Paramicha

Description

Junho seeks for an answer in his head, only his heart seems to know, and all he finds is emptiness and the feeling of drowning in the endless ocean of broken puzzle pieces. And maybe just maybe the lights above aren't stars but actually shatered mirrors of another lost soul lost somwhere in an long forgotten city.

So here it is my secret santa story
I am super excited and nervous about this story. I can't say I am super satisfied with it, even though I am happy how it turned out. It's just that this isn't simply "my" story but also the present for someone who asked for it. So firstly of course I hope that who ever the receiver is will like and enjoy reading it

This looks like a good one shot, even though it looks like it'll be an emotional one. I love angst...

Chapter 1: wow.. all the details are so fascinating.. i didn't realise that half way thru the story i was already crying.. the loneliness made Junho more ill than the illness itself.. and Woo, he was the ray of light in his life ..

Chapter 1: Fascinating read. The entirety of the first half feels very much like a dream sequence and it took me some time to understand what was actually going on. And by the time I got to the end, I was left feeling sad, happy, and satisfied. Some of your imagery was absolutely enchanting too.

My heart hurt for the way you structured the world between the three races, especially because that rings very true to life in general. I saw Tigress's comment and it helps explain Junho's illness a bit but that is one area that I struggled with coming to a better understanding of. Interesting twist of comparing the 5 stages to his journey of discovery, and I think you really did a very good job of tying him and Wooyoung together. Likewise, the development of their relationship was believable and painful to watch at times, but also beautiful in its own regards. Especially with that ending. T_T

I'm presuming he gave up a part of himself to fix the carousel since he had them when Junho first saw Wooyoung. I will say that the information you gave us after Junho's hospital scene was jarring and felt out of place since we were given it with no warning or preparation. I might suggest that you give us a glimpse of his aunt in the area giving him tidbits of info or something from someone just to help solidify why what happens next with his meeting with Wooyoung is so important. And in the end, integral to the entire story. Junho's reaction after is entirely believable and heart rending though.

As for the ending, it's even more bittersweet because I don't know what is to come of them. Wooyoung in particular, considering what his aid has already cost him. I'll simply continue to hope for a better life since they have both suffered so much already. T_T It was a lovely read in the end and you can say I was quite enchanted by how you pulled everything together, explaining it bit by bit. Your questions were interesting additions too and I think it worked well overall.

Chapter 1: UGH an again, reading this for the second time. You really made this so beautiful and really pulling on my heart. I loved the way that you compared his anxiety with drowning, it was brilliant. And then the way that Woo made it al better. <3<3<3 My favorite line is the part where he says 'What took you so long?' and then he means the other questions in his mind... ugh. That is so real. I could feel it in me!!!
So you wrote this really beautifully and made it so unique too <3

Chapter 1: OH WOW! Such a complex and beautiful story, one of those reads that always ends too fast no matter how long! I totally wish this was a book and a movie and an entire universe I could emerge into, for all the details and intriguing plot! Love how you build up the atmosphere with Junho's problems, his panic attacks (or are they memories, are they both), his adventurous spirit and the fog that swallows everything. Also adore how you built up Woo gradually, making him mysterious and snappy at first but very devoted. And all the language, in general and the specific words in particular, very compelling! Could read chapter after chapter of this and never tire, what a unique story and how well executed! <33333
