appearance — Hyehyun's hair is straight and rather black (at least to her). She has pretty full lips and she considers her eyes small. Her make-up is usually very light and her trademark is her dark pink-red lipstick. Oh and she usually has her hair up in a bun. She would also like to try out reddish-brown hair after debut. However, as neat as she is, Hyehyun often forgets to comb her hair after waking up so it's usually in a complete mess until she gets to the salon. The hair stylists often complain that Hyehyun doesn't take care of her hair well enough for comfort.

fashion style — She's one who really cares about her dressing- you'll probably never see her dress sloppily, even in the dorms. She makes sure to take care of her image and clothes. She loves fashion a lot- which is why she decided to major in fashion when she entered University. Hyehyun's style consists of mostly blue clothing. She's extremely fond of dresses that are blue. Basically, her style is very girly and blue (as in the colour). Her dressing is very cute and innocent, making her look younger than she actually is. Her dressing is also never complete without her heels. Her dresses for some reason always have at least one bow. She also has a tendency to pick a dress if it's cute, or if it has lace- the bow is an added bonus. She also has many pairs of heels- she can't live without them- okay she has some sneakers here and there but most of her shoes, are heels. They range from platforms all the way to sneaker heels. She has a massive amount of clothes- so many that they couldn't fit into the dorm- as a result, she decided to leave those that she didn't have much chemistry with at her old apartment, and take only those that she loved- including the kimonos. ♚ The Perfect Girl – The Yamato Nadeshiko.

This was how everyone saw the young Fujiwara Michiyo. She was polite and docile ( she still is- until you make her angry )- just the way her parents wanted her to be. She was never a wild child- she listened and follwed every single word her parents said- and that pleased them a lot. Michiyo was trained as a child to become a Yamato Nadeshiko- the Idealized Japanese Woman. She was expected to be well-behaved, disciplined and well-educated, so that she would be able to get a good job, and find a good husband. For this outcome to take place, her parents were really strict with her, so she eventually became strict as well as uptight. Due to this, Michiyo became a perfectionist, fated to achieve perfection no matter what the situation. She has become strict, not only with herself, but with others as well. She expects nothing less than perfect from her members and will take no excuses. Being well-behaved meant that she had to keep her emotions under a tight lock with no outlet. She became devoid of emotions and because she didn't speak much, she was unable to express herself properly. Yet, Hyehyun found a way to accurately express her inner feelings- and that was through dance. Dance was her only outlet and she loved it more than anything. Being raised to be well-behaved also meant that she was always expected to be on her best behaviour- so that she would embarrass her family. As a result, she's become extremely intolerant of bad behaviour and constantly tries to remind her members to behave themselves when they're in public, so that they wouldn't ruin their images. She tends to be pretty uptight about this.

Due to her face being devoid of emotions, people often believe that Hyehyun herself is emotionless- since she tends not to express her inner feelings because she's not the best at it. She was always called the "No Reaction Girl" back when she studied in Japan and all the way till high school. It never really bothered Hyehyun whether or not people gossiped about her for her apparent lack of emotions because she didn't care. At that point of time, all she ever cared about was pleasing her parents. She wanted nothing more than to see that they were happy with her- even for a split second.

♚ The Secret Side – You’ll never imagine it.

Hyehyun only recently discovered this side of her after she met Heiryung and transferred to Woolim. She tends to be slightly noiser and relaxed around her friends, and can often be seen crack weird and dumb jokes. She feels that even though she usually has trouble expressing herself around people, she has learnt that her friends would be there for her, no matter what. This has led her to be more open around them and she gradually became a lot happier and expressive. It was all thanks to them. Also, because her birthday is on April Fools Day, she has this habit of going on pranking sprees with Haneul and Sungyeol. Note that this only started after she joined Woolim. She has fun there, honestly and she prefers it so much more than SM.

Hyehyun has always retained her pleasantness and calmness since young. She approaches problems with both caution and calmness- it is something many have always admired her for. No matter what the situation, you'll only see a serene look on Hyehyun's face as she addresses the issue. Being rasied by her parents taught her to learn how to deal with problems and people effectively and effortlessly. Yet, her experience of deling  with people alo came from her grandmother, Aika. Aika used to a Geisha which means artist or entertainer. Hyehyun used to spend a lot of time in her grandmother's inn, helping out with the escorting of guest, cooking, etc even though she was young. From there, she learnt how to deal with difficult customers nad how to react in different situations. As such, she's pretty adverse in dealing with people and problems- which is why she's usually the one who breaks up fights between members. She knows exactly which buttons to push to calm them down- but, she tends to wait until the last minute before intervening- she prefers to assess the situation before stepping in. If she believes that the members will be able to make up on their own, she will just sit and wait until she's really needed.

