Forty Percent True: Dog Days
Description
“Do you think Mark will forgive me?” I ask.
"People will surprise you", my mother replies. “Have faith.”
This is a sequel to Thirty Percent True, detailing the accounts of Mark and Jinyoung as they come to terms with how much they mean to each other.
Foreword
To my faithful readers of Thirty Percent True,
I think the most challenging kind of romantic fiction to write is the 'fluffy' one. At least, I thought I could write one that was purely light-hearted and comical. At the same time I also wanted growth for these characters. And after weeks of writing TPT, I've been reminded of how important it is for love to be tested. Believe me, I want to this story to conclude on a positive note, but I also want it to be substantial.
It sometimes takes war to know peace.
It sometimes takes doubt to know faith.
It sometimes takes anger to know love.
And so, faithful reader, thank you for subscribing. Thank you for embarking with me on one last journey with me so that we can give these two boys a proper send-off. I hope over the last chapters, we can laugh, cry, get scared out of our willies, and fall in love with these boys all the more.
Best Regards,
Author-nim ~
Dedicated, once again, to Stephen. Wherever you are and whoever you may be now, I still send love.
