Chapter 2: Hi, I'm a new reader and I'm also really shocked by Tao's wage! I earlier made a comment from a US point of view, but I realized I should probably make it in a Korean perspective, so I deleted the old comment. Anyway, here's a breakdown of the math:
As of 2013, the Korean minimum wage is 4860 won/hour. Let's say that in Korea, working full time is also for 40 hours/week, as it is in the US. Let's also say they work a full 52 weeks/year, so their annual salary is about 10.1 million won. In comparison, Tao's wage is 500,000 won every 2 months, or only 3 million won per year! Not only that, he's a live-in nanny, so he's probably working more than 40 hours/week. He's making less than 1/3, maybe even 1/4, the amount of minimum wage!

Chapter 10: Awe, everything was so perfect and fluffy and then I read this chapter and it was like a freaking bomb going off in my face and I just layed in my bed and cried a little.
