Chapter 61: This is one fic that I think about time and time again it was soo good and I was shocked with junma entering and all I was wondering how did chanyeol get him as his lawyer and all but this chapter was sooo fulfilling like other chapters and I can feel yeol's love for baekhyun despite everything going on thank you for this update
So I started reading this sometime....... Well I don't remember when actually. And I loved it! It had been awhile since the last update so I've spent today reading from the very beginning.
It had a grittiness that felt real, not all sunshine and daisies and 'oh well, we're gay. The world doesn't really care' attitude that I too have been guilty of writing. Baekhyun was broken before he met Chanyeol in the bar that night. And somehow, Phoenix and his music was the hammer that simultaneously shattered his pieces and put them back together. This story has had my heart soaring and sinking without a single warning. Very cathartic in so many ways.
Kai...... Is broken also. He can't see beyond his own misery and takes it out on everyone around him. Luckily he has Kyungsoo to keep him alive and kicking (what's their back story by the way? How did a junkie end up with a Dr boyfriend?)
Literally every character in this has a feeling of life, like they could just walk right off the page.
Breathlessly awaiting the next chapter, whether it's tomorrow or in 2 years

Chapter 62: Omg another update so soon!? Well this chapter definitely captured Baekhyun's state and feelings very well and on point. To lose almost everything and becoming empty like that. Wow this emptiness really hit hard, how he was just in a state of /no feeling/... You did such a great job with this. And Chanyeol, did I already say how much I love him?? Because he's seriously the best. Coming to his rescue, taking care of him, being there for him, even protecting him.... how can you not love him :((
I'm so glad Baekhyun has him in this situation, hope everything will turn out okay ><

Well Baekhyun's situation was so sad. I felt the chill when I was reading his lifeless responses to Chanyeol and how pliant he was in Chanyeol's embrace. And how he thought he had no reason to live and go on was suffocating. I had a lump in my throat reading this chapter, but among this Chanyeol's tight hugs, his warmth and his love were the most positive points of this part of the story. I felt he was struggling to give some of his warmth and his sense of life, I mean his will to fight and find his way and also even feeling the trouble of his heart, to Baekhyun and I think he was successful, even a bit at the end. Their shower scene, even though Chanyeol was just attending to Baek's fragile state, it was my favorite. It was heart warming and pretty and had so much affection and love, that kind of love which gives life and takes your breath away. I loved this part.
And I know Chanyeol is going to sacrifice his life for Baekhyun's, and he'll give his dream away for him, for Baekhyun to not lose his dream and his reasons to go on. I feel sad, but also I think this will be like a push for Baekhyun to not think life is just his image and his job. I hope he gets a good lesson and also I'm afraid if Chanyeol understands that Kai has betrayed him what will happen? Will he lose his will for future, for fighting and how things would go on?!!
I can't wait to read more...

Chapter 62: I'm so excited for this. When Baekhyun said he couldn't feel the parts of him that were still alive, it shot right through my heart because I've been there. Living but not living. Breathing but still choking. It's a different kind of pain because you also don't feel it but you know something or everything is missing.
