PERSONALITY:
Youngji is a pocket full of sunshine and is usually smiling most of the time. She is very optimistic and believes that at the end of every storm there will be a rainbow waiting for them. She didn't have much of a sad background but the people around her were usually depressed so she would always smile for everybody hoping that her strength can be passed down to someone who sees the smile. She doesn't want anyone to be burdened with her sadness so she usually keeps it to herself with a smile and tries to play it off by watching a sad movie saying her tears are from the movie and not from anything else. She is the kind of person who thinks more for others, than she thinks for herself. Of course that is a bad and good thing for herself and the people around her.
With her fans she is like a cute little kitten. She loves to make her fans happy so she goes out of her way to be cute or y for them when they want her too. Even during the fan-meetings she talks to the fans the most and throws heart and such. In variety shows she is known to be the heads on kind of girl who will try anything thrown her way. She isn't picky and even though she is short she is quite athletic. Everyone loves her for her personality and finds her vrey modest and kind. Though she keeps to herself a lot and isn't as open as people think she is.
BACKGROUND:
Youngji is the Oldest child of Kim Manchul and Kim Sonhee. Her younger brother is 3 years younger than she is and he is almost the complete opposite of her. He is a trouble maker and is careless, not very persitent. The only thing he does care about is his family and friends. School is nothing to him as he is already bright and doesn't need to try. Youngji tries to set him to a better path as she used to go to the same high school with him when he was a 10th grader and she was a 12th, and all you would here would be how Junggi got into a fight again with a teacher or student. He is very high tempered so she would keep an eye on him to get him out of trouble or to calm him down. He says the only reason why he stays in school is because their parents aren't doing so great finacially and needs to get as much money as possible. He wants to study to become a doctor while Youngji didn't what she wanted to do as she wasn't as smart as Junggi and the only talent she had was Music. Eversince she was little she loved music. She took piano lesson when she was 5 and learnt how to play guitar off the internet when she was 14. She had a gift in music and didn't know how to use it.
Since her parents were in need of money both Junggi and Youngji went to go look for jobs one day at the mall when she noticed that their was flyers all over the mall with Jellyfish Ent. Auditions. She took one of the walls and kept it just in case that maybe if all fails that she could become a singer. Junggi of course supported her but said not to tell mom and dad yet until their finacial problem became more balanced. They didn't want to stress them out more than they should be. Being a singer was risky business and Youngji didn't know if she was as talented as she thought she was. The audition was 2 months away so she was going to prepare while looking for a part time job.
2 months past and she was working part time at the Music Store in the mall while her brother worked at the clothing stores on the floor below her. She has been preparing for the audition for the past 2 months and she is confident enough to go out there and sing her best. It was at the mall so she had her friend cover for her while she went to go audition for Jellyfish Ent. She was one of the last few to go as it turns out that peoplpe were waiting hours before she arrived to audition. She listened to the other people auditioning and they were amazing! She didn't think that she could have any chance to pass because she wasn't that good. It was like a total self-esteem bomb and it dropped by half. So when she was going up to the stage made she was shaking. Her legs were like jelly but she managed to make the middle of the stage. She introduced herself and smiled like she always does and tried to be as natural as she usually is. When she heard the intro of the song she was going to sing ( Listen - Beyonce ) she was a total different person. She let her voice melt into her emotions and sang her heart out. After she finished she saw that the judges were frozen and finished writing their notes. Then after that they applaused and told her that they enjoyed it and hoped to hear her again. They were trying to not be biased and she reluctantly got off the stage.
It was weeks later when they finally announced the trainees selected from the audition tours. Youngji almost forgot about the audition as she was busy with her part time job and preparing to be graduate. But her parents were the one who got the mail that day as they were home and they read it in shock that Youngji was a trainee to an entertainment. When Youngji and Junggi got home they were confronted by their parents about the letter. Youngji was eladed that she made it in......but her parents weren't that happy as they didn't know about it. Her mom was disappointed but extremely proud that she made it in, but keeping it from them made her tear. They supported her after that day and allowed her to be a singer as they weren't doing as bad as before and Youngji got the moeny for being a trainee; giving it to her parents instead.

HOW YOU MET: Youngji was skipping through the halls with her ice cream because she was so happy to be having ice cream. She was about to go back to the practice room until she bumped into Ken, literally. Her ice cream fell out of her hand and crashed into the both of them. Both of their shirts were ruined and Youngji was almost in tears. She bowed and apoligized to Ken almost a thousand times before he stopped her and asked if he could make it up to her by buying her another one. Of course she refused as she was the careless one for skipping in the hall, but he insisted and he bought the both of them ice cream. Because he was so friendly and open they began to talk and they hit it off quickly.
INTERACTIONS: When ever they are around each other they are not secretive of how they feel about each other and would hug one another when they see each other or yell their name across the room. They texted a lot and they became the bestest of friends. But her fellow members beg to differ.

HOW YOU MET: This was when Dohee and Ken were filming "Boarding House 24" and Youngji came to surprise Ken with a dinner since he did that to her one time for her first music video shoot. Dohee felt that Youngji was disturbing the two as Ken and Dohee was supposed to practice their lines for their scenes together but she was blown off by Youngji. She held a grudge eversince as she had slight feelings for Ken at the moment and she feels as though Youngje stole him from her.
INTERACTIONS: Whenever they meet up at a music show or festival together Dohee glares at Youngje but she never knows it. It was more of a one sided rivalry and Dohee doesn't care if it is one sided hatred but her feelings for Ken grew stronger after that day so she wants to get him back anyway possible. The only way is to get rid of her.
WHY ARE YOU RIVALS: Dohee is jealous of the closeness with Ken and her and she wants it as well as Ken only talks to her on set. It was supposed to be professional but Ken is also a nice guy outside his character and they were getting close until Youngji came along.

Dancing was the toughest part about Trainee life but it wasn't that hardest thing she has ever done.
