“Did you read K tabloid this morning, our boss’s in gossip column again?” a women chatted with her co-worker at the office coffee corner.

“Yeah, it’s said that our boss is dating a model named Lee Qri now” another woman added

“What’s about the actress Bae Suzy, rumor said it that she’s her girlfriend” the first woman asked

“Oh poor Park Jiyeon, I guess she was dumped by now. The 2nd woman said

“ But I’m happy that our boss didn’t choose that singer Park Gyuri , she seemed a bit arrogant” the 1^st woman continued .

This would be the topic I hear about our CEO, Ham Eunjung every morning in the office among the staff but the names of those people involved with her would change every day varied by magazines and news websites. I try to make myself as invisible as much as possible so they won’t notice me and drag me to their conversation, I just need to add some sugar.

“Hyomin ssi, do you think between Lee Qri and Bae Suzy, who is the one our boss is dating” the 1st woman asked me.

“ I have no idea” I simply smiled at them and walked away.

“Good morning Hyomin” Sunny greeted me with a bright smile, carrying a pile of document to put on my desk.

“Morning Sunny, thank you for preparing this” I greeted Sunny back

“You’re welcome, I wish you luck for a Design Development Project today” She said and showed a “Hwaiting Sign” in the air.

“Thank you Sunny” I said before preparing my documents and slide frame to present my work for a company project.

 At 11.45 am in Meeting Room

Soyeon was taking note diligently beside her boss, “Ham Eunjung”, who seems to be contemplating hard on the design she’s going to choose.

“Well, I’m quite impressed with Hyomin ssi ‘s idea” Eunjung finally spoke after a long hours of discussing and finally it’s time to make decision,  Hyomin perked up her eyes upon the mention of her design, she was very positive and confident with her work.

“ But I’m going to choose Tiffany to go on an overseas business trip this time, so she can adjust what she learns from there to her new design” Eunjung concluded her decision, it made Tiffany smiled with triumph and a hint of mocking at Hyomin. Hyomin face turned dark with her boss’s decision, it was obvious that her design was a lot better than Tiffany, but it was her boss’s decision and she could do nothing about it.

“I guess that will be all for today, thank you for everyone hard work”, the meeting was wrapped up by the CEO and everyone left the meeting room.

Hyomin sighed as she was walking back to her desk, Sunny noticed her colleague’s disappointed face, it wasn’t necessary to ask about the result of the meeting today, so she approached her with an offer to lighten up her colleague mood  

“ Hyomin, I heard that a newly open restaurant serves really great beef, would you like to try ? My treat” Sunny said smiling hopefully, Hyomin was in no mood to go but she didn’t want to decline her colleague’s good intention, so she agreed to go. When they got there, they saw their boss having lunch with her secretary and a model Lee Qri. They tried to avoid them and sat at the far corner.

“I guess the rumor about Lee Qri is true” Sunny began the conversation while waiting for their food to arrive, “ Look our boss is being so nice toward her”  Hyomin lifted her head up to stare at mentioned people at far corner table

“Hmm” Hyomin nonchalantly said before going back to play with her phone.

“Do you have any plan for tonight Hyomin ssi?” a guy from Graphic Design division approached Hyomin

“I’m sorry Lee Joon, but I have to work overtime” She politely turned down him, Lee Joon just scratched the back of his head “Ah, I understand, it’s ok, maybe next time” he said, excusing himself.

Hyomin didn’t lie she planned to work on her new design, now most of the office staff has left the office but Hyomin still worked on project. Eunjung was about to leave when she saw the light still on at Hyomin’s desk.

“Don’t you go home Hyomin?” Her boss asked her

“I’m leaving soon, I need to finish this” Hyomin said not even lifting her head.

“Oh, do you still get mad that you were not chosen for an oversea business trip ?” Eunjung asked, amused. Hyomin didn’t answer.

“Just try harder” Eunjung stated before walking off to the lift.

“I’m home” , Hyomin tiredly laid down in a couch in living room of her classy condo, she was very hungry but she was too tired to move, she was closing her eyes and about to fall asleep when her sweet voiced girlfriend called her.

“Honey, go to take hot shower, then have dinner, I cooked your favorite dish for you today” Hyomin’s girlfriend sweetly said, caressing her face.

 “Just five more minute please” Hyomin pleaded cutely

“You want me to carry you to bathroom?” she asked

“Okay,okay, I’ll go now”, Hyomin unwilling got up and went to bathroom . Around 30 minutes later, Hyomin walked out of the bathroom, her hair was wet.

“Honey, come here, I’ll dry your hair or you’ll get sick” Hyomin did as told, she sat in front of the dressing table looking at her girlfriend in the mirror , busy drying her hair with towel.

