appearance » mira looks just like how every typical teenage girl does off-stage. black eyes and double eyelids, usually sharpened by a sroke of eyeliner. her small lips are rarely covered with lipstick, but a lip balm will always be there since her lips are rather dry. she keeps her bangs long and her natural brown hair, well, brown. her long hair is always tied up into a ponytail without other pins or anything else. she's 165 cm tall and weighs 50 kg.
style » when going out, mira uses clothes that are easy to move in, shorts, t-shirts, leggings, tanktops, but never skirts. her all-time favorite get up is a crop top and overall. pastel fabrics are what she loves the most, soft pink, light blue, etc. she rarely uses accessories because she's afraid of losing it, though a pair of socks are always needed. sneakers are the love of her life, though she also likes a pair of flats combined with long socks.

      — hey stop putting that face on and tell me what's wrong, or else!  drag her to some crowded place and by 15 minutes mira will be laughing with some stranger. as a youngster, she is one of the trainees who has the most friends, friends that she really cares about. mira loves her friends, so much that she doesn't stand seeing them feel down. she comes off a bit harsh often, though on the inside she just wanted to make them feel better. others might think that mira is annoyed at them, but she really isn't. she is someone that wouldn't sleep at night if she knows someone is still hurt, may it be because of herself or even nothing related to her. mira welcomes everyone that comes to her for advices and even a shoulder to cry on, and will try her best to make everything better. she would encourage them and tell them that everything is okay until they calmed down, and then proceed to giving suggestions. though people who bable round and round without giving mira a chance to speak, that she can't stand of. her main goal is to help others but if they don't give her a chance, then might as well shoo them off. she is rather impatient and may not be the best person to be told to wait for longer than thirty minutes so they could wash their face first. nu uh. 
     — don't be too hard on yourself, c'mon chin up girl show them what you got. low self-esteem is what mira can't tolerate. being confident herself, she knows that everyone has the right to be proud of themselves. she is a girl who enjoys encouraging people surround her, and that's just another positive side of her endless-flowing confidence.
      — you look better with longer hair, but don't worry its not that bad. ask for any advice to mira, but not about your style. she is rather picky and her standards are pretty high. she may hold herself back when it comes to teary-eyed faces but she won't when she sees a fashion crisis. she claims herself as the fashion queen nicely but her comments doesn't come out nice, at all. if you haven't checked the latest trend or even try looking at some fashion magazine, do not go to mira unaccompanied. she'll talk non-stop for a whole hour, or even more.
     — oh my god no you just killed my precious. . . french fries. mira is a huge, huge fan of food. she adore them very much and she claims to always " take them to a better place " as she eats. she treats food like a living thing, and many people around her sometimes feels weirded out. honestly she's just plain weird. meeting new people, mira often calls them with food names that she sees is similar with the person's face. she'll immediately shout for example, "takoyaki!" to someone with chubby cheeks or even "pocky stick!" to a skinny person. though she doesn't mean to hurt anyone, it sometimes comes off a bit. . . rude. especially doing it on public. 
     — a new song?? lets learn it fast!! always excited for a new song and dance, mira is the girl who really wants to become an idol because its what she loves to do best. she is always so fiery when practicing, and it will be hard to stop her when she's too into it. though having to say this, she is rather clumsy - the clumsiest probably, when it comes to performing on stage. she's the member who often forgets a few parts, if not she is also the one that slips a lot on stage. mira is also forgetful off-stage. she often gets mixed up to where she places her wallet, phone, and other small important stuff.

