Welcome to the minds of your admins. I’ll be blunt and get straight to the point. Roleplaying is roleplaying. It is the act of immersing yourself within a character and interacting with the characters of others, not other typists. The admins here are extremely serious about this entire concept of roleplaying. Simply because we are a general and non-au roleplay does not mean that you may run around speaking to all of your ooc friends through wallposts. Any ooc conversations must stay in the group or in pm, or the admins will hunt you down, give you a lecture that none of us want, and give you a strike. I cannot reiterate enough times how important this rule is to the well-being of our roleplay. Under this broad, general rule, there are also all of the clichés. You know, the don’t ignore others, the don’t face-chase, the get to know each other before dating rules. Concerning dating, please do try to limit the amount of pda that you show. Dates and all of that cute, romantic fluff is fine, but as soon as you enter the realm of suggestive, ual comments, we have a problem. Please do mind that many children do roleplay (although we highly discourage anyone under the age of 13 from joining us considering the fact that you’re supposed to be at least 13 to actually make a Facebook account). We understand that some despise having to roleplay/ in pm, but the option of a private post is always open. And while we’re on this topic of how to properly utilize the features of Facebook for roleplaying, please do keep in mind that we are a CLOSED roleplay. That means that the admins expect you to keep a clean and private friendlist whilst also pming the link to your account upon joining. Delete anyone we tell you to. Set your settings to “friends only.” From previous experience, the admins can adamantly say that this is the best way to protect everyone. It has become a trend in the Facebook roleplay world for immature children to report entire roleplays the moment anything does not go their way. This is essentially cyber terrorism and will not be tolerated. Please remain mature and level-headed at all times, especially whilst dealing with ooc matters. Being mature also includes how you type. Emoticons are absolutely fine, and abbreviations are permitted. What we are addressing is the topic of Koreaboos. Yes, a majority of us will be roleplaying Korean idols, but do not overuse Korean terms or Jackson will rip your skin off. Not all of us are so immersed in the Korean culture that we understand every term that you use. We aren’t speaking Korean; we are speaking fluent English, and we expect you to use English. Furthermore, maturity also encompasses the idea of being accepting and understanding. Here, we welcome people of all races, ualities, and genders. Anything that is perceived as discriminating by the victims will be immediately investigated by the admins. You will receive one of those unwanted lectures and strikes that were aforementioned. Now, to finally wrap up this mess of a rant which has become far longer than I had intended, please remain active. If you are too busy ooc to maintain your account, please tell the admins. It would be irresponsible of you to take up a character that you are unable to maintain, preventing others from being that character. We aim to make a home where everyone can love each other, and it’s difficult to love an inactive bum. Be active, and have fun, children. Isn’t that the ultimate goal of every roleplay?
