PAST // Growing up, she had to move around quite a bit because of her parents. But she always had a thing for singing and rapping, and writing poems and music. She was also a part of little dance groups at small parties and events. She was born in Seoul but lived in the United States for almost five years. She trained under MBK Ent. formerly known as Core Contents Media, for a while before switching to Woollim.
PRESENT // She's also graduating from college soon and she has been a trainee for five years total.
TRIVIA // Seyeon has a thing for touching people's collarbone, if it's really exposed. Though she's carefree and positive, she also has a habit of throwing tantrums. (Too much K-Drama). Seyeon is really into business-talk and debate/conversations, thus she takes part in long conversations with members about 'life'. She has a strong personality and doesn't easily back-down. It's also hard to scare her since she's a er for horror, thriller, and gore films. Seyeon hates cooking, though she has no problem cleaning afterwards. She's also usually early to meetings or practice, because she's afraid of others viewing her as a lazy person.

FAMILY // Because her parents had her at a very young age, they didn't possess the proper parenting skills. Thus life was difficult for her and her parents. She had to move around quite a bit, to stay with her grandmother and even uncles and aunts. With that, she was able to become closer to her relatives, so she's well liked and supported by the many elders. Now she lives with her divorcee mother while her dad moved to China to start his own life. The two contact once in a while. Her father doesn't know she's a trainee ready to debut. There's a reason why she wanted to debut ASAP. And she wants to do it for her parents.