      — i have always loved you, if only we had more time mira was born in a family with three kids, and being the youngest she was always spoiled by her parents. but as if toys and clothings wasn't enough for her, she craved for her two brothers's love. she would always seek attention, sometimes by hiding the brothers's stuffs, switching their pillows, etc. the two boys were always playing tricks on their little sister, and even though they got in to a row everytime mira cried, the boys kept on being annoying until mira reached her 15th birthday. mihoon thought that his little sister had probably sufferred enough, and so he decided to treat her better. the oldest and the youngest sibling finally got along well, while the middle child, miki, still refused to be friendly and chose to spend more time with his school friends. though at the age of 25, mihoon died in the sewol tragedy, leaving mira, miki, and their parents with a great shock. he was one of the crew in the ferry who couldn't save themselves because they were trying to calm the passengers down. just before mihoon left, he recorded a song for his family on his laptop, one for each of them. the one he made for mira was about how much he regretted for being a jerk, and that he'll take more care of her when he gets back. but he didn't. the event impacted miki the most, so drastically that he became close to mira. he knew how close mira and mihoon were, and was determined to be like his older brother. mira saw what he was doing and later on welcomed him warmly, the two spent more time together with their family, afraid of losing each other. 
      — friends? maybe yes, maybe not mira had been living in seoul her whole life. she had only went overseas once and it was back when she was 10 years old. little mira is always running around everywhere, and she made lots of friends during middle school. although she was outgoing, mira slowly grew quieter through high school. she tries to avoid most of her school friends, because they wanted to be friends with the singer's daughter and not mira the school girl, and she noticed it. though that being said, she still is the lively girl who greets everyone, just a bit more picky since some people have motives. it's not like she changed drastically, but she eventually found something she grew addicted to, which is the internet. she also has a lot of interest in social media, her favorite is probably instagram. taking pictures, editing them and then posting it really feels up mira's freetime. on the internet,  mira browsed simply everything about the entertainment world, knowing her father as a singer and her mother as an mc. like most of k-pop fangirls, mira found out about the korean music after watching several dramas starring k-idols. as easy as that, she became a fan of the girl group, f(x) and boy group, shinee. it wasn't a year after founding k-pop that mira decided to audition for sm entertainment.

» father | song sejin | 52 | retired singer, songwriter | gentle, loyal, sharp | a loving father with an incredible talent, but slightly stern of house rules. he encouraged mira a lot, especially when she said she wanted to jump into the entertainment world. practice sessions for mira should not be skipped, or else sejin will lecture her about how important training is to debuting. it might seem like he is quite an annoying father, but mira is really glad to know that her dad really cares for her, especially her future.
» mother| song nahee | 51 | mc, tv show host | humorous, lively, careless. cooking | humming, laughing is what nahee does best as a mother. she is the person who mira always goes to when she needs advices about school life, or even idol life. nahee is a bit careless, she sometimes throw the laundry into the trashcan, earning a scream from sejin and mira. she also forgets about where she puts certain stuff, only to blame it on the others. but nonetheless she is a smiley mother and everyone loves her.
» oldest brother | song mihoon | died at the age 25 | ferry crew, student | caring, responsible, self-involved | the one that comes off mature, he was a calm and composed brother to mira. although not much of a smart student, he, like his father, had the passion on song writing. mira loves him very very much as he had helped her going through highschool, therefore when he left, she was deeply saddened. 

» older brother | song miki | 23 | student, part-time tutor | observant, devoted, stubborn | a bit of an outcast in the family since he was outshined by his talented older brother, and his spoiled younger sister. though that being said, he did very well, the best actually, at school. he is smart, but also friendly to his schoolmates. his relationship with mira might not start up well despite being siblings, but they eventually became closer after the incident that took away mihoon.

» ex lovers(?), best friend | oh sehun | 21 | idol - exo | open, optimistic, outspoken | sehun and mira weren't officially claimed as lovers and so they're not really exes. they met at highschool and grew an interest for each other. sehun would buy her snacks randomly and mira would offer him english tutorings, they were this unofficial sweet pair in highschool. having to say that, the both of them knew it wasn't a happily ever after kind of love, it was really just for fun. they liked the attention they got from their school friends, some even wrote fanfics about them.

        — really? we should get to know each other more! chanyeol is the type of guy that wouldn't know a thing unless you throw it right at his face. but when he finally realizes something, he'd act like he's supposed to and do what he's supposed to. he's a friendly person that treats everyone nicely, but also someone who never forgets to have fun. he could be really playful and teasy at the same time, to the extent that it annoys some people.

