Things I Don't Understand About Korea/Koreans(please help!)

Disclaimer: None of this is meant to be offensive to Korean people nor their culture.

After watching videos and K-Dramas, I somehow get a view of the way Koreans act(in a way). But here are some things that I don't understand about them:

1. Why do Korean artists say they're making a "comeback" when they never really left?

2. Why is plastic surgery considered normal there?

3. Why are many actions that Westerners do are misunderstood?

4. Why is being bone thin considered beautiful there?

5. Why are many students from there VERY academically-inclined?

6. Why is their pronounciation messed up?

7. Why don't many Koreans bother to learn English?

These questions are all coming from 14 year old that doesn't know much, so feel free to tell me I'm wrong or answer one of the questions.

Well, they do have "Goodbye stages", so they do leave after they're done with a song.

Because Koreans are VERY superficial. They care a lot about appearances, so if you're "ugly", a lot of people (not all) look down on you there, and will not treat you very well.

They are close-minded about most things outside of their own culture.

Pretty much ties into answer #2

Parents are extremely strict there for 2 reasons: 1) competition for school entries are ridiculously fierce. 2) status symbol. If you're smart, get good grades, and get into a good school, people admire you. If you're not like that, then you bring shame to the family, and people look down on you.

Pronunciation of what? English? Same reason why non-Korean people's pronunciation of Korean is messed up. It's not their native language.

Actually, they do. It's just that many of their teachers .

Because the have money,they are ugly and they love beauty So... Actually 99% of their Idols did it few of them are natural like Sulli Krystal Siwon Heechul Sohee Kim kibum Lee minho Jang junsuk and lee hong ki ... etc

Because westerners are rude and rasists and they always make fun of asian people ..
4. Why is being bone thin considered beautiful there?
Men there like short and thin girls because most of them have the petite figure so the girls must be smaller than them ..
5. Why are many students from there VERY academically-inclined?
I don't know why
6. Why is their pronounciation messed up?
pronounciation in any toungue ??
7. Why don't many Koreans bother to learn English?
Because they don't have to ...
Why don't americans bother to learn korean ??
