It's pretty late where I'm living yet sleep can't win against me. My mind is rushing and my heart is at a standstill, and I needed to get things off my chest. So here it goes...

Most of you must have heard about season 4 of Show Me The Money and I'm a hundred percent sure you know that Song Mino will be competing in it. To say that I am looking forward to it is an understatement. I am buzzing in my seat (er, bed?) and impossibly excited to see him in his element. Yet I also feel like a wife seeing her husband march into war and not even having the slightest idea if he'll come out alive or not.

Do not get me wrong, I have unbelievable respect for Song Mino and the rest of Winner. In fact, I've once said how underrated Winner is as an idol group. They have immensely talented writers and performers; and Song Mino is no exception. So when I read the article about him competing in SMTM4, I was happy for him and quite proud too. Because he has found a venue to showcase what he is capable of. But then I thought, why would he be competing if he had already debuted? And it hit me. Was he trying to prove something?

Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe he just wanted to prove to himself that he really was skilled in rap. Maybe he wanted to prove to fans that he wasn't just the charming, funny Mino who did wrote good rap lyrics to ballads. Maybe he wanted to prove his worth to those who doubted him. Or maybe, just maybe, he wanted to show people who he really was. Who Song Minho, the rapper,Hugeboy, was. Maybe. I don't know. I am only just a fan. But whatever his reasons are, if he has one, I hope he is able to fulfill it.

The show won't be airing until June but from now on, I will support him on this 'new' venture. I will always have the same respect, if not more, for Song Mino's artistry and his ability to yield strong emotions and ideas from his lyrics. I love Song Mino, the artist then, I love him now and I am pretty sure I will love him after.So to SONG MINHO and whoever you are reading this, you have my vote. Whether you're out to prove something to yourself or to the rest of the world or just want to return to your roots, at the end of the day, all I really wish is for you to be happy and fine. Because you are an amazing artist and I admire you for that. xx