Hyehyun doesn't anger very easily but if you break any rules, misbehave in public, are rude to senior, etc, she gets angry- and she becomes very harsh and scary. For example, if the members curse continuously, she'll threaten to glue their lips together with super glue. That is exactly how intolerant of bad behaviour she is. She scolds the members quite often because of their language but she does it for their own good- she doesn't want them to destroy their image as idols. Yet, she is often misunderstood because of this- the members have yet to understand that every thing Hyehyun does is for their good. She puts others before herself too much but no one really understands that. She worries a lot for her members but they're often annoyed by her constant worrying and nagging. Despite this, Hyehyun still genuinely cares for her members and thinks of them as the sisters she never had. She really wants all of them to be close so that they could understand and relate to each other better. As such, she's always trying to set up bonding sessions for the group so that they can get to know each other better- because it's not a secret that many groups started out with internal wars between everyone. Hyehyun doesn't want to see her group that way.

When she was first tasked in being the leader, she had a lot of troubles because she didn't know how to handle the kids as since she was young, Hyehyun has always been the submissive and obedient party. She didn't know how to stand up for herself which is a major issue because that means that she's someone who's easy to push around. Sure, she's a responsible kid but that doesn't necessarily mean that she can make a good leader. She only knows how to be the follower, not the leader. Despite this, she persisted and sought help from Sunggyu. Hyehyun is still learning how to be a good leader but she believes that she will one day lead her group to the fame they deserve.

♚ KAWAII! – What? Can’t I like cute things too?

Hyehyun, oh Hyehyun, just loves cute things way too much. It can range from bows to even people. She would start spazzing the moment she sees something cute and starts screaming “KAWAII!” really loudly- well, you definitely don’t want to be near her when she does that. In the case of people and aegyo, you really shouldn't do any in front of her because she WILL pinch your cheeks really hard until you start tearing from the pain. No, I'm really serious- almost anyone who knows Hyehyun would have suffered at least once.

Ji Hyehyun or Fujiwara Michiyo was born in Kyoto Prefecture, specifically the Gion district, Japan on April 1, 1992. Being near the sea, she has a strange connection to water, thus earning her the nickname 'Water Child' from her friends, which later grew on her everywhere she went. As a young child, Hyehyun was forced to behave like a proper lady and be like a Yamato Nadeshiko. Being the obedient child she was, she accepted it and did as her parents wished (lol see what I did there /slapped/). They kept her in all the time, seldom letting her out and the only time she went out was literally for school. As she grew up, she became really depressed because of her caged up life. However, she did eventually find solace in something- singing.

Hyehyun's paternal grandmother, was a kind old lady who loved Hyehyun with all her heart- unlike her parents. She took pity on Hyehyun and really took care of her the best way she could. Her grandmother used to be a olden day Geisha, so she was trained in the traditional dances, instruments, singing, etc. So, she decided to pass it on to Hyehyun. Hyehyun, being deprived of many other things, enjoyed this little bit of leisure and eventually grew on singing. Well, she did try to take up the traditional instrument and dancing secretly with her grandmother but when her parents found out, they immediately stopped her grandmother from ever visiting Hyehyun again so, Hyehyun fell into depression once again. Hope rose again for Hyehyun when she saw a DBSK performance was in 2003, when she was 11. She saw the way they could captivate an audience and was inspired by them. She tried talking to her parents about becoming an idol but was rejected because her parents wanted her to follow in their footsteps and get a job that was reputable rather than a job where she couldn't have a guaranteed future.

However, luck was on Hyehyun's side because her family decided to move to Seoul due to her mother's wish of wanting to be back in her home country ( and also because her mother didn't want her to associate with her grandmother anymore ). Her father agreed and they moved to Korea in 2005 when she was 13. The week after she landed in Korea, she literally flew to the SM building to audition. She wasn't the most prepared but she decided to just wing it at the audition. Of course, she was nervous but a boy named Kim Joonmyun comforted her and told her to do her best. She sang to "Say My Name' by Destiny's Child (oh how she loves that group) and surprisingly got in because she wowed the judges with her strong voice.

She trained secretly for about three years or so. However, her parents started noticing how suspicious their daughter was becoming and they hired a private investigator to tail her around. When they found out she was a trainee for SM Ent. for a long period of time, they was absolutely furious. They theatened her and said many nasty things to her but Hyehyun stood her ground. She refused to quit and her parents locked her up in her room to 'reflect on her actions'. That was the night that Hyehyun decided to run away from home. She packed up her bags and with all the money she had been stashing up for the past few years, she unlocked her window and left the house forever. They disowned her after this incident.

