➤His father was always smiling, as long as tiny Taeyong could remember. At the neighbors, the food stall ladies, even the grumpy cashier at the store, the Lee family head was tirelessly grinning, with people returning it in kind. Woohyun was born into an important family, his Father was running a political campaign and his wife was the face of women in business. He grew up alone but not unhappy, excelling in school and comfortable in finances. Business came naturally to him and he knew how to make things sell so he decided to study business abroad. He travelled to America where he completed his degree and started his own small online business.
After his degree Woohyun started to travel. During this time he became a desirable team leader and worked in a lot of top companies till eventually he worked his way to the top of his own. He runs his shopping centre with pride and joy and is successful and living comfortably in a luxury apartment in Seoul. He often travels to other countries to seal deals to grow his company and has now opened 3 centres throughout Asia and he isn’t done yet, he feels he hasn’t yet reached his full potential and believes his ambition will take him to bigger and better places.
As his power grew he was able to indulge his own guilty pleasures, he often indulges in es and gambling which leads him through a lot of underground establishments. He thinks he is owed respect and so he often waltzes in where he isn’t wanted and makes enemies.
Woohyun is rarely courteous, often seeing himself as bigger and better than others. He was raised at the top and so he believes that is where he belongs. He is not often affectionate or romantic which is why he uses people he considers scum to satisfy his needs. He often takes risks and indulges in activities that could potentially ruin his whole career (such as spending time on the darker side of business) because he believes himself to be almost untouchable, although outside of work he displays a lack of self control this does change when work is involved and he is a lot more cautious. He is incredibly ambitious in all things he does and throws himself into any opportunity he has to grow his business or reputation. He is rarely curious or sympathetic about or towards other people and tends to only find interest in his own life and the people directly related to him, occasionally however someone will catch his eye and he will find himself curious about them. Once close to him he is often nurturing towards them (although he is not very physically affectionate) and generally loyal but not very trusting, he has made himself successful and so doesn’t want to let anyone pose a risk to that. Woohyun is very logical and tends to be a solitary person so you would need to approach him first.

Everyone has their talent, something that comes to them naturally. His talent just happened to be fighting. A roundhouse kick, left hook, jab and punch comes more naturally to a seasoned fighter like Kris, someone who's been fighting for most of his lifetime. He grew up in rural China with parents who tried to make ends meet. Never knowing when his next meal was, Kris would resort to petty theft when he saw an opportunity. He ran a lot back in those days, knew the area like the back of hand. Time passed as he grew up, making friends with the other poor kids and committed more crimes.
One of Kris' excursions led him to cross paths with a martial arts master who took him on as a student. The dojo became a second home and an escape. Kris trained hard during his teen years and started entering underground cage fights for money at first. He endured multiple injuries but always came back. Always fighting. Chen was adopted at the age of 3, he always knew he was adopted because it was never hidden from him but he loved his parents none the less. When he was 6 his little sister was born, she had come out not breathing and the Doctors had to save her in an emergency rush but when she was returned to them she became his everything pretty quickly. From the moment he heard her cry he knew he would protect her better than anyone else ever could. Grateful to the Doctors for saving this gift he decided then he would become a Doctor.
And protect her he did, he helped her learn to walk, fed her at meal times, brought her toys and gave up any hope of a social life for her, so when their parents divorced when she was 12 and Chen was 18 Chen was the one to hold her hand. He started sleeping in her bed at night so he could hold her when she cried, tell her he loved her and promise her “Your big brother isn’t going anywhere”. He saw nothing weird about this but the day his mother left the house she ended up throwing things at him, telling him he was ed up because that’s his sister and she’s “12 ing years old”- Chen didn’t understand what she thought he was doing but all he wanted was to keep her safe from harm.
He knew he could protect her from people, take the broadband away so she would never see anything that might hurt her, strangle the neighbours dog because it bit her, but he could never have protected her from illness. He thought he could, but when the 2 year terminal diagnoses was given he knew they weren’t wrong. So instead he set about easing her pain, the pain killers weren’t working so he started stealing from the hospital, putting together illegal drugs that took the edge off for her.
She died at 2Am on Friday- Aged 13.
Chen left his father, left med school. The very people who delivered her failed to prolong her life even 2 years as they promised. He wasn’t giving them any of his time. So he started working with dealers, supplying to establishments including the gang. He had abandoned his own social skills so much he couldn’t understand how to get on with people but in these surroundings he seemed to fit, eventually he went back to finish medical school so he's have access to what they needed through him but he’d be back because it was easier here. Here he could live until the time came where he could be with his sister again.
