Detailed tattoos defined his biceps and several earrings pierced holes in his ears. Pale skin that lit up in moonlight and dark hair that stole the sunlight. He was terrifying even though he was hardly considered an adult. He was everybody's worst nightmare. His name even sounded ominous and brought shivers to the spines of the very people who knew him.

Seohyun had heard the stories. He was supposed to be tall and mysterious, someone to be avoided at all costs. She'd been warned about JungKook, but she couldn't help but be so intrigued by him. Really, it was only natural to want to explore such an enigma, right? Forget what the others said. He was so interesting and magnificent. The others had no idea how much it was eating her alive to figure out what he was.

"I don't understand what you're talking about. You make no sense," Seohyun whimpered, running her fingers through her hair. JungKook sighed and brushed the tears from her cheeks.

"I'm not supposed to make sense now, goddamn it. You assume that just because you're frustrated, I'm going to feel bad for you and give you all the answers? No, Honey, you have to figure the puzzle out yourself. I already know the answer," he told her.

"Why can't you give me the answer?"

He chuckled lowly and brought his lips to her ear. "Because that's not how the game works, Darling."
