Chika has a group of moles above her collarbones that go in a line. When she was younger, she loved to draw a line to connect them.

Chika's clothing is casual yet girly and has a preference for wearing skirts especially ones that go to knees. She also is the type to wear lots of layers because she is type to cold easily and always seen wearing a cardigan. She also always has her backpack on her which she holds her laptop in and some study references. 

personality

Like many people of high intelligence, Chika is mostly seen as calm girl who likes to things as logically as she can. She is the type of person who can keep a level head when things go into chaos and will try to come up with another plan if the situation calls for it. She is logical in the way she thinks and will approach new situations after giving a long thought to them. To some degree, she is observant to her surroundings. Since is a character that likes to be in the background than in the spotlight, she likes to observe the situation and not get directly involved until she needs to. 

However, whenever Chika is focused on something, she is the type not to pay attention and gets lost in her thinking process. In a way, she can be insensitive especially towards the characters that are more attention seeking, because when she is thinking or doing something productive, she will completely ignore you. Nothing stops her thinking process and takes quite a lot for to suddenly jar back into real life. 

Even though Chika has some friends, she isn't the most social creature out there. She is actually extremely awkward and it can be shown when she tries to reason with her bullies. She doesn't have much to say when she meets people for the first time and will have lots of silences until she gets comfortable you.

She is also a complete push over and it shows with her parents. She has a habit of letting people walk all over her and adding with her already awkward state, she can't seem to say no to people. Even though she knows it, she just doesn't have the backbone yet to fully go for things she wants. 

Overall, she is a regular teenager who doesn't have much control of her facial expressions she wants to and sounds a bit montone to others. Some call her boring, but she really just thinks she just able to spread her wings as of yet and has struggles that everyday people have.

background

Chikako was born to Shinchi and Ruko. She wasn't a planned child, but her parents thought of it as a blessing. As an only child, her parents always thought ahead for their little girl as far as convincing her that she wanted to be a doctor. From a young age, Chikako was drilled to that becoming successful was the only way to become happy in life. 

When Chikako turned 5 years old, her mother and father went back to their working ways before they had her. Chikako was under a care of a nanny who the mother of her now best friend Yukiko. At first, the two didn't get along especially Chikako was so quiet, but later on the two of them had mutual interest in the books that were in the house library. The two became fast friends rather quickly and has been together ever since.

 It was during those times that Chikako realized, watching Yukiko and her mother interact that perhaps success isn't everything, but never got to express this opinion to her parents cause they thought it ridiculous the first time they heard it.

Chikako had a nanny until she was 12 years old because her parents deemed it the right age for her to able to take care of herself. Chikako stilled called and played Yukiko whenever she wasn't studying especially chess. 

When it comes to her schooling, Chikako always attended high caliber schools especially since her parents could pay for it. She did get a bad grade once, but she was immediately scolded by her parents so she vowed never to get one again.  

family

Father— Toshiaki Shinchi // 47 // bussiness man // determined, distant, focused // they have professional kind relationship, don't talk much with each other. They aren't very close even though he cares for her a lot.  (probably won't appear in the story, but mentioned)

mother— Toshiaki Ruko // 46// lawyer // opintated, bossy, hardworking // Ruko mother tends to dictate her life and considers Chika becoming a doctor as a dream that she wanted while her daughter in reality doesn't really want to. Ruko cares a lot, but a little too much in the future and not enough the now. (probably won't appear in the story, but mentioned)

friends

   

Best friend — Hibachi Yukiko // 18 // student // rational, blunt, analytical  // Yukiko is Chikako's childhood friend and her best friend. The two of them are quite similar and have long winded conversations about space and other things. The two of them always meet on Saturdays which is their hang out and chess day. Yukiko knows that Chikako is being bullied and feels remorseful because they don't go the same school.

Digimon — Black PawnChessmon

Digimon's personality — PawnChessmon is definitely one tough cookie, a little too rough and little too blunt. She has no problem stating what she feels and forceful in the things she wants. She is the type to throw someone into a pool to try and teach them to swim. She does have a motherly side and can nag quite a bit, but it's because she's worried. Even though she gets overridden with emotions at times, she will try to listen to the opinion of the other person, but sometimes that doesn't happen... 

Relationship with Character & digimon — PawnChessmon and Chikako definitely are opposites, but it's clear that PawnChessmon worries for her partner a lot. PawnChessmon tries to offer advice for Chikako and scolds her when she ignores people. She wants Chikako to be more self-assured and more open instead of being in a shell. 

FACTS ABOUT DIGIMON — 
ONE — ramen | PawnChessmon really likes ramen and is almost addicted to the instant one 
TWO — names | PawnChessmon is bad with names and tends to call people weird things until she finally gets it right 
THREE — chess | ironically, PawnChessmon is really bad at chess. Nobody know why, but it seems funny to Chikako that she can't play it.
