"Mommy, listen to this Valentine I got~" Aiden, your little boy, called from the bar stools while he leaned against the counter top where all of his Valentine’s were happily sprawled out.

"What does it say Aiden?" You questioned, lifting up your eyes from the soap bubble filled sink

"You make me snicker" He giggles showing you the car as it had a Snickers candy bar attached to the colorful card. "Isn’t it cute?!" He beamed while shifting his weight a little while sitting on his knees. 

"It is very cute for a cute boy" You smiled at him while he pulled the candy off of the card carefully and placed the card in one pile while the candy went into another.

"Mom" He whined while his little fingers filed through the large pile of Valentine’s still waiting to be read by your little boy who was still trying to read. "I am not cute, I am handsome" Aiden clearified while his head slightly tilted as his fingertips opened another Valentine.

Smiling to yourself you couldn’t help yourself but think of how much little Aiden reminded you of your loving husband, Hoya. Watching Aiden read the next few Valentines with ease, you couldn’t help but let your eyes fill with love while your heart warmed and filled your whole body with a cozy pride that you had only experienced when you became a mother. 

"Did you get Daddy a Valentine?" Aiden’s question snapped you back into reality as your hands washed another dish in the sink.

"I did" You answered with a smile while your cheeks started to grow a pink hue on them while you tried to concentrate on the task at hand. 

"Do you think Daddy got you a Valentine?" His big brown eyes watched you intently while you turned your gaze towards him.

"Of course, he hasn’t missed a single Valentine’s Day yet~" You reassured him with a smile growing on your lips as Aiden’s eyes lit up with happiness.

"Oh good~" Aiden nodded his head while his eyes dropped down to the pile of cards that he had sorted

"Did Daddy get me something?" You probed knowing that you little boy wouldn’t lie to you, but honestly you had been dying to know what this year had in store for Valentine’s Day.

"Maybe…" Aiden drew out the word a little debating if he should tell you or not, before he was going to tell you a click from the front door caught his attention as he turned around and your eyes lifted to the door swinging open.

"I say Ho, you say…" Hoya called from the front door stepping inside while he slipped the bag from his shoulder

"YA!" Aiden answered loudly while slipping off of the stool and bounding towards the front door.

"Wah! You are louder than all of the inspirits today" Hoya happily smiled while scooping his son up into his arms

"Thanks Daddy! I have been working on it" Aiden nodded his head while stating his fact as Hoya couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. Aiden wrapped his little arms around the strong base of Hoya’s neck as Hoya rubbed his back gently.

"Did you have a fun day at school today?" Hoya questioned his son while effortlessly slipping off his shoes and making his way into the kitchen.

Aiden pulled away from the hug to look into Hoya’s eyes, “I did! We had a Valentine’s party and I got lots of Valentines and candy!”

"Aigoo, no wonder you are too sweet today, you had a lot of sugar" Hoya giggles as his fingers tickled Aiden’s stomach causing Aiden to double over in laughter trying to push his father’s large hand away

"Daddy!" He called through his infectious laughter.

"Do you know who is even sweeter?" Hoya questioned his son while his fingers stopped for a moment so Aiden could answer.

"I don’t know… who?" Aiden giggled as his small hands tried to cover his stomach in protest of no more tickles. Leaning over you heard Hoya whisper a name into your son’s ear before pulling away.

Aiden quickly put his hands over his large smile “That doesn’t count Daddy!”

"Why doesn’t it?" Hoya poked his stomach as Aiden started another giggle fit. 

"Because… it just doesn’t!" Aiden wiggled out of Hoya’s grip and stood on the stool as he sat down carefully before he started to sort his candies and count how many cards he had.

"It still counts" Hoya whispered making his way around the peninsula towards you. "Hey beautiful" He whispered soft and lovingly as his hands slid around your sides and rested over your stomach as he pressed his chest against your back. "Did you have a good day at home?"

"Actually I went to Aiden’s party and helped the other mom’s with it" You smiled as you continued to work on the dwindling pile of dishes that had to be washed.

"Ah well that sounds like fun~ I guess you two had a lot of sugar today" Hoya smiled against your hair.

"What is wrong with sugar? Dongwoo loves it!" You turned your head and glanced at him while he gave you one of his famous stares.

