" It's dinner time, Jungkook, call your sister here.. " Jungkook's grandma said as she carefuly positioned

the plates on the dining table.

" I'm not really hungry, grandma, i'm thinking of taking a walk outside... " Jungkook said looking at the

table unpleasantly.

" But it's dark outside. " His grandma said worringly. Jungkook left the kitchen without second thought

and took his bike with him. His grandma never disagreed with him for such things, she could trust him.

 

It was getting dark outside, Jungkook sat on his bike and started riding it inside the forrest.

At first, it was a bit burdening to walk around with all the rocks and the branches around him but

soon he got used to it. 

A few minutes after he started, the sky became pitch dark and Jungkook his flashlight.

" Maybe i should start to head back home... " Jungkook said and tried to turn the bike until he

noticed a strange and blinding light a few metres away from him. 

" W-Who is that? " Jungkook said, frozen. The light disappeared.  Maybe it was his imagination, he

thought. 

Jungkook begun driving back home, suddenly his flashlight turned off without reason. 

" I knew i should have changed the batteries! " Jungkook exclaimed while hitting the flashlight on

a tree, hopefully it would operate again, but it was futile.

Jungkook took a deep breath and tried to find his way in the dark, without knowing where he was

going, scared. 

He was so scared, he thought he was seing things in the dark, which was unusuall since you can't see

through the darkness. 

Suddenly, he felt himself tripping over something and falling over. He panicked, he tried to hold on 

something but there was nothing. Jungkook fell in water. He didn't even understand what happened.

His breathing started to get slower as water suffocated him. All of a sudden, he felt someone 

pulling him outside the water. Jungkook had fainted but he could still see, only more bulrry this time.

He could see that he was not alone this time. As his vision cleared, he noticed something really odd.

There was a boy around his age right next to him. The strangest part though was, this boy had an

odd shine on him. Even though it was pitch dark, he could see that boy clearly from head to toe. 

He was extremely handsome, as if he wasn't human at all. His pressence felt strange though.

" W-What are you??..." Jungkook said with a faint voice, because he was starting to come back to his

senses.  His clothes were very poor, it was a very old fabric, most of it was ripped off...

" You could say that i'm not alive... it's been years since i've been buried here....  

" You're a g-ghost...?" Jungkook said slowly walking backwards. 

" Do not be afraid.... I was seeing you walk around here almost everyday..." He said.

" You did?... Wait, ghosts do really exist? " Jungkook asked. " And so you are now. " The other boy said.

" Wait, WHAT? " Jungkook said shockingly. 

" You can see yourself in the dark, look at you... " He said. Jungkook looked down on himself, he was 

indeed distinguishable in the dark. He could see all of his clothes clearly. 

" Did i die down there? " Jungkook said looking at the river. 

" Sadly yes... " The boy said and patted Jungkook at his shoulder. " I-It can't be... My grandma... she

is still waiting for me... " Jungkook said. " It must be a dream... i can't explain it otherwise... " Jungkook

said and sat down trying to think clearly. " I'll wake up soon or later i'm sure... " He added. 

" It's not gonna happen. " The other boy said. 

" Who are you? " Jungkook asked. 

" I'm Taehyung, victim of 1996. I was pushed over a cliff here, and had the same fate as you... " 

The boy said.

" Even though you want to return, you are stuck here... " He added. 

" Unbelievable.... " Jungkook said, his eyes started to water a bit...

" Don't... i've lost more than you did... there is no need to cry... " Taehyung said and calmly hugged

Jungkook and rested his head on his shoulder. 

" Thanks... " Jungkook said.
