in all sense, the name of a roleplay oftenly makes us think that it has something to do in shaping the roleplay, the story behind the name and the reason why. the definition of foreign is strange and unfamiliar – am i expecting that all of you are strange and unfamiliar or am i saying that this roleplay is strange and unfamiliar? a little bit of both, if i may say so. i am saying that i am a stranger, someone you don't even know, someone that might take time to get close to, someone you might love or even someone you might despise but if you don't try to get to know me better, that is all i'll ever be to you, foreign and i would like to change that because whenever you decide to join a roleplay, you seek for a family, a sanctuary or a group of people worth loving but are you even making an effort? are you talking to everyone or are you skipping a post of a certain someone? are you in a relationship and too “busy” for everyone else to get to know them better? roleplaying isn't about making your ships come true, it isn't about talking to a friend whom you know out of character — it's about creating new friends, meeting new people and yes, i know that all the roleplayers you know are basically in every other roleplay as you but that doesn't mean you should leave out the ones you've never roleplayed with because just like you, they want to fit in without feeling left out or trying to change their style to squeeze themselves in a crowd and feel foreign. i'm telling you beforehand that i am not skilled to amaze you with beautiful layouts, amazing graphics or wonderful trailers — i'm only here to try and deliver a place where you can feel the love of a family without being bribed with beauty. i want you to have positive thoughts on people and say, “maybe if i try to get to know him/her better, we wouldn't be so awkward,” because when the day ends and you find yourself enjoying your stay with us, the fambam and i just so happen to be a stranger that you barely even know yet you define us as your family because sometimes, strangers are people worth talking to.
