

“hey guys, I’m bringing a new friend~” That’s what Hoseok said before he let Sooya come into BTS practice room. That was at the time for BTS preparing for their debut with ‘No More Dream’ . And that was the first time Sooya and Jin met. They don’t managed to talk to each other that day, because Jimin and V keep talking to her, which she answered that quietly. And Jin too focused on his dances moves , well.. that’s before Sooya said, loud enough.

 

“Sunbaenim that stands at the back keep wrong on her legs moves” . Well, it kinda embarrassing for Jin , because her hoobae is the one noticed that, so he approach her then…

 

“I have a name, it’s Kim SeokJin, or you can call me Jin. Okay, pretty?” he said that while patting Sooya’s head. Well, he doesn’t know why himself is acting like that, maybe because they’re his fellow members there, so he’s not feeling akward?

RELATIONSHIP -

After their first meeting, Sooya and Jin never talk again. Because those two are just too quiet. But , deep inside, Jin knows, what happened to Sooya during the trainee days.

He often caught her crying alone in the practice room late at night. Or her sad face when she saw the other trainee is having a hangout after practices. Slowly, Jin makes a move.

Being a good observant , she knows that Sooya likes cakes, especially cheesecakes. So he bought her cheesecake everyday. To make it not too obvious, he sometimes ask s to give it to her. He doesn’t know why did he do that, but after seeing her happy smiles while eating the cake, makes him happy too. Even Jin starts to learn baking which makes the members .

After that long of silence relationship, the chance finally come to Jin. Sooya left her notebook on the practice room. Jin, who used the practice room after him, took it and look what’s inside. Luckily, he just alone at that time. Sooya who panicked hurriedly go back to the practice room and found Jin , alone.

 

“S-sunbae… do you see… a green notebook?”

 

she said with her cracking voice , almost crying. Because Sooya already open a conversation, Jin easily following the conversations. He returned the book and have a little chit-chats with Sooya. He give a compliments to Sooya’s lyrics. From that little chit-chats, the conversations become more informal. That’s the starting point of them being close.

 

Jin asked Sooya to take part in making lyrics and she gladly accepted. Since then, he personally delivered a cheesecake for Sooya. He doesn’t need to ask someone to give it again, he gained some courage. He also start to make nicknames for her. Things gone well, until Sooya have to moved to SM. They keep contact with each other, but they rarely hang out together, because of BTS packed schedule. But Jin always spares some time to deliver a cheesecake to her, using a delivery services.
