Hangeng in Starship?

Entertainment agency Starship Entertainment has announced their plans to enter the Chinese Market.

In an official statement released on April 7, Starship announced, “We have signed a mutual contract with Yuehua Entertainment on April 6.” With this newly-minted contract, the two entertainment companies will mutually manage their artists in both countries, expanding their business into dramas, films, and other ventures.

Starship further added, “We will be doing our best to speed up our advancement into the Chinese market with Yuehua’s production and marketing abilities. We are also planning on managing Yuehua’s stars to help them become stars in Korea. Our partnership and the synergy will be valuable resources in eventually entering the global market.”

Starship Entertainment, founded in 2008, is home to artists like Sistar, K.Will, Mad Clown, Junggigo, and Boyfriend. Yuehua, established in 2009, is home to popular Chinese artists like former Super Junior member Hangeng, as well as rookie idol group UNIQ.

Aw I'm hoping he can somehow get back into the Korean market but I do think like what ElleJacobs said he really is doing so much better over in China. Plus, he seems happier there to from all I've looked up ^^ Not to mention his acting career is booming like crazy <3

Not exactly, YG has already been having a contract with Yuehua. And what Starship's deal is no different since it was YG that helped create UNIQ and lead them into the Korean market. Really all Yuehua is is the Chinese counterpart of Avex or Music Universal in Japan. It's just a middleman to help them promote their artists in the country they're based in. Hangeng has already had a few chances to come back, I just don't think he wants to since he has a GREAT thing going on currently in China.
