AKB48 vs Nogizaka46 Wrestling Fanfic: Episode 1 - IdolMania, A New Era Begins (IdolMania VI)

AKB48, a popular idol group in the world, supported by millions all around the world. They had many records as being the World's Most Largest Group, with now having more than 300 members including the members from sister groups locally in Japan as well as international members in Shanghai and Jakarta. AKB48 has their own rival, Nogizaka46, establishing 6 years after the formation of AKB48. 

With the experience of AKB48, will they overcome the obstacle to beat Nogizaka46? Or will Nogizaka46 will create an upset and overtake their rivals once and for all? Welcome to the fanfic that will decide it all, as together, we explore the journey on the road to find out the best idol group the 48&46 group.

11th June XX01 - AKB48 IdolMania VI

Match 1: AKB48 Undergirls World Championship - Kizaki Yuria (c) vs Iwatate Saho

Kizaki Yuria, former SKE48 member transferred to AKB48 as part of undergirls. Iwatate Saho is one of the fan favourites to be the future ace of the undergirls. However, Kizaki denies the fact and challenged Iwatate to a match at IdolMania to prove once and for all that she is the best undergirl-based idol in the entire 48 group.

Thus, the match happened, Kizaki Yuria was strong against her junior, but the determination of Iwatate did not stop. The crowd just chanted for Iwatate which made her fired up like Hulk Hogan would. After a while, the tables were turned against Kizaki Yuria, as she finds herself struggling to keep up with the pace, and then Iwatate took advantage with the SAH-HO Slam, and became the new AKB48 Undergirls World Champion in a match that lasted 14 minutes 11 seconds.

Match 2: Nogizaka46 World Championship - Kuroishi (c) vs Nishino Nanase

Kuroishi, the dark side of the fierce-type idol Shiraishi Mai, took on against one of the most dominant aces in Nogizaka46, Nishino Nanase for the Nogizaka46 World Championship, a prestigious title that resembles a centre position in a senbatsu. It was a fierce fight in the beginning, expected from two of the best in Nogizaka46. The crowd around Saitama Arena are just loving the sight that they are seeing. It was so intense that neither both of the idols go down easily. After sometime, Nishino Nanase and Kuroishi both collapse in the ring, and both idols stood up together before the referee could count 20. 

The two started slapping each other before Kuroishi delivered an elbow towards Nishino's head, but Nishino was not ready to lose on the grandest stage. She kicked out at 2 3/4. Nishino Nanase managed to get back up and delivered the Crossline from Hell, and became the new Nogizaka46 World Champion in a match that lasted 26 minutes 21 seconds.

Match 3: Money In The Bank Ladder Match (Winner Gets Opportunity for AKB48 World Championship shot at anytime throughout the coming year)

It was time for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, with 6 participants fighting for the right to earn a contract for a shot at the AKB48 World Championship. The contestants are Matsui Jurina, Takahashi Minami, Yamamoto Sayaka, Yagura Fuuko, Ikoma Rina and Chikano Rina. It was a very brutal match, with several tables, and ladders broken. Matsui Jurina was so close in getting the briefcase before Yamamoto pushed the ladder and Matsui fell off from 25 meters straight into 2 tables. The NMB duo Yamamoto and Yagura were fighting on top for the briefcase before Ikoma Rina pushed the ladder, making the NMB duo landed crashing onto the announcers' table. Ikoma Rina then climbed the ladder and became The Money In The Bank Idol.

Match 4: AKB48 Legends vs AKB48 Newbreed - Maeda Atsuko & Oshima Yuko vs Takahashi Juri & Kawaei Rina

The upcoming newbreeds of AKB48, Takahashi Juri and Kawaei Rina offended the legends Maeda Atsuko and Oshima Yuko. It was a lot of talk smack before the match.

Takahashi Juri: "You seniors have nothing to do with AKB48 now! You will all be forgotten and we will be the one dominating AKB48 from now on!"

Maeda Atsuko: "Well if it wasn't for us building AKB48, you won't even become idols, you idiot!!"

The crowd went laughing and cheering, but then suddenly Kawaei ambushed Oshima and the match began. The legends were total domination throughout the match, and were victorious easily at the end of the match after just near 7 minutes. At the end of the match, Takahashi and Kawaei bowed down in respect to the two great legends and a round of applause were heard throughout the arena to show appreciation to the two greatest icons in AKB48 history.

Main Event: AKB48 World Championship: Yokoyama Yui (c) vs Shimada Haruka

It was time for the main event of the night, for the AKB48's biggest prize, the AKB48 World Championship between two of the most dominant forces in AKB48 wrestling history. Yokoyama Yui who have already defended her title for 256 days, going against Shimada Haruka, a 4-time World Champion, it was one match not to be missed. It started out as a show-off match, as both idols went on a strength and speed contest with couple of grapling as well as speed moves. After about 5 minutes, it started to get intense. 

Yokoyama Yui began giving Shimada a taste of her dominance as she began dominating the match, showing her that it is not easy to defeat the champion. But Shimada managed to kick out every pinfall that Yokoyama Yui made. 3 Yokoyama Elbows and 2 Y-Cutters were not enough to put the giant down. In the end, the 3rd Y-Cutter was delivered and Yokoyama emerged victorious after a wonderful match that lasted 28 minutes 13 seconds.