"That is the problem” Hoya shook his head lightly at the thought of Dongwoo on pure sugar.

"He isn’t that bad, just a little… hyper" Your shoulders shrugged slightly against his shoulders that were pressed against yours

"Next time you are with him I will give him sugar and let’s see if you like him ‘a little hyper’" Hoya smirked as his fingers drew a little on your stomach.

Silence slowly grew between the three of you as little whispers of numbers came from Aiden’s mouth as Hoya hummed the song that was stuck in his head from practice earlier today. Finishing up the last dish, you lifted your hands from the soapy water and pulled a towel over as you dried your hands.

"How many Valentine cards to you have?" You questioned as you noticed he was all done counting

"38!" He smiled and showed you the cards all neatly fanned out between his small hands.

"Wow impressive!" Hoya smiled, "I still got more Valentine’s than you though~"

"Nu-uh~!" Aiden shook his head and slid all of his cards back into the little mailbox that he found them in as the candy was stuffed in afterwards.

"Mhmmm!" Hoya nodded tightening his grip on you a little.

"Well then I think the winner should go to bed first~" You cooed glancing at the time on the oven.

"Daddy is the winner, he said that he had more than I did" Aiden pointed to his dad as Hoya let his jaw hang open as you looked at him.

"Fine… Aiden wins…" Hoya pouted while his arms slowly slid from around you. Placing a soft kiss on his cheek you walked around the counter and opened your arms for Aiden.

Jumping into your arms, he wrapped his arms around you as he nuzzled his head into your shoulder. Coming back over to Hoya, you shuffled Aiden to Hoya as Aiden gave his dad a goodnight hug and kiss.Shifting Aiden back into your arms, you slowly carried him back to his bedroom while his legs dangled around your hips occasionally hitting your legs as he enjoyed the ride. 

Getting Aiden changed into a t shirt and pajama pants, you turned down his bed as he crawled in. Tucking him in and getting him all nice and comfy, you turned off his light then his night light as you read him one story and kissed his head.

"Goodnight Mommy, Happy Valentine’s Day" He yawned while his little fists rubbed his eyes slowly.

"Goodnight Aiden, Happy Valentine’s Day" You started to close the door as you watched him gently shift under the covers, "I love you"

"I love you too" His soft whisper replied as you shut the door just so there was a little light pouring into his room before you headed to your room thinking that Hoya was already under the covers and half asleep, like always.

Changing into your favorite pair of pajamas, you came out and undid your hair from the up do you had it in. Noticing that the bed was still perfectly made, you began to look around the master suite to see if he was showering. With the suite empty, you padded into the hallway as you saw a soft light coming from the main living area.

Rounding the corner, your eyes widened as you saw what was before you. candles scattered around the room, soft music playing and Hoya swaying from side to side as he stood there in pair of lilac purple plaid pants and a black tank top that hugged his torso along with showing off his toned muscles. Widening your eyes at the obvious surprise, he smiled seeing your choice of pajamas.

"Happy Valentine’s Day, my wife, my dream, my love" He smiled lovingly at you as he outstretched his hand as you placed your hand in his as he twirled you around and into his arms.

Wrapping one of your arms around his strong shoulders, you couldn’t help but let your eyes wonder at all of the decorations, along with the candles you saw a bouquet of your favorite flowers leaned up against your favorite sparkling drink and a beautiful homemade card standing tall in front of it all.

"Happy Valentine’s Day, my dance machine, my idol, my husband" You copied him a little as you smiled into his shoulder. "I was wondering how you were going to top last year’s Valentine’s Day to be honest."

"Well the hot air balloon ride was pretty amazing, I just don’t think I could do something that daring again" Hoya quietly confessed against your ear, "I thought something a little more close to home would be better."

Slowly he pressed one of his hands against your lower back and brought himself closer to you, The slow, romantic music played while the wax melted down the shafts of the candles, swaying from side to side the two of you shared a quiet yet romantic dance after dance together. Sharing memories as they came to mind letting out breathless laughs and dragging fingers across each other. Eventually you wrapped both of your arms up around his neck and pressed yourself closer to him while your head rested in the crook of his neck.

Adding this one to the list of Valentine’s Days that you would never forget, the two of you danced the night away, happily spending it together making new memories until next Valentine’s Day.
