— unlike most of the high school jocks he knew back then, quentin's ungodly figure still remains lanky, a disgrace to the whole men population for not having muscles and a physique girls would drool over, adds his twin brother. his hair is a color of sand blonde and his eyes are described as a shade of hypnotic pale blue. quentin doesn't settle for any style in particular. sometimes, he may wear a suit, but mostly, he wears a lot of collared long-sleeved shirts, a coat and a pair of his trusty 'ol jeans, mostly in blacks and blues. he completes his look with a pair of vans and his signature cancer stick hanging by his lips or a bottle of alcohol in his hands.

- for starters, quentin d'amato comes off as cool, comical and irresistably captivating with the way he smoothly strings his sentences and how his eyes brightens up each time he talks about queen. it was said that quentin gives remarkable advice to people who needs either just a listening ear and a shoulder or simply just the dialectic between acdc's newest album or the pistols. HE HAS A MIND OF HIS OWN AND HE'S NOT AFRAID TO TRY OUT NEW, liberal FOREIGN IDEAS THAT PEOPLE ARE AGAINST. quentin is considered 'the coolest of the coolest', with him being the calmest and most mature of the bunch in reckless records. he's sensible enough to consider other people's feelings and ideas above him and takes in opinions and suggestions in a more serious manner. DESPITE displaying his usual friendly self, not everyone knows that he could take on a more RESERVED AND STRICT SIDE OF HIS OWN. one that takes no nonsense and is the kind of principled and disciplined man that upholds his family's name while being himself and not what his family wants him to do.
his family is always his priority, and he places them before him and anyone else. if possible, quentin does his best to avoid conflict, that is until you get on his nerves by either insulting his family or ridiculing homoual people. as corny and cringe-worthy as it sounds, he is honorable, in terms of upholding just for anyone and is never hesitant in standing up for himself even if it means defying authority and going against the odds. all in all, he is seemingly described as the perfect man but he isn't. if anything, he thinks he's greedy, with a dash of overconfidence. it is, without a doubt, that sometimes, he thinks he deserves somewhere better than a small shop like reckless records, perhaps something along the lines of actually being together with the son of music town. he isn't passive, but aggressive.

- quentin d'amato was raised by his single father, ben d'amato alongside with his older twin brother by 3 minutes, quinton d'amato. from young, they weren't kept in the dark from the fact that their mother abandoned them at the young tender age of 2, whilst she ran off to chase her dreams of being a rich man's wife. naturally, the twins were mad and made their mother their first taboo to never mention of her in the house. despite that, they were contented with just having males around the house and they too found the perks of it. no woman and their moody, fickle temperament that gets worst during a certain time of a month, no having to see bras and hanging in the backyard. just plain 'ol briefs and boxers and everything manly. one of his fondest times were sing-along karaoke sessions in the car with the men of the household; jamming to air supply, the pistols, acdc, queen and madonna.
- there wasn't much to take particular note about in quentin's elementary to high school days, other than having is name mixed up with his brother's and having his name spelled and pronounced as "quintin", which sounds extremely stupid, in his opinion. on the other hand, quinton was having the time of his life with the jocks and having an equally aesthetic-like body that would bring all the girls to the yard. fast forward to quentin's current life, he's presently studying at the university of chicago with his brother (of course, they were hardly seen not being together) and works as a staff of reckless records, though he is unsure of his position but he calls himself the music adviser just to sound "sophisticated".

    ben D'AMATO | 42 | barrister | sarcastic, humorous, liberal, defensive | ben is undoubtedly young for a father of two 19 year old twins. he's between the lines of being the biggest embarassment the d'amato family has to offer or the coolest dad in the universe - there is no in between. he's either sarcastic to the point where he's actually ridiculously embarrassing or just really open and funny to be considered cool. both quentin and ben are really close to each other, with him being extremely protective of quentin for being homoual.
quinton d'amato | 19 | college student, part time high school tutor | socialable eccentric, sensitive, loyal | quinton is the older twin by 3 minutes, but despite that, the d'amato twins are very different in terms of personality and at first sight, you'd be able to tell them apart (other than the fact that the older one has straight chocolate brown hair and quentin has wavy sand blonde hair) when they talk. quentin gives off an approachable vibe while quinton is a little bit more reserved than his brother, and way more weirder than him.

Personality┊francis waters is probably the biggest nerd alive, judging from the way he dresses -button down plaid dad clothing to baggy jeans and his signature round glasses hanging on the edge of his nose- to his conservative views against smoking even though it's common to see smokers all around chicago. francis wasn't one to blend with the crowds, he was one with the walls with his timid self, the number one target for bullies. he isn't afraid to speak what's on his mind because he firmly believes in freedom of speech and whatnot. it's undeniable that he was smart when it came to school, but not so when he has to socialize. he's oblivious to people's feelings most of the time, often being labelled as insensitive, but each time you need a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on or an unbiased, constructive opinion, count on francis, despite his petite feminine figure (165 cm, hah, can you believe it!) - just make sure you keep your arms by your side and not shove him into a wall when you hear something you don't want to.

   Relationship┊they are childhood best friends who met in school, or that may be how francis feels about quentin but for sure, that isn't how quentin feels about him ever since he was 15. francis often urged quentin to stop smoking, giving him one of those "quentin, smoking's horrible! you'll die, dude - i don't want you to die, man. you're too young blah blah blah" speeches and as much as the blonde loves the brunette, he was, after all, addicted. there was once quentin gave him half of his stick and francis, reluctantly, tried it before coughing and spluttering. they often hung out in bars, with quentin smoking and enjoys seeing a drunken state of francis whining and about his life events.
First meeting┊it was a cold winter morning in chicago and the scene before 8 year old quentin d'amato was a field of fellow middle school kids, running about, expressions that literally screamed happy and then there's him, trudging out of his father's car unwillingy, clutching onto his navy blue coat with a heavy heart. "goodbye rome, and hello chicago." he muttered to himself, took one final deep breath and pushed his way through the overwhelming crowd and walked into class.
"quintin diamato, is it?"
here we go again.
"quentin. and it's pronounced as dee-ya-ma-to. d'amato, not dee-ah-mato." snickers and giggles were heard and the teacher raised her brows, because really. how dare this new italian-american boy correct her in front of so many kids. she cleared , "well then, quentin d'amato, please take a seat next to..." she scanned the class, "next to francis waters. francis, please raise your hand."
the said boy dropped his book at the sound of his name being called and with a sheepish smile, he adjusted his glases and had his hands raised. his smile warm, almost beckoning a sincere invitation to quentin. the latter took a seat beside him with an equally warm smile and had his left hand out, "Heya, i'm quentin d'amato."
a toothless grin came from the spectacled boy and shook his hand, "hello there! nice name, heh. i'm francis. francis waters." |

Comments/questions/concerns┊i am pretty sure this isn't what you've expected for my chosen plotline 'cause, allow me to make an assumption, but one, it's (probably) made for a girl and two, my love interest would not interfered with my life until later on but idk man i thought it's literally impossible for the two, or at least on quentin's side to not know who the heck is the son of music town cus chicago is big af. that or the son wasn't in town for a perio of time but idk i wanted a twist or somethin', ya feel? i hope you'll enjoy this crap of an app, i really did try my best. ;;
