sometimes, prolonging a story, without a fix/planned plot to begin with, often leads to anti-.
imho, you can choose whether to make this story reach the right (and planned) and use your creativity to create another good story, or to continue this one (which wasnt your original plan) with the consequence that this story might becomes boring.
i think it's YOUR choice actually, since youre the author. ^^
