First Impression: To be honest, Jay never actually paid much attention to Miyeong when they first arrived at the shrine. All he knows is that she is a fellow worker whom she will spend the summer with. After becoming gods and godesses, Jay helped out Miyeong in many ways which allowed him to realize how quiet she is and how she she only say things that needed to be said. He also notice how she is also very sensitive to people's feeling and shows her caring side very often. This lead Jay to notice her more as she reminded him or a stereotype mother which is just one kind of personality he loves the most in the world.

First Date: Since Jay is in business major and Miyeong is in mathematic, the two decided to join together one day to study math so their skill won't get rusty. Since they want some quiet place to study, the two decided to study in a person's bedroom which ended up to be in Miyeong's since she lost to a game of rock, paper, scissor. The two arrived there and they started studying. Even though Jay said it was fine and such, he was still new to the enviroment called " a girl's room". Yes he had been in his sister's room a couple of times but he never went into any girl's room. Of course on the other hand Miyeong was just focusing on her work until Jay noticed her caligraphy work and asked her to show it to him. Since Jay loves learning about people, he finds it interesting to learn about Miyeong who was the quietest among the girls. She took out her tools and wrote Jay's name and gave it to him as a gift. From there on, the two dot distract and talked more about their likes and dislikes which shows that the two were very different but also their differences filled in each other's hole. After that study date, Jay and Miyeong would constantly study together rotating rooms.

First Kiss: It was Christmas eve and the 6 of them gathered to celebrate the holiday. They were finally allowed out of the shirne to buy gifts for secret santa and they have wine and beer ready for the party. knowing that he was never good with alchol, Jay tried to stay away from it however, Cirino suggested a drinking game where he tricked the tricky Jay to drink. Not knowing the effect, they forced it own his throat and after one shot, Jay was completely drunk. The next time Jay opened his eyes was the morning of Christmas day. He and the 4 was lying in the room where they held the party and everyone was a mess. Minjoo came into the room after washing up and stared at Jay as if something went wrong. Indeed something did but Jay just couldn't remember it at all. Then Lina and Cirino woke up and started saying things like "dude! why did you do that!" and "What were you thinking?" Still being a little dizzy, the two fell down again leaving Jay and Minjoo the only one awake in the room. Minjoo signed and finally asked, "Do you even remember what happened?" Jay looked at him in confusion and simply said no. Minjoo signed and wanting no trouble for himself he told Jay to ask Miyeong who actually returned to her room after the party. Jay was still confused but decided to wash off then find Miyeong. After coming out of the shower, he found Miyeong in the kitchen with a pot of instant noodle trying to release the hangover. Jay casually sat down across from her and he could tell her face turning red as he sat down. Jay observed her until she asked what did he need and Jay bluntly asked about last night. Miyeong blushed bright red and studdered as she try to say what happened but she suddenly realize that he didn't remember anything at all. Just by saying it was nothing, Miyeong changed the subject however, Jay could feel that Miyeong was a bit upset and disappointed at the fact that he did not remember but he didn't dare to ask again. After returning to the male side of the dorm, he dashed into Cirino's room, who is now wide awake, and demanded him to tell him what happened or else he will reveal some nasty secret about him. Being forced to say it, Cirio revealed that Jay proposed to Miyeong last night as if he wasn't drunk at all and sealed it off with a kiss on the lips. Jay stood in silent and looked up at the ceiling blankly thinking about nothing. Around this time Minjoo came over and saw the blank Jay as if he was looking at himself. Jay told Minjoo to "slap him" and to his surprise, Minjoo does slap him and Cirino's jaw dropped in shock and they thought Minjoo was mad at him for real however, Minjoo just said it was becuase he thought Jay meant it. After being slapped, Jay was back to his normal self and dashed off to find Miyeong. He found Miyeong in the garden with Kayoung and Jay just went to grabbed Miyeong to her feet and said "we need to talk" and stromed off with Miyeong. Kayoung was about to shout to him but Minjoo came and and stopped her by placing a finger on her lips and saying a slight sh. Jay took Miyeong to his room and closed the door shut behind him. He turned around and saw a red Miyeong who didn't dare to look at him in the eyes. He called out to her but she still refuse to look up. Jay went over and cupped Miyeong's face and forced her to look at him.When she finally calmed down a little, Jay fell down on his knees and lowered his head and shouted "I'm sorry!" and said something along the lines "I am sorry about what happened last night and I know it cause you great embrassment. However, I do wish you would forget it all not because i regret saying those words but I want to say those words again with all my heart and honesty. I know it is very sudden but Go Miyeong, would you possibly want to start our journey toward those words together?" He looked up and saw Miyeong filled with tear and nodded yes. Jay got up and embraced Miyeong and gave her a gentle kiss and thus a couple is born.

Skinship: Yes, he does back-hugs a lot and would rest his head on her neck too. Even though he doesn't really like public affection, Jay would still hold hands and kiss when he knows its only the two of them.

Why: Miyeong once mistook Jay's little sister as someone who likes Jay because they were really close but since they don't look alike at all, Miyeong didn't know that she was actually his sister.

Secne Requests: Jay telling Miyeong about his birth mother and the name "Lee Kangji" which is when she is allowed to use that name, Meeting his sister for the first time and Jay's secrets were revealed to outsider for the first time, Miyeong and Jay met one of Jay's ex (Soo Minghee) and Miyeong became curious about what Jay was like before they met cause appearently he "changed" a lot (cared about gf more compared to before)
