Valentine 02 - The Americans and Choding
Shikshin Love
The group gathered at the canteen and settled down at the table at the corner, away from the crow. Some guys approached them and gave them boxes of chocolates, before running away feeling shy. Apparently, the chocolates became their lunch, except for Seohyun, who refuses to eat unhealthy food. Also, for some reason, some girls came too, giving chocolates to Yuri and Sooyoung.
“You two have gotten popular.. with the girls...” Taeyeon placed a piece of chocolate into and commented, looking at those girls running to them and running away. The two kept quiet while the others laughed out loud, especially Yoona. Both of them looked at the doe-eye girl, who is sitting in between them, at the same time, and soon noticed each other.
“By.. by the way, have you guys chosen a club to join?” Sooyoung changes the topic, turning away quickly to avoid Yuri’s stare.
“Err... No.. Which one are you in?” Yoona asked, swallowing the chocolate in .
“Sunny and I are in the Sing and Dance club. But there’s just the two of us since the seniors had left.”
“I see... I’m joining~” Taeyeon, forgetting the presence of Yuri and Seohyun, leans towards Sunny to hug her. In return, Sunny Taeyeon’s head lovingly.
“Taengoo... Is something going on between the two of you?” Yuri’s eyes transferred from Sooyoung to the two shorties.
“Hu.. Huh? Ha.. No.. Childhood friend, you see...” Taeyeon let go of Sunny immediately and let out awkward laugh.
“Anyway, since there’s dance, I’m joining too.” Yuri still feels that the relationship between the two shorties is not that simple, but she did not bother about it. “And, where’s Kim Choding anyway? It had been such a long time since we last met...”
“Roof. To practice, I think.” Taeyeon replied, still a little shocked by Yuri’s previous question.
“I see.. Huh?” Yuri noticed someone sneaking up behind Taeyeon. Someone with a very beautiful eye-smile.
“ACK?!” Taeyeon shouted, when someone suddenly jumps on her back, startling her. “Ahh? Fany-ah!”
“Tae Tae~” The latter called out happily, hugging her friend tightly.
“Fany~” Sunny stood up and gave her friend a hug.
“Bunny~” Fany called out as she returns the hug.
Upon hearing the nickname given to her, Sunny pushes Tiffany away and stare. “What’s with the bunny...?”
“It’s cute, isnt’ it?” The latter replied, showing Sunny her eye-smile.
“Ohh.. I shall call you that in future! Bunny~” Taeyeon, once again forgetting about Yuri and Seohyun, clings to Sunny’s arm.
“Yah! Taengoo!” Sunny pulls her arm away and stared right into Taeyeon’s eyes, but got a sweet and cheeky smile in return.
“Come on, Jessi~” Tiffany signalled to the blonde girl hiding behind the wall near to where they are sitting at. Slowly, she walks towards them in quick small steps and stood behind Tiffany, hiding as though they will eat her if she gets close.
“Fany-ah.. This is..?” Taeyeon stared at the blonde girl.
“Meet my baby, Jessica~” Tiffany pulls the blonde girl towards her and hugged her, at the same time brushing her hair gently with her hand.
“Ohh.. Nice to meet you. I’m Taeyeon.” Taeyeon sticks out her hand towards Jessica, wanting to shake her hand.
“I’m Sunny. Nice to meet you.” Sunny did the same.
“Fa.. Fany-ah...” Jessica stares at the two outstretched hands and retreated slightly into Tiffany’s embrace.
“Come on, Jessi. They won’t eat you.” Tiffany patted her girlfriend, and gave her a beautiful and comforting smile.
“.. H.. Hi.. I.. I’m Jessica... Nice .. Nice to meet you..” Jessica took their hands and shook it lightly before darting behind Tiffany again.
“Anyway, we’re going to report to the office. See ya later at the gate, if we are not in the same class.” Tiffany links her arm with Jessica’s and walked away, waving slightly.
“See ya~” The two shorties waved at the two Americans.
“... When did these get here...?” Yoona picked up one of the boxes and examined. All of these have words written on it. Typical words like, ‘I love you, Yoona’, ‘Marry me’ and ‘Yoona, my love~’. The only one that caught her attention was the one with ‘Love You’ but no name on it. Some how, she gets a really special feeling from it, making her liking this box of chocolate a lot. She placed that particular box of chocolate into her bag before she continues to stare at the rest.
“Is there a mistake...?” Sooyoung stared at the pile, not believing that these are for her.
