"Hurry up, I'm about to die from the cold, appa" She cried out pitifully before hanging up her phone. Switching it off soon after, Seolhyun happily took a bite from her favourite steamed bun. It was snowing, and the temperature was so cold that most of human being chose not to go out in this kind of weather.
“Seolhyun-ah!” Her voice is gentle, but surprise is evident from her tone.
Seolhyun enjoyed snow. She loved it so much that she usually sneaked out of her house just to play with those little cold flakes, and even a bad scolding from her parents could not stop the girl from enjoying the snow. Reindeer red nose, sore throat, blurry eyes, and what else? None can stop her from losing herself in that deep cold and white substance.
Loved is the major key word here. And it all changed because of that woman.

"You should come in, Joel." Carol stood, leaning against the trunk of a tree the branched into thick leaves. It provided perfect shade from the merciless summer sun. It was likely the hottest day that year but there was no easy way to keep track anymore. After the outbreak, the only thing people cared about was surviving.
The heat didn't phase Joel, though. He continued digging and wiping away his sweat.
"You're gonna pass out if you keep at this." Carol's voice turned stern and she tried a hard glare, but it was useless. She couldn't be mean to him if her life was on the line.
"No," Joel managed to huff out, ignoring the itchy burning sensation on his forehead. "They'd be angry if I stopped."
"Who's 'they?'" Carol stood straighter, squinting to better see through the sunlight.
"The dead." Joel responded more casually than comfortable. A shiver ran down Carol's spine and she opened to say something only to be greeted with silence. Persuasion seemed useless since it was obvious he wouldn't quit until the sun set.

I can handle it.” Jongin tells her with a smile before squeezing her shoulder in attempt to quell her anxiety. “You’re going to be late for your flight if you don’t hurry up. I’m sure Sulli and Chanyeol are waiting.” He adds as he gives her a friendly hug.
Jongin’s rewarded with a smile and a kiss on the cheek. “Thanks, Jong. I owe you a lot. I’ll just say my goodbye to Luhan, okay?” She says, keeping the smile on her face as she pulled herself away from him. She walks towards the bedroom – her face creasing into a look of worry as he watched the lump under the comforter shift at the sound of the door. Carefully, she sits on the side of the bed, peeling the covers down until a mop of dark blond hair becomes visible.