       — i hate you. wait what - oh my god i love you so much!!!! when it rains, something inside chanyeol dies. along with his good mood. therefore, always remember to bring him some rilakuma stuff to cheer him up on rainy days or else he'd start saying he hates everyone and how much he hates life. but having to say all that, when he's in a good mood, he could be pretty hyper. still annoying, but in a more positive way. he changes moods drastically and in a short span of time, and that what makes people surround him feel amused often. 

        — don't you dare run away from, the yeol never ever EVER piss chanyeol off, or even try to leave him after setting a fire in his heart [ fire ooh ]. he's the type to actually run after you when the problem isn't solved yet, or when he's not done with you. he'll start blabbering about how hard he tries to be gentle but ended up loosing himself and stuff. he may be moody, but he calms down fast. depends on how you treat him and how you apologize, he'll probably be jumpy again the next day. chanyeol is a confident guy that believes he is capable of doing anything he wants. 

      — it could've been better if you listened to me his opinions are the best, says himself. well its not really that bad, sometimes its quite reasonable. but the fact that he pushes his opinions too much really annoys some of the people around him. chanyeol likes to think that everything will go smoothly if everyone follows what he says, but "wearing girl's make up so none will notice" while trying to sneak out with the other exo members. this is the attitude that mira hates the most of chanyeol. knowing how impatient she is, she really couldn't stand people that tells her what to do even when they're not being reasonable. the most arguments between mira and chanyeol would be about this one, how chanyeol thinks he's right while mira just doesn't care.

      — alright okay i'm sorry, i do trust you chanyeol doesn't like to argue for a long time even though he argues a lot. he doesn't have enough enery for negative things, and so if he was to argue with someone he'll end up accepting the blame. he'd apologize and then try to make everything better, may it be cheering the other person up or doing the things the other person wants. most of the times he'll come off too protective over mira that somehow they'll end up shouting at each other. but not liking a long argument, chanyeol would say sorry and finally trust her. although they were bickering, eventually they'll be joking and laughing again.

HOW THEY MET? - its a public secret that mira admires lots of guys in her life. her brothers are an easy example, but besides them she also had eyes on guys at school. mira would adore them not only from their visuals,back then she had eyes on a certain person called chanyeol, the senior with big " dazzling " ears as mira calls him. she likes to steal talks and start sudden conversations and at that time, chanyeol actually bought it as a friendly gesture. they would talk at lunch together, meet up at the library, and so on. when mira joined sm, which is a bit later after chanyeol, that's when chanyeol started to really see her.

" wait, mira right? since when are you a trainee here?"

" i, i joined just a couple of weeks ago, sunbaenim"
" really? wow we should hang out sometime!"
" if - if you say so, sunbae "

the two eventually did " hang out " for a few times that week, rap practice, lunch, even dance practices which the both of them are almost hopeless at. they also exchanged numbers and texted oftenly, joking around and what not. they were fine until chanyeol became busier preparing for his debut, that's where they sort of drifted apart.

RELATIONSHIP - the oblivious one in the relationship is obviously ( see what i did there ) chanyeol. mira knows if she likes someone, and she knows if she loves someone. thus for several times she dropped codes regarding her feelings, but being the same guy he is, chanyeol will dismiss it as a friends thing. mira noticed this, but shrugged it off and kept on trying to show him how much she cares. one thing chanyeol knows is that mira can be pretty rude to people, and that he is really concerned of. he would come to her, or even text her, reminding mira to stay calm at all times since she's a trainee and its important that she has a decent attitude.

when red velvet debuted and mira wasn't called, she couldn't help but to feel sad. she started thinking why she wasn't picked to debut, so chanyeol came into the frame and calmed her down. he told her that she shouldn't give up, and that was what she did. she practiced more of her dancing so she won't be as bad as she was, and chanyeol would often watch her practice when he's free or not promoting. it wasn't until mira and chanyeol stumbled at each other after a long time on the company, that she finally told him her feelings. that's when it hit chanyeol. the two shared a big, warm hug and even though they can't be official yet, they promised each other that they will someday. chanyeol immediately became protective, maybe too protective. he even asked yebin to watch over mira whenever mira's around boys. but still being oblivious, chanyeol still knows nothing about mira and sehun's past, until mira accidentally spilled about it.