“Why do you look so grumpy today, smile for me please “ Hyomin’s girlfriend cutely begged, puffing her cheeks.

“My crazy CEO unfairly chose another design over me” Hyomin pouted, her girlfriend just laughed amusingly.

“That’s because she loves you too much to the point where she can’t let you go on a business trip for a month because she will miss you terribly” Hyomin’s girlfriend reasoned but Hyomin was yet satisfied with the reason.

“Eunjung ah, but it’s my dream to attend that fashion show” Hyomin whined, her girlfriend paused what she was doing.

“If you really wanna go, we’ll arrange the trip to go there together for next season” Eunjung said to Hyomin

“Really?” Hyomin widened her eye excitedly

“Promise” Eunjung said, Hyomin jumped happily and turned around to peck her girlfriend on the lip.

“I love you”, Hyomin hugged her girlfriend resting her head on Eunjung’s chest

“But I love you more” Eunjung said messing up with Hyomin’s hair

After dinner Eunjung watched TV in the living room with Hyomin lying in her arms.

“ The CEO of Ham EJ. was reportedly spot having lunch with a hot model Lee Qri, the new brand ambassador for Ham EJ , we will keep you updated for their relationship”  an entertainment news reported

Hyomin was wrapped in Eunjung’s arms playing with a ring in her girlfriend’s finger, while people out there keep guessing about Eunjung’s relationship with different people, Hyomin never once doubted Eunjung’s heart that belonged to her. From the start, their relationship was private, and kept from public because Eunjung wanted to protect her girlfriend , she didn’t want her girlfriend to be followed by paparazzi or reporters like herd of tigers bouncing at their prey, through it was hard at first , the younger woman was contented and patient enough to go through all of this with her.

They started dating, when they were studying in France. Hyomin found out that her Eunjung was totally different from a public figure Eunjung, the image that public made up for her.

Message alert tone broke Hyomin’s train of thoughts, she moved a bit to reach for her phone that laid on the table, she read the message and smiled

“Who was that from? Eunjung asked her girlfriend curious

“It was from Jiyeon” Hyomin said

 “Hmm, what did she say?” Eunjung asked, paying her attention back to TV

“She said she saw the news on TV , you cheated on me again, and in that case, she said she was still waiting for me” Hyomin said, laughing.

“Aish, this kid, I’ll give her a lesson ” Eunjung complained, not really serious about Jiyeon’s statement. Every time rumor about Eunjung came up, Jiyeon would playfully send message to Hyomin to and make her jealous but she never succeeded.  Jiyeon was Eunjung’s childhood friend, the only one who they trusted enough to tell about their relationship.

Eunjung took her phone to type something and put it back smiling, satisfied, Hyomin looked up to her girlfriend frowning.

“I wrote a message to Jiyeon telling her if she wants to wait for you, she will have to wait for forever and a day”, Eunjung laughed, hugging Hyomin tighter and kissed her hair lovingly.

“Oh my God, did you just see Park Jiyeon, she came to our boss’s office today” few staff gathered to gossip about their boss

“I smell the drama in the air” one woman voice out,

 “Our boss has the look and everything, who wouldn’t fight for her” another woman added.

“Wow, Lee Qri vs Park Jiyeon, interesting”

Here they go again.

“Hyomim ssi, Ms.Ham wants you in her office” Soyeon informed me, I thanked to her before proceeding to the room with the sign “CEO Ham Eunjung” on the door.

“You may come in”, Eunjung said behind the door, there I saw Jiyeon sitting in sofa enjoying potato chip, as soon as I close the door, Jiyeon energetically runs to give me a bear hug and pecks me on the cheek.

Eunjung pretends to cough a few times to interrupt Jiyeon then she releases the hug

“Seem like a someone here is jealous” Jiyeon said, laughing with triumph. My girlfriend just ignores Jiyeon’s statement and returns back to her work.

“Hyomin ah, I miss you so much, I can’t wait for forever and a day, so I’m here to see you” Jiyeon cutely stated, getting back at Eunjung. Eunjung gritted her teeth

I can't help but smile at them, the way they bicker like kids, we catch up for a while before I leave her office

Everyone eyes were on Hyomin when she came out of their boss’s office, they were dying to know what was going on there, but it would be really rude to ask, they waited for Hyomin to split it out but it was unlikely to happen.

Short after Eunjung and Jiyeon walked out of the office, all staff went back to their work, while Soyeon’s eyes followed the back of Jiyeon and Eunjung till they left, she couldn’t help but felt jealous.

