So…I read through chapters 1-9 of Circling Fireflies yesterday. It was my first time reading through the whole thing at once, instead of seeing it in little sections. Wow, was the text formatting all over the place! (I fixed that, btw. It should be a lot better now.) But I wanted to get a sense of how the published BIg Picture looks, because I've drifted a bit from my original plan for the plot. Whenever I write YunJae together in a scene, they run away with the story. OTZ

Or I get distracted by dirty thoughts.

TBH, I'd planned for the misunderstanding between Yunho and Jae to go on longer, but when I started writing chapter 9, I realized it didn't work. It wasn't true to their characters. I've tried to show that Jae will lie to others, but is painfully honest with himself. Whereas Yunho is honest with others, but boy does he lie to himself. But when they get together, it cancels out and they get to the truth—they're YunJae! So it made sense that they'd talk it out. But it messes up my plotting.

We're getting close to the end of Part 1 of Fireflies, so I have to make sure we stay on target. I'm almost done with ch 10, and I think I've managed to get the story back where it should be. Fingers crossed! In any case, some big reveals coming up soon. I'm excited for them. ^^