“Nope. See? The words say, Choi Sooyoung forever..” Yoona took a box from Sooyoung’s desk and showed it to her.
“So... How are we going to continue with the lesson..?” Yuri tries to arrange the boxes according to the size.
“I.. I have some plastic bags.. Hope it’s enough..” Sooyoung fished out some plastic bags from her bag and the three of them starts to shove everything on their desks into the plastic bags.
“I want to eat these now...” Yoona whined. Sooyoung nodded, agreeing to what she had just said.
Definitely shikshins.... Taeyeon stared at the two for a while before approaching Sunny and pouring the content of the plastic bags into the big box.
“Hey guys~ Oh? Chocolates~ You guys are popular~” Tiffany strolled down the corridor, towards them, with her arm linked with Jessica’s.
“I might get fat...” Taeyeon rubbed her stomach and pouted.
“I guess if all these are from...” Tiffany tries to tease the two by was interrupted by Sunny, who knew what she is going to say.
“Ahh.. Is everyone here?” Sunny glanced at Yuri, the only one here that did not know about their relationship, and was relieved that she did not hear it. She does not know what Yuri might do after finding out that Yoona had been hanging out with girls that like girls.
“Hyo and Seo aren’t here yet. Let me call Hyo... She’s always running about..” Taeyeon took out her phone and excused herself from the group. The phone call did not take up much time. Soon, Taeyeon was seen stuffing her phone back into her pocket and returning to the group.
“So.. where’s she?” Yuri asked.
“Behind you.” Taeyeon pointed somewhere behind Yuri, smiling mischievously.
“Huh?” Confused, Yuri turns around and was shocked to see a short girl behind her.
“Hi Yuri.” The girl greeted immediately after Yuri turns around and saw her..
“ACK!? Hyo! Is this how you greet people?!” Yuri almost screamed.
“No. But this is how I greet you. Oh. Hi Yoona. Where’s Seo?” Hyoyeon smile at Yuri before waving to Yoona, who is squatting beside those bags of chocolates.
“Class, I guess.” Yoona continues to stare at the chocolate, until she suddenly remembers something. She stood up, pulling Sooyoung with her, pushes Sooyoung towards Hyoyeon and giving her a back hug. “By the way, this is Youngie~”
Noticing the change in Yuri’s expression, Sooyoung frees herself from Yoona’s embrace quickly, despite the fact that she likes it. “Stop introducing me with that! That’s not even my real name..”
“Hehe. Are you both a couple too?” Tiffany interrupted the conversation, not knowing about the dark aura emitting from Yuri. Taeyeon quickly tugged on her shirt, telling her stop, as the two shikshins shouted in unison, “Wh.. what?! No!”
“Fany-ah... Don’t mention about that... Especially when Yuri is around.. It’s not good..” Taeyeon whispered into Tiffany’s ear, with Jessica hugging Tiffany’s arm tightly, listening to whatever Taeyeon is saying. Upon hearing that, the two Americans looked at the tanned girl, who is still emitting large amount of dark aura, and got scared. Jessica even hides behind Tiffany like a small kid hiding behind her mother.
“Eek! What’s wrong..?” Tiffany stepped a step back.
“Over-protective... She wants Yoona to be a normal relationship.. not this kind..”
“Oh.. Haha... I’m just kidding.. Don’t take it too seriously...” Tiffany let out an awkward laugh before turning around to comfort her girlfriend, who is still scared.
“Sorry unnies~ I’m late. Got caught up with something in class..” Seohyun appears from behind Yuri without making a sound other than talking.
“Ack!? Seobaby! Stop coming out from nowhere... I would be scared to death someday if this goes on.. And I just got scared by SOMEONE ELSE too...” The dark aura disappeared and Yuri glared at Hyoyeon, who turns away quickly, pretending that nothing had happened.
“Anyway, Fany-ah, this is Yuri, Yoona and Seohyun. My cousins.” Taeyeon pointed to the three in order.
“Hi. I’m Tiffany. And this is Jessica.” Tiffany bowed, showing them her eye-smile. Jessica nodded slightly.
They greeted each other. After some discussion, they decided to proceed to take a look at the club room.

Upon reaching, she found out that almost everyone has bulky plastic bags, filled with chocolates, and Sunny has a really big box with her. She also spotted Yoona and Sooyoung, squatting down, staring at the bags of chocolate.“I want to eat these now...” Yoona whined. Sooyoung nodded, agreeing to what she had just said.
