Chapter 38: I read your last author's note before reading this and wanted to slap the review because cliches are okay lol. I still dont get what the reviewer because if i did have a gripe in the first 18 chapters, it would be that the plot seemed to weaken - it started off strong, but i was tempted to drop it. BUT following chapter 19 onwards, i could really tell you were a lot motivated to not only finish this, but also bring justice to yejin and jackson's character. Honestly, even if they didnt end up together, i still believe this is a jacksonxoc story because of how much they've grown throughout the fic. I definitely loved how you incorporated the sports element more in this story, and it really reflects the title on so many levels!
I was definitely surprised; i knew who she was going to end up with eventually (because of comments lol), but i feel like this was done okay! We dont know who we're gonna like in the future so i didnt expect any hints dropped throughout the story. But yeah, really good story!
Chapter 38: I loved this story just because it was so realistic. No one ends up with a rich cologomerate heir with a love hate relationship. In reality, sometimes people like Jackson simply follow someone around for attention. People like Youngjae take relationships at face value out of fear of being in one. But although Yejin developed beautifully throughout this story, one thing that stayed constant was that her feelings were real. Every single time with every single guy, not once were her actions or words fake. If there is one thing I envy in Yejin, it is that she is always true to herself, which many people struggle with. It just felt like we were Yejin and going through her life. With most stories, the author tries to create a clear personality for the character with pure perfection and charisma and beauty. But with Yejin, I felt like you, the author, made her a person in her own right. Not once did it feel like you were deliberately making Yejin act in a way uncharacteristic of her. It felt like Yejin was a person on her own, and that's why maybe you didn't how the story would go or end. Yejin lived her own life, not one crafted by an author. And that I believe, is the greatest achievement an author can have. LMAO sorry this is long I just loved your story so much I just had to spent\d 10 minutes writing this paragraph for you even though I literally never comment on anything
