I like the idea of having not be the main feature lf the story, but 100% honestly i loved your first version better than the orginal. It had a little more mystery and show not tell kind of feel. But i love your plot and everything else so if it's truly easier for you to write in the original versions style, go for it! I'll read no matter what ^^

You should choose cause it's your story. In the end I'm sure this will be a great story.^^
