Chapter 5: That feeling T____T I'm crying so hard while reading this T_____T I don't even know what to say ;; this was like a heart break yet somehow had a happy ending.. I wish they are having their lives with no regrets right now, EXO I mean.. I love them but not really a super big fan but this story made me wish them to be truly happy and live their lives without restrains. I hope they become the person they really wanted to be and live their lives with the way they really wanted to be. As for me, I just want to treasure what I have today. Because this feeling right now will be the best feeling I ever had in the future. Thank you. Thank you for reminding me that.. this heart whelming story is indeed a worth-read. Love it super. I've seen that the comment section for the competition is not long enough to express what I feel, so I will comment here because I just can't resist.
Seriously, this is one of the best fics I've ever read. I am such a er for exo future life stories, especially sad ones, filled with angst, but above all, very realistic. Although this fic was quite short, you still managed to portray every character in their own way without lacking in describing them, even if some of them didn't appeared as much as others. I got so teary-eyed somewhere in between, especially when it came down to the hospital part, oh dear god (how you described how Minseok had the picture of the happy smiling Baek in his head tho). And it broke my heart how one after another died, yet I was glad that you still chose to have a few continuing their lives, more or less. And Suho's part tho... it broke me even more, because it's just so realistic, because he is just like that in what he sows us. Out of all, I guess you described him the best. He continued with his life and did the best out of it, always with a smile, although he had probably imagined something else, yet still showed his smile until the end.
I guess many people don't know how realistic that actually is and that they can't and don't want to look through the facade, because every bright life has its downfalls as well, showing sooner or later throughout many factors. The life of an idol is indeed very hard and we can't imagine what they go through, actually. The downfall was always there, it just needed someone to trigger it fully.
And lastly, you taught us a life lesson as well and I really cried during the last part omg. We should always remember and savor the good moments too ;A;

this is a story, not a fanfic. those are 2 different things. everyday i read fanfics that contain lessons and all that. but i've never read considered the majority of them as stories. because you know, stories make great impact in our lives. how and why is that? after reading this, i felt like what i've just read was a masterpiece. it was beautifully written just like what the others have said. my soul was pierced (in a good way, that is). truthfully, not just because it's exo. it's actually more than them. and what amazed me the most is that i think you have managed to get inside minseok's soul and feel his emotions as this is the minseok that i see everytime i watch exo. it's tragic, yes. but there's always a beauty in sadness, right? you're a gifted writer, i tell you. your words and the way you use them are just... perfect. just by reading the foreword, i knew then that this will be marked in my mind. i loved how you incorporated different emotions & lessons in life. i just love everything about this including you ;; never had i read stories and was left stunned afterwards, only with this one. this is pure perfection.
