soojung is a creative girl. she comes up with great ideas all the time. that's why she sometimes is a savior in bestiny. well, she is an artistic one too. she plays the piano, also the acoustic guitar and keyboard. she is also good at drawing. obviously, she can sing too!

soojung is also a genius girl. during her school years, from primary school to high school, she was always ranked first in the top student lists. scoring straight as is a common thing for her, she doesn't really care to study because she was born genius. seriously though, she didn't study.

other than that, soojung is also a clingy person. if she had a boyfriend, she would stick with him all the time, doing fun activies with him. she loves cuddling so much, she also gets jealous easily since she is a "clingy" person. if you want to be her boyfriend, you have to treat her like a queen. she's not a bad girlfriend afterall.

lastly, she is a loud person. yups, a very loud person. she won't stop talking. she hates this about herself too, she wished she would stop talking but she can't do anything, she was born that way. she has to appreciate herself like how she always appreciate her face when she's standing in front of the mirror.

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

soojung was born in goyang, south korea on march 12, 1994. when she was five years old, she started to learn the piano because her parents wanted her to do so. she hated learning it. after two years, she was already good at playing the piano, she started to love it eversince. when she was six years old, her passion for singing started to grow too. it happened when her old friend, sumin brought her to join the vocal class. she started to love singing eversince too.

as for her high school, she attended the seoul performing arts high school, she was forced to join a dance crew because it was out of members, she joined although she wasn't that good. luckily, there was a senior who helped her a lot, they started to become best friends eversince. not a long time after, she found out that the senior of hers is oh sehun, her brother's soon to be groupmate. sehun and her became best friends too.

in year 2012, their school had a talent show so she performed "taeyeon - set me free", she got scouted by bighit right after she performed. she agreed to audition so she asked for at least two months to practice. after two months, she auditioned for bighit entertainment by singing to their boygroup's song "2am - i did wrong". luckily, she was accepted and now she is a trainee.

well, her trainee life has been great since she first got into bighit. the other trainees are helpful, the seniors are also helpful. it is stressing though how she is forced to practice a lot even though she is tired, they have no mercy so you really have to work hard. as for her predebut experiences, she only performed her singing skill once, during the talent show, the day she got scouted. but, she ever performed her dancing skill along with the other members of the dance crew that she joined. she has also performed her piano skill once during her primary school year. the others i have listed in the trivia; was in war of hormone and beautiful's mvs.

they're very close, they're best friends who met during high school where sehun helped her a lot with her dancing skill. they were in the same dance crew, they started to get close since before soojung even found out that sehun is her brother's soon to be group mate. sehun and her always go to each other's house, soojung's family love sehun and sehun's family love soojung. sometimes, their parents joke about them getting married too.

both of them are still close as hell. they still call each other at night, sometimes they hang out to but they have to be in disguise because sasaengs everywhere. they want to be in a relationship but cannot since soojung is going to debut soon and both of them aren't allowed to date, yet. sehun wants to wait for soojung, soojung wants to wait for sehun too. both of them always tell their memories during variety show.

as stated, met during high school and he helped her a lot. they were schoolmates. well, everyone in their school knew about them being so close because they were best friends during high school years, she was based a lot but sehun helped her. no one can damage their friendship.
