Description
Taemin's life has been a long series of unfortunate events.
When he was nine, his parents were killed in a car accident.
He was sent to live with his mother's alcoholic sister, who only took him in for the monthly checks.
When he was thirteen, he realized he was gay when he kissed his best friend.
Soon thereafter, he was outed by his best friend.
Now, at seventeen, he thought he had fallen in love. That this guy was the guy that would come along and change his life for the better.
But little did Taemin know, their relationship was just a joke. A prank that the entire student body was in on.
And now, as he stands on the edge of the bridge looking down at the fall that is bound to end his seemingly endless life...
He doesn't hesitate.
He jumps.
And the last thing that goes through his mind as he's falling is,
"I only ever wanted a true friend."
Foreword
"I cannot ing believe you brought him down here... Are you insane, Jonghyun?!"
"Seriously! I mean.. I know he's cute and all -kind of irresistible- but you can't just.. take him because you wanted to! ... The man upstairs is going to be livid."
"He was an innocent kid, Jjong. You didn't have any right bringing him here."
"The kid jumped! He killed himself. Which is technically murder. Which is technically a sin. And sinners who don't repent do what? Go to hell."
"ing hell, Jonghyun! Are you really going to try to justify this with a technicality! You know damn well he doesn't belong here, regardless of how he died!"
"I'm not taking the blame for this one. I'm not putting my on the line again because you broke the ing rul-"
"Shh! I think he's waking up.."
"He looks like a baby kitten... I miss baby kittens.."
His eyes fluttered open, his nose crinkled and his brows furrowed.
"Where am I...?"
He wasn't sure. The people looking over him were strangers. Unrecognizable.
The last thing he remembered was.. jumping. He should have been dead.
"Where... where am I?" he asked tentatively. "Hospital? Infirmary?"
They all seemed to exchanged looks for a moment and directed their gaze to the man standing closest to him.
The man looked back at him, searching their eyes for some sort of answer. One of them nudged him, to which he grimaced and sighed.
He turned his attention to Taemin, offering him a small smile. "Welcome to hell, kid."
