In which Youngjae understands and accepts that all members are equal but some are more equal than others, and realises he isn't the only one feeling this way. maknaeline!fic.

Foreword

this just occurred to me with the trending onslaught of hyungline fics i've just been noticing on lj and ao3 and ugh, i know i shouldn't be biased but maknae line, guys ;A; maKNAE LINE is beautiful guys please ;A;

notes:
- sort of a prequel to secrets of the universe, but can be read as a standalone 
- i started writing this ages ago and only completed it like literally just so possible inconsistencies with canon
- youngjae is beautiful 
- yugyeom too and bambam
- hints of markson and an entire conglomeration of pairings tbh

Also this is a love letter.

Chapter 1: Not sure how I can about this again, but love this story! I think it really captures all the members' emotions and characteristics very well. The part about forming a subunit fits so much after their 'Loser' radio performance! XD (Except Bambam is the vocalist and the other two are the rappers lol) Thank you for some sadness but also some laughter!

Chapter 1: I love how Mark and Jackson got busted for being in a relationship at the same time that Jackson got busted for the snacks. Jaebum is hilarious when he's wrathful and dad like.

Chapter 1: Oh gosh how did I not find this earlier? This is great and I love topics that explore maknaes or maknae lines feeling like this especially in Got7 because I would feel a little bitter too knowing other members were doing better than me. It's really well done, good job!

Chapter 1: Oh god, this is so good! i rarely read Got7 fic (bc i'm picky and its hard to find a Youngjae centered fic!) but this! whoa can't say i dont like it bc i absolutely love this! Starting to love the maknae line more bc of this (my bias is Youngjae and i dont really like Bambam and Yugyeom before)