Hyehyun was pretty upset- and she beat herself up for the trouble she caused her parents ( even if she hated them ) but she tried to continue with her life, since she had also met a new friend then, Jung Heiryung. Heiryung was pretty adamant about getting Hyehyun to snap out of it and stop feeling sorry towards the people who were more like strangers than parents. She suggested that Hyehyun made some changes in her lifestyle, the first being, leaving SM Entertainment for a new label. That was in 2008. Heiryung, who was also an SM trainee at that time, suggested that they went to a smaller and less well known label- and she chose Woolim for some odd  reason- but nonetheless, the two friends still transferred to said label, after auditioning of course.

There at Woolim, Hyehyun really did get a fresh start- she realized that Woolim was much more relaxed then SM- she didn't hve to worry about being the best or competing against the other trainees because everyone there respected each other's talents, unlike the SM trainees. She was respected there too, being one of the older trainees. She met a new friend there too- Hwan Haneul who was a dancer. She grew close to the younger girl easily because of her outgoing personality- plus, the girl was a dancer so they really bonded. Haneul was also the one who made her open up more to others, even introducing her to other people (be it by accident or not) and Hyehyun really began to enjoy her time there and soon became friends with almost everyone. She carried an air of charisma and confidence that made younger trainees want to be like her. She trained even harder there though, because she knew she would have an even higher chance of debuting under Woolim and that gave her the strength to continue. As a result, she finally debuted in HERA as it's Leader- though who would have thought that she'd still end up under SM?.

It was mostly calm. Being one of the trainees who have been training for a longer period of time, she was a highly respected sunbae- plus she was good friends with Joonmyun and for those who have seen her angry side, they warn others about how scary she can be so they mostly keep away from her- with the exception of this idols who have already debuted- they're pretty comfortable around her. It was a whole different story in Woolim though- the kids were crazy, and Hyehyun found herself become lost in their craziness and eventually joining them as well.

personality — Sunggyu is a good leader who knows when to joke and when to be serious. You can tell the group respects him. Yeah they make fun of him, but when Sunggyu really means something they listen. At the same time, he’s not a funsucker either, he lets them joke around. Though occasionally he’ll realize lines are being crossed, even if he is the one directly involved in the shenanigans, and just stop what he is doing with the most serious face (I love when that happens). He’s a jokester himself, but he is also very well-spoken and has a sense of humour that is charming rather than offensive. He also tends to make fun of other members, but if the tables turn on him he puts an end to their fun, which is so cute.

relationship — They started off a little awkwardly because of their meeting but they hit off pretty well after a short while. They are always messaging each other and meeting whenever they can. I can imagine Sunggyu complaining to Hyehyun every time s make fun of him or and she'd be there comforting him, telling him that it's okay and that he's fine the way he is. When Hyehyun debuted, Sunggyu seriously threw a huge party for her, much to her displeasure because she felt that he didn't need to. Sunggyu usually takes part in Hyehyun's birthday pranks and together, they're one scary pair of dictators- no really. You wouldn't expect Sunggyu to be one who'd be infaturated by a girl but Hyehyun's got him wrapped around her finger. He would do almost anything she tells him to- oh and he's always trying to get Hyehyun to stop speaking so formally to him- because he finds it weird that she can shorten peoples' name but can't speak informally with them. They also tend to gossip a lot about their members- like how they're always disrespected or teased, or how their members always misbehave, etc.

I actually have thought of a way to develop the story of Hyehyun and her parents- along with Sunggyu so I hope you don't mind me putting it here. Personally, I think it can be used when the drama in the story unfolds. Here it is:

So basically, after more than five years without contact, Hyehyun's parents return to Korea to take their daughter back. Initially, they didn't want to take her back but after they actually saw her debut on TV, they decide that she is worth their time again and they will try to take her out of the entertainment world so she can inherit the hospital and they had also set her up for an arranged marriage with one of their business partner's son. However, Hyehyun puts up a huge protest about leaving the group and rejects all 'love' and 'affection' her parents are suddenly showering her with. She gets frustrated with them so she turns to Sunggyu for comfort and advice. After that, their feelings for each other somehow start to grow even more and they enter a new level of their relationship. In between everything that is happening among Sunggyu and Hyehyun, her parents are still trying to persuade Hyehyun to come back to them. Time lasp (you can decide what happens in between) and Sunggyu and Hyehyun have gotten together so they decide to confront her parents together. You can decide what happens after that and the ending.