Hyomin was sweating like a crazy, it has been 10 minutes that she was stuck inside the lift alone when the lift was suddenly broken as she reached the office floor. Not many people knew about her fear “claustrophobia” but her girlfriend. Suddenly, her phone rang, she answered her phone.

“How are you, Hyomin ah ?”Eunjung asked restlessly

“I’m alright, don’t worry” Hyomin said difficultly

“Hang on, the technicians are on the way” Eunjung said anxiously

“Hey, honey, talk to me” Eunjung got worried when she heard no response from her girlfriend

“I’m here” Hyomin responded weakly

“I’ll cancel the contract with this company if they don’t show up in 5 minutes” Hyomin could hear Eunjung furiously said.

At this moment she cared about nothing but her girlfriend who was trapped inside the lift, she knew how much her girlfriend was scared of this narrow place when it was stuck.

Her staff were surprised to see their boss this angry, most of the time she would be composed and calm

“Eunjung ssi, they are here” Soyeon informed her boss.

“Can’t you fix it any quicker ?” Eunjung asked ,annoyed

As soon as the lift door was opened, Eunjung rushed to Hyomin who sat on the floor breathing difficultly. She kissed her girlfriend’s forehead

“You are safe now” Eunjung carried Hyomin in bridal style walking out of the lift toward her office

Staff witnessed the whole scene dropped their jaws, shocked , looking at each other but this time nobody said anything, this was beyond their expectation. While Sunny and Soyeon were stunned .

Flashes from numerous cameras were blinding Qri’s eyes as she walked her way to Ham EJ. Brand backdrop, but she professionally smiled at cameras, Today Ham EJ brand held a Press Confernce to reveal their new brand ambassador, it drew press’s attention a lot for they wanted to dig deeper to a relationship between Ham Eunjung and Lee Qri.

Eunjung was in black classy skinny and stylist suit jacket walked to backdrop and offered her hand to Qri before they walked to stage prepared for press conference.

A reporter shot a question as soon as Eunjung was done introducing Lee Qri

“Why was Lee Qri ssi chosen as new model for Ham EJ. Brand ”

 “Because she’s perfect for the concept of our Spring/ Fall Season style” Eunjung answered the question

“Ms. Ham, did you personally select?

“We had our casting team to consider the lists of model and we finally selected her” Eunjung answered smartly

 “Have you ever met before?”  

“We’ve never met before but I’ve seen her portfolio, because she is quite famous in our entertainment industry” Eunjung managed to continue answering

“What’s about a recent photos at the restaurant, you had a lunch date?”

“Well, it was a lunch treat after Lee Qri ssi signed the contract with us” Eunjung smiled “If the reporters didn’t crop the photo, you would have seen my secretary as well, we were not there alone” Eunjung added.

“So you are saying that you two are not dating”  

“To give my respect to Qri ssi, I let Qri ssi to answer this question?

“We are not dating” Qri confirmed smiling at cameras.

“The last question Eunjung ssi, are you dating anyone?” Eunjung smied at the reporter before answering

“I’m not dating anyone” Eunjung answered, “But I have a lover, she’s so precious that I’ve her hidden away, only for me” Eunjung finished coolly which earned a long loud applause from many reporters.

Eunjung went back home to her girlfriend after the press conference ended, she didn’t see Hyomin in living room so she walked to their bedroom, her heart dropped when she saw her girlfriend, her eyes were red and puffy , she has been crying. Eunjung approached her girlfriend cupping her face

“What’s wrong honey, why are you crying? Eunjung asked her girlfriend worriedly.

“You” Hyomin replied, her voice became husky from crying.

“Eh, why, what did I do?” Eunjung asked bewildered, she was confused what she did to make her girlfriend cried.

 Hyomin lifted her phone up to show what she had seen, it was video that was uploaded 1 hour ago after the New Brand Ambassador Press Conference ended. Hyomin had replayed it over and over and had been crying.

“It’s so romantic and touching honey” Hyomin said, smiling. Eunjung just realized what her girlfriend was talking about and what the reason for her crying was.

“You are silly”, Eunjung messed up Hyomin’s hair and hugged her wholeheartedly

“You are my amazing lover” Hyomin kissed her girlfriend, and Eunjung responded the kiss, suddenly a buzz from Hyomin’s phone interrupted their kiss

Hyomin smiled at Jiyeon’s message and showed it to Eunjung

“Hyomin ah, Eunjung cheated on you again, she just said she had a secret lover :P, My arms are still opened for you, xoxo, Little Dino”

Eunjung took the phone from Hyomin and kissed her “Click”, Eunjung snapped the photo of them kissing before sending to Jiyeon with a caption

“I have a lover, my amazing lover”
