it's the year 2169; the human population has developed differently compared to our ancestors. our minds and bodies act more aggressively. we no longer distinguish ourselves by race, color and religion. but by kind. we live in a world where alphas and betas rule, while omegas suffer the burden the government has put upon them.
each year, a list of omegaS names appear. the purpose of it? dragging omegas into a loveless contract with either an alpha or an omega to concieve at least one child.

Short Background: Growing up, his family thought for sure that Hanbin would easily be an alpha, and a beta at the least. But alas, they were wrong. Hanbin, who took on alpha rolls until he presented, was actually an omega. He was captain of the school's dance team, leader of music clubs and class representative. Now he was an omega, it labeled him like a big tattoo on his forehead. His rolls were taken away from him, highschool was complete now. He was all alone, his parents shunned him and claimed to be ashamed. His baby sister didn't know he existed. To see his name in bold print on The List, Hanbin felt more depressed than before. But, it wasn't like he was living a loving life anyways. Maybe, just maybe, he'd get a sweet alpha or beta.

Short background : Since youth, Kim Jongdae felt confused towards where he stood in the rankings. He felt like an omega when he encountered something bigger than him, and felt like an alpha when encountered with things that are somewhat smaller than him. He was raised by his alpha mother and his omega father which made him even more confused as to who he was like more. In the end, he realized he was a beta. An in between. His family was no rich, nor were they poor. As to Kim Jongdae's personality, he grasped some of his mother's sassy traits and some of his father's kind and submissive traits. He waited to either claim or be claimed, even if he disliked the idea of this system. He had no choice.

Short background - Taehyung showed signs of being omega at an early age. His uncle was horrified and when the time was right, he took Taehyung to the doctors to see his rank. Taehyung didn't want to be an omega, he didn't want to be someone who'll bear a child for the person he'll marry just so that humanity won't cease to exist. He didn't want to be like his mother, who left him after giving birth at the hands of his abusive father. He grew up with his uncle, his father's brother, when the man was deemed not qualified to take care of him. Taehyung is a person who'll do everything for equality, and his dream is to marry someone who'll love and take care of him. Which was broken when he saw his name on the list.
