It was during the first winter snowfall when Sungyeol had first met Myungsoo.   He will always remember seeing the mysterious boy who had his black clothes all covered with snow as he walked inside the shop with a blank expression.   “Thank you,” the boy said in a heavy tone before taking the steaming hot coffee cup from Sungyeols' hands. “N-No problem,” Sungyeol replied hesitantly. Sungyeol couldn't help but be fascinated by the boy as he watched him sit by himself near the window of the shop. Compared to everybody else who were bright and cheerful for the winter holidays, the boy sat by himself as he looked outside the window.  “I wonder what he's thinking about,” Sungyeol thought to himself unable to take his eyes off of the boy.   2 weeks later   “He's here again!” Woohyun squealed in delight as he jumped up and down. Sungyeol quickly turns his direction from the coffee machine towards the shop entrance to see the boy walk in with his usual blank expression. “He's been coming here almost every day now,” Sungyeol thought to himself. “He must really enjoy our coffee...” He watched as Woohyun took the boys order while the boy either ignored or was oblivious to all of Woohyun's obvious flirtatious advances. “Ugh,” Woohyun scoffed. “He might look cute but his personality isn't.” “You have Key already,” Sungyeol chuckled at Woohyun before immediately turning his attention back towards the boy who was now waiting for his drink at his usual spot near the window. Ever since winter started, this mysterious boy has been coming to the shop every day and usually stayed until closing time. During his time at the shop, the boy often didn't do much but stare blankly outside at the snow covered streets while taking some pictures from time to time. After seeing him almost every day, Sungyeol couldn't help but become curious about the handsome boy. “Is he a photographer?” Sungyeol asked himself, looking down at the boys' camera bag that he carried around with him 24/7. “Maybe he goes to the university that's near the sho-” “Here,” Woohyun said, suddenly handing a freshly made coffee to Sungyeol. “Hand it over to him.” “W-What?!” Sungyeol exclaims. “Why me?!” A devilish grin spreads across Woohyun's face as he looks up at Sungyeol with a sinister expression. “You know why,” he said before forcing the coffee into Sungyeols' hands. Dumbfounded by Woohyun's request, Sungyeol looked over at the boy who was facing the shop window.  “Don't be nervous,” Sungyeol thought to himself, even though his hands were shaking so much that coffee cup was about to spill. Sungyeol takes a deep breath and tries his best to look adept before slowly walking towards the boy. “Your coffee,” Sungyeol said, gently placing the coffee on the table. “Thank you,” the boy replied, not even looking over at Sungyeol. Although Sungyeol had so many questions to ask the boy, he knew that Myungsoo would be weirded out by Sungyeol's list of questions. Sungyeol could only quietly walk back to the counter with a big pout on his face. “Whatever,” he thought. “He's just a random customer, let it go Sungyeol.”   1 week later   “Hey,” Woohyun called over at Sungyeol who was wiping the tables. “Can you help me close tonight? Key and I are going to watch a play together and...” “Yeah, sure,” Sungyeol called back, not wanting to hear anymore about his friends' love life. “You're the best!” Woohyun exclaims as he quickly gets his coat and runs out the front door.
“Okay,” Sungyeol said to himself. “All I have to do is take out the garbage and lock the doors now.” Sungyeol quickly grabs the large garbage bag from the kitchen and opens the back door to be attacked by gust of cold wind from outside. “Wow, it's snowing a lot,” Sungyeol thought to himself before walking outside. Due to how cold it was, Sungyeol quickly threw the garbage bag in the dumpster as fast as he could before running back inside the shop. “Wait,” Sungyeol thought to himself. “Did I just step on something?” Sungyeol turns around to see something in front of the dumpster on the ground completely covered in snow.
